Here's some small answer to your questions or just answer to questions.
Code:
Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.
Q: Do you have any Telegram/G+ Group to chat and share stuff of the ROM?
A: Check the first paragraphs, you'll find it

Mobile hotspot works just fine if you edit the build.prop file by adding the following: net.tethering.noprovisioning=true
I am on Verizon.

Thanks! It worked.
I just installed this last night working great with all the features that I love. I've been trying to do this now for months and people keep telling me that you can underclock the CPU, but no matter what application I use I've never had the settings actually stick. So let's do an experiment. either using ex kernel manager or Franco kernel manager, those are the two that I've experimented with the most, go to the CPU settings and simply set both cores to a lower value than they are a default. Now exit out of the application, go into another application, and then close the kernel manager from the recent list. Now when going back into the kernel manager, the CPU settings are back to the default values. I've heard so many people say they underclock the CPU but I don't understand how the settings stick?

IDK. I don't see any purpose in underclocking. It's says right in EX manager that CPU is controlled by system processes and may not persist. Lol
IMO , this is the smoothest ROM , and I've tried them all lol looking forward to future builds.. Thanks for keeping this first gen device relevant

So just installed the rom for the first time, seems like everything is working but the second it boots it says shutting down. Any reason why that might be happening?
Edit: I'm dumb and didn't wipe data. However now it just won't boot at all...

You should be flashing this just as you would Lineage.
1. Flash ROM then flash Twrp installer
2. Reboot recovery
3. Flash July vendor image
4. Mount vendor and delete the vendor/overlay folder using Twrp file manager
5. Flash razorloves Gapps
6. Profit
*If you follow this process exactly you will have no issues.*

Is anyone using jio. Because in newest Oreo ROMs m facing this issue ! -.- when my 2gb data gets over than that cross sign comes on top of that but when I am switching of the WiFi ! That goes away . idk how .
But main thing is that jio . why net gets off when my data gets over !
(Because jio allows to surf internet at 64kbps when limit gets exhausted )
Any logic behind this ? ?

Thanks for the review bro, honestly I'm tempted to try. It's just I do some occasional gaming on my phone so gaming performance matters to me as much as system wide performance. And haven't found an Oreo custom rom that scores in the 1500s in the 3d/gpu department for our device. So if it's not asking much. Do you mind running Antutu benchmark and sharing your scores screen?
Couple of bugs to report here:
1. Internet was working fine in SIM1 VOLTE, but it went away suddenly when I was travelling and now I tried everything I can't get the internet working, even switching to other sim is not letting me have the internet. Restarted N times..resetted apn ..tried airplane mode.. nothing is helping.
2. other person on the call is not able to hear my voice clearly...they say its very low as if I am speaking from a large distance.. I think we need to check the build.prop file here for which I need to root it..any suggestion how to do that.
3. Its not detecting sim card at all after switching internet a few times (I switched to get internet from other SIM but it didn't work. I did delvik/cache wipe but it didn't fixed the prob..so I am currently without network on both SIM.. Then I did complete delvic+data+cache wipe to get the sim detected... got VOLTE logo but still no internet
I did a clean flash with TWRP recovery. Things are great so far in terms of performance. Still testing.

If you faced an issue with boot animation, you can delete the larger boot animation (bootanimation2.zip) from /system/media/ and copy/paste rename the 6mb or 11mb one to bootanimation2.zip.
--
Like other ROM, Active Edge and Pixel Stand special features (except fast charge) aren't working because sources are closed off by Google but all other Pixel stuff works well.
Flashing instructions
Prerequisites
You should be using the most current factory image from Google (blueline).

Dude nice work man! Smooth AF and snappy. First impression...winner, winner, daily driver.
I tried installing this but TWRP keeps saying "failed to map file". some forums recommended using previous TWRP versions, but when trying to "fastboot boot" the imgs, two different ones I tried didn't even boot so I didn't want to flash it. please help!

Yes that's the one I used first, but it says "twrp-pixel3-installer-blueline-3.2.3-0.zip" while this ROM states "3.2.3-2 or above is required"
So I was confused, because those versions don't seem to match up. In any case I did try it, but still the problem with failing to map the file

Yes that's the one I used first, but it says "twrp-pixel3-installer-blueline-3.2.3-0.zip" while this ROM states "3.2.3-2 or above is required"

If you're coming from stock, you just need to do a factory reset (no advanced wipe) in twrp and flash the rom. And yes, 3.2.3-0 is the one and only version for blueline.

Hahha it's cool bumping into viewers! I'll be making a video on this ROM soon, after one for my Pixel 2.
Have you flashed it yet? I love the aesthetic changes to it so far, the use of fonts.
Well I finally got this to work and to be honest it seems kind of sloppy haha (i mean in the rom itself it even calls itself a super stinky buggy beta lol) but my stock rom won't work with magisk and this is the only custom pixel 3 rom (I'm not skilled enough to figure out rattlesnake XD) so this is the only option if i want root. But I see that this has some potential so i hope it gets its boots laced up before the race.

keep enjoying different roms.
I remember there was a time when there was no development of our meagre device and now its flooded with choices
Now we can show our device to others and can boast that a device with not so significant specification can also work wonderfully, if well supported by developers.

Only negative part of ROM is that sometimes apps take too long to open sometimes, for example, when I reopen Whatsapp or Facebook it takes almost 8 seconds, even with all apps closed and battery saver mode turned off. Does anyone know why this happens?

So why the file is *-v2.zip instead *-v2.5.zip

cool stuff! looked around a bit obviously discovered many visual bugs and much missing stuff compared to Pie roms but it's new and work-in-progress after all!
But how about features? in this case (compared to Pie msm-x) will the settings/features be the same? will it be more? some different? there are plenty of things i miss in general
compared to custom android 7.x and 6.x roms for example. i'm really annoyed though on how volume control works and the amount of empty wasted space i nthe top part when the notification bar is expanded. Oreo and earlier did these the best( Google's to blame). but i will keep an eye out and see how this rom progresses through time.

currently i found:
- misaligned power options. 'power off' and 'restart' are smaller and aligned to the right. 'Advanced reboot' underneath looks normal.
- 'Enable on-screen nav bar' button is greyed-out after enabling. going back and going to the 'Buttons' section again makes the switch not grayed-out anymore.
- when network traffic AND the arrows are enabled, a few pixels are shaved off from the underside of the indicator when pulling the status bar once.
no gapps nor other kernel only flashed magisk

battery seems normal. no weird stuff. it also charges on very low current, which is healthy for the battery. (i use the usb port of my turned-off desktop to charge overnight, not possible with every rom).
there's no camera app currently. but i expect the snap one that every rom uses and plenty of settings, including 4k and 1080p 60 fps support. even open gapps aren't here as of the time of posting this..

There is actually no camera app so you have to get one yourself. Battery seems to be as good as on Pie, maybe a bit better, dont have statistics yet.
As bug reporting goes I can add some too:
- lockscreen says the phone is slow charging, which im not sure if its actually true
- youtube 60fps videos lag like hell for some reason
- the slide up lockscreen really doesnt want to unlock sometimes
- also its maybe only me, but I get a message on every boot that theres an internal problem with my phone or something
Other than that man it is a fast ROM!

No, you will need to flash separately. I use OpenGapps nano.
The ROM Is amazing .. very fast ?
You are amazing man! I was beginning to lose hope.
One problem though. I updated directly from OTA (is it called dirty flash?) and the phone booted the system but I encountered some noob problems:
my Gapps was crashing so I flashed Gapps again
then I realized my Magisk Root was gone so I tried to flash Magisk again but It failed and It almost nagged me about no vendor image being present.
Where could I find the vendor image or do I need to do a clean wipe and flash the from again?
I'm using TWRP and no custom kernel.

Hehe .. always here to help .
Android 10 is way more complicated than Oreo and pie . Currently there are none Custom Kernel for android 10 . You can't use a kernel of Oreo or pie in android 10 , it'll cause bootloop .
For anyone on the fence this ROM is the best. I have tried quite a few the past few months this one is flawless. Its fast, no random reboots, everything works, all the options I want. Thanks for this one it breathed new life into my phone. Almost 5 years and still going.
