Rooting SM-G530T

Hello everybody,
I've got an SM-G530T phone. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime from T-Mobile. I'd like to root it, and this is my first time trying to root or otherwise tamper with the software on a phone beyond a little app development.
I downloaded the kernel from this post and tried to flash it on to my phone using Odin. v3.11. The flashing fails, and "Custom Binary(boot) Blocked By FRP Lock" appears underneath the rest of the text, which now reads:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G530T
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
FRP LOCK: ON
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
RP SWREV: S1, T1, H1, R1, A1, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE
Custom Binary(boot) Blocked by FRP Lock
I have no idea what this means and google is being most unhelpful to me tonight. I've found some resources for the SM-G530H, but I'm not sure whether they'll be compatible with the SM-G530T that I have. Not to mention that a lot of what I've found looks somewhat sketchy. Maybe I'm paranoid about the sketchiness, but if possible, I'd like to keep all the data on my phone and not brick it. It'd be even better if I could dump all the data to a file on my computer that I could restore later.
I've read that the FRP Lock is something where you have to enter your credentials after you factory reset the phone or something, but I'm not doing a factory reset and there are no mentions of credentials anywhere.
Anyone know how to remove this "FRP Lock" thing or root it differently?

Looks like I can't read. If you have this problem, go into the Settings app, developer options, and turn off OEM Bootloader Locking or whatever it's called. Something like that.
Now, can I install a TWRP for SM-G530H on a SM-G530T?
In case anyone else is looking here for resources on rooting the SM-G530T and you want to install a custom recovery, take a look at this post. If that ever goes down, I could probably put up a mirror if you asked.

G925I with 6.0.1 (Argentina-Claro) - missing OEM unlock option

Hello guys, i've recently got a Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925I with Marshmallow 6.0.1 and i'm really pleased with its speed and battery!
I searched how to root it, but from the very first moment i got stuck because i can't find the "Allow OEM Unlock" option in Developer Settings. I have already made a factory reset but remained the same, so i decided to avoid flashing anything just to make sure i don't screw it up. I've looking for similar cases and i found out that if the OEM Unlock option doesn't appear, the phone may have an already unlocked bootloader. But if the phone comes from a carrier, it could be locked.
As i mentioned in the title, my S6 Edge comes with the firmware from our carrier Claro. I suspect this could be the cause.
Please can someone confirm that the firmware from this carrier indeed has a locked bootloader? Is there any way to check this by myself? how can i bypass the lock and root the device? Can i safely flash the official Nougat firmware with Odin even if the bootloader is locked?
I'm leaving below the details from "Software Info" and the Download Mode screen in case it helps.
Android version: 6.0.1 // Compilation number: MMB29K.G925IUBS3QD5 // Base Band: G925IDVU3EPL1

G925I and G925F have unlocked bootloader by default.
You can flash nougat firmware without issue and keeping knox intact. Beware if you root knox will be tripped permanently.
Good! i may install nougat and then look for the proper root method, but now i feel more confident, i'll let you know once i manage to do it, thanks callumbr1 !

The FRP lock has nothing to do with Network lock. You can have the bootloader unlocked and still you could not be able to use another Sim card. If you still wan't to disable the FRP, go to settings, about device, software info, build information. Tick 6 times on that one. Now go to developer settings and disable oem protection. Once you disable it, the frp will be disabled.
