My phone is US997 (non US Cellular). I took the 20b update on 6/29/18 via LG Bridge. This is a stock 8.0 20b KDZ directly from LG Bridge after it finished downloading.
Download (2.53gb):

Worked on my US Cellular US997. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! One of my G6's has the stupid issue where it says phone not registered yet when I check for updates so I need KDZs to update!
Thanks for sharing this file with us! Updated my carrier free/ non-branded us997 from 20a to 20b using this file, not sure of what differences there are, if any, but always nice to update regardless. Newer security patch if nothing else. I believe a few new options in the camera as well. Again man, thanks for sharing it!

I had the same issue once I updated to the KDZ I no longer get the error message when i click to check for updates i do still however get error messages from LG Drive so likely still not working updating from it but there is at least hope for OTA updates now.
Will this update relock the bootloader or unroot the phone?

I have the RS988 G5, unlocked, purchased from B&H. I was wondering if there is a link to information on what is in the RS98811c update? I had no luck finding anything about this update.

Have you heard that there is a RS98811c update? RS98811b brought the Android security patch level up to June 1 2016, but I've read somewhere that there is an August version of the security patch as well. Perhaps if there is a version 11c update it will include that latest security patch.
RS98811c update is installed

I just checked for it and it was waiting for me to download.
Here's some information about it:
For those who care about such things, the RS98811c update DOES increment the rollback counter. Security patch is taken to 2016-07-01.
My phone didn't find the update. Is it for ATT only?(I have Tmobile)

The RS988 is the unlocked US variant, and I am using it on AT&T's network, so I can't say for sure. I found it by checking for updates under the "About Phone", then "Update Center", then "Software Update" menus, and there it was. I tried using LG Bridge, but software update wouldn't work for me.
I just had this update pushed to my phone yesterday afternoon and just installed the update, I'll report back my findings later this week.
Trying my best to ignore it for now and wait for more people to confirm if you can rollback after this update. Don't want to ruin any chance I have at getting root in the future.
So far we all know that the only country with possibility and arrival of the update of Android 7 is South Korean, country of origin of LG. In the official notice warned that in the coming weeks we were going to receive the different countries the update to nougat. If you think it would be useful to notify the news of the arrival of nougat to our respective countries giving the ppsible information that we are having in this regard.
Yes but I think you should move this thread to the News, Guide, and Discussions, but still yes we should.
10 days passed still not started in Europe. LG is sleeping?
LG is dying and so are we
People with sprint lg g5 report that they are getting updated to nougat.
LG said other markets are coming in the upcoming WEEKS, so dont expect it before end of December or Jan/Feb 2017. I dont get how they just can release one image and let Android handle the language...
Finally Firmware Lg G5 V20 Android 7.0 Nougat has arrived in Spain, I am downloading the update as soon as I can say something about the first impressions ...
Nougat in title.
South Korea not South Korean.

What is the current software version of yours? Mine doesn't receive OTA updates cause it keeps saying "Your phone is not registered." when I click Check for Software Update.

You'll find the Nougat KDZ file for ZAF at the very bottom of the table found at this link: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h850-firmwares/
I'm going to wait for the zip to flash from TWRP, though.
can you provide a link to the KDZ file ??
I have no idea how to find the link/file.
Edit: https://lg-firmware-rom.com/ and entering your IMEI works to get a link.. DL is slow as hell, though.

LG-H870 V30a (beta)
V30a for h870 is final.
Yep. Anyone willing to create a flashable zip?
Here
First post on page by matthew33. It is the 30a version. It is called test version there but in the end, it turned out to be the final version.
But is it truly identical? I.e. same hash?
Edit: Nope.. the beta shows as GLOBAL version, while the final kdz is EUR version.
Just flashed it via LG Bridge. Version number is V30a-EUR-XX and security patches from May 2019. So far it has been working without any problems. Although I don't see any big changes compared to Oreo as LG has so heavily skinned their OS (no vertical sound control bars etc.).
Today in verizon
https://ibb.co/SX5zRGJ
Also on unbranded
It's also available on unbranded device in Austria.
I've just downloaded it OTA in Spain. Does anyone have the "what's new" list? I removed it by accident before being able to read it and now I can't find it.
waiting for update in t mobile H872 pie update

Anyone having problems with netflix and Dolby Vision after updating the H870 to Android Pie??
Whenever I try to play dolby vision content on netflix the screen looks washed out, no blacks, awful. It keeps that way until i exit from the app.

I used Lenovo rescue to update my G Power to the QPMS30.80-109-2 version (from QPMS30.80-51-5) and I was wondering what is different. I think it is strange that this update was not OTA. It is also still on the July security patch.
The update was released on August 31st 2020 according to a mirror

No, no crashes. I updated using the Lenovo rescue, removed the erase user data line from the XML file.
I never got the Ota update.
Retus G Power here. The OTA update is QPMS30.80-51-8 with the September 1, 2020 security patch. The LMSA downloads the QPMS30.80-109-2 version for some reason.
