Pixel apk Port on Oreo - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

Ever since I upgraded my note 8 to Oreo I have not been able to get a working Pixel camera port apk. When I was on Nougat I never had any problems, now I get focusing problems for front camera, blurry portraits for front camera, the camera will crash at times, and even rear shots dont look as good. Anyone out there know of a camera port that works good ?

[Camera] Redmi 3s Prime camera focus problem

I wonder if anyone of you have problem with camera focus. I want to know that it could be problem in MIUI or is it H/W issue?
Please help me with it.
Thanks
I also have the same problem where the Redmi 3S main camera doesn't focus and all pictures captured are blurred.
Same issue here, started after installing custom ROM
Does it happens for only the back cam or both the cams? It might be possible that there is dust inside the glass which affects focus. might want to clear your lens from the inside.

redmi 3s is most bugged phone in the history of xiaomi. this one unlucky fella got no love of xiaomi leaving it without any single android upgrade or latest security patch.
According to me that auto-focus issue may be a wrongly designed mechanism, as I have experienced this issue on all camera apps in playstore and custom rom I have tried
Lol front camera is fixed focus camera so don't expect so much.
My Xiaomi Redmi 3s camera also can't focus anymore because the camera's autofocus problem suddenly happens on my phone. I also cleaned the camera lens from the inside and the results didn't work. suppose this problem has a solution or not ?? because I often use cameras for photography ... please help find a solution ...

Front camera after Oreo update

Hi,
After the Oreo update all the comments/discussions are about the new AI feature and the Bright Mode of the camera but nothing about the front camera for what we was waiting the update that will redress the issue.
Did anyone notice an improvement guys?

GCAM issues on Pixel Experience ROM

I installed Pixel Experience AOSP ROM on my redmi 5 plus and I really enjoy the simplicity and design. However, one annoying problem is that GCam doesn't work as well as it used to be on MIUI. The main problem is the lens blur option - If you set the megapixel count to 12MP in lens blur mode - The feature becomes extremely laggy and unusable, it only works smoothly on 8MP and that's really disappointing. On MIUI I was taking lens blur pics on 12MP easily.
The second problem which is less infuriating is that installing the custom rom still haven't fixed the non-working front camera w/ HDR+ issue on gcam 6, but since this is a widespread issue I could live with that and only use the rear camera. (Unless someone did manage to find a solution then I will be happy to hear)
Thanks for the help
You can try the BSG Arnova version of Gcam.
Version is 6.1.021.220943556

Gcam Android Pie REDMI 5 plus [Help]

What is the best gcam for Android pie in Redmi 5 plus??
I Have tested several and none are with the proper quality. Thanks.
Arnova gcam 6.1.021.
Only problem i have is that it doesn't save selfies and portrait gets stuck at editing HDR photo. Everything else is working perfectly and picture quality is really nice. And you also have night mode which makes wonders.
I use
https://www.mediafire.com/download/8b1chhrp8cx26yv
It's the one before all night shot got introduced (it's a Pixel 2 port) but all features work as intended (camera, video, slow-mo, portrait, front and back flash) all stable and nice picture quality.
Night sight in the front camera is not working!!
Whereas in the back camera it does wonders
Is there any workaround?
I am using this and also does not work the front camera.

Question Anyones s23 ultra selfie camera make a click/pop sound when closing/swiching out of it?

When I am in the selfie camera and i open the gallery preview on the bottom left or close the camera app i hear this click sound coming from the front facing selfie camera. Also when i look super closely after switching or closing the app, i can see the selfie camera move backwards kinda.
Im aware of the rear cameras having OIS so it moves around and makes some sound but this seems to be coming from the front facing camera. I never switched to the back cameras so they never activated.
Can you guys with the 23 ultra test this and see if you have it too, im not sure if its normal behavior.

The Front Facing Camera have auto focus so there is a lens that moves forward and backward , and may be thy added OIS secretly like apple did with IP14PM

Of course the camera has OIS... It's a flagship. It would be basically criminal for it NOT to have optical image stabilization. Also, the iPhone Pro Max series has had OIS since at least the 12 Pro Max (in fact Apple claimed it had dual optical image stabilization, meaning the telephoto had it as well). Not having OIS means blurry images in anything less than the utmost stable of hands when taking a photo and it's why I hated my OnePlus 9 and wished I bought the 9 Pro even though I didn't want the curved screen. Were you thinking of some other feature?
