Today i came across PhoenixOS in that they have given an exe file which lets us choose in between PenDrive or HDD(See
Image 1)
can anyone make this kind of exe file for remixos this is way too easy in dual booting from HDD without partitioning and erasing the HDD (See image 2) (I tried booting from HDD It was simple and easy and works perfectly).....

Hi there i am running an older computer with windows 10/manjaro linux kde (dual boot), and installed Remix Os as shown in the tutorial provided by jide, but when i reboot the machine and choose win 10 it boots straight into win 10.
So it doesn´t show any OS selection screen...
The folder is in C: and it seems to be installed... So no idea what is happening.
I tried both the 32 and the 64 beta´s but no luck... What am i missing here guys? Is my machine not capable of running Remix OS?
Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS M4A785-M
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 450
Gfx card: Nvidia 9600GT

You could have asked me
Boot into your Linux, IN your system drive, you'll find a folder named boot. There must be a folder named grub inside it. And inside it, there would be a grub.cfg file

So I bought a television thinking it was a Samsung Smart TV, but it turned out to be an MStar Android TV. Long story short, I am stuck with this television. I feel like if I was able to root it I could do more with it; like access USB drive remotely and delete/move files via wireless, remove pre-installed apps, so on and forth.
But I don't have any idea what to do to root it. Which rooting method will work and I can't find help regarding this television. Would someone mind taking a look at this hardware info and direct to me a direction?

If TV hangs, just power off and wait for a couple of seconds. Restart TV and wait for Kingroot to do it's thing. It will install KingUser. And ROOT!

UPDATE FROM MY SIDE:
I foolishly uninstalled apps without a backup. Broke Google Apps and Play Services some how.
Then for some reason I thought installing BusyBox was a good idea. -_-
After BusyBox my wifi has stopped working.
Tried factory reset but that just erases the apps and settings. Wifi still not working.
So kinda stuck with getting it online via LAN.
How is your experience?
I too have mstar tv from vise vijya sales. I have rooted it is there way to use custom recovery on mstar smart tv
Development
Hi all
i tried to do some development on this tv and wanted to share my work
First adb connection
use
Code:
adb connect tvlocal-ip:5555
my tv ip is 192.168.1.2 so i used
Code:
adb connect 192.168.1.2:5555
after connection i pulled build.prob,boot.img,recovery.img and made a partition layout
boot.img is kernel only and is 4 mb file
recovery.img is recovery only too and is 10 mb file
i used extract-ikconfig.sh script to extract kernel configuration because config.gz wasn't available
now i am looking for kernel sources...any help ??
thanks in advance
best regards

I have also successfully rooted my Mstar Android TV by seeing this thread. And removed unwanted apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype, Twitter etc.
Please help how to boot into recovery mode manually in this Mstar Android TV.
And we can be in safe zone if we have custom recovery in it. Think on it guys

I just got a Qin 1s+. I am trying to transfer some audio and PDF files to it. Whenever I connect the USB-C cable to my computer I get a prompt on the phone that says:
USB tethering
USB connected, check to tether
Media device (MTP)
Lets you transfer media files on Windows,
or using Mocor5 File Transfer on Mac
Where do I get `Mocor5 File Transfer`? The OS on the Qin 1s+ is called `Mocor5` right? I can't find any information on a file transfer program for Mac.
Any information would be appreciated! Thank you.

What exactly do you mean by "toned down"? I still haven't figured this out. If I could find an image of the OS that would be a great start, but I still would like to know what Mocor5 File Transfer was? It's a file transfer program, but I've never heard of it.
Thank you!
I don't own a mac so I can't answer thought question.
But mocor 5 is a os built on Android 4 and it's designed specially for spreadtrum devices that have buttons.

Okay, do you know where I can DL *any* type of image for it? I'd like to find that and mess around with it. I searched `Mocor 5` and didn't find a single page.
Here you go! This is the fdl for xiaomi (duoqin) qin 1 s plus but it's very similar so try it.
