As long as phh, did push that commit in the last 24h, it's already there.

Well, logs or it didn't happen.
I am using AB version for a Moto G6 Plus. I boot twrp, and then wipe data and flash the rom and try to reboot. It boots me back to fastboot or gives me another error asking me if I want to try again or do a factory reset.
EDIT: I forgot we need a modified boot.img for our device to be rooted. I restored stock boot.img and the GSI sticks on the boot animation screen.

Boots to boot animation and ADB is accessible, but doesn't complete boot. This is on the OnePlus 6. Here's a logcat.
Yes, I am following the proper flashing procedure as LineageOS, Resurrection Remix, Boot Leggers, and phh-AOSP all boot.

Just got it to boot after talking to phhusson. Turns out the problem is that ro.build.fingerprint was too long (it takes a maximum of 91 characters.) When I changed it to a shorter, also valid build fingerprint (eg. the one from phhusson's AOSP GSI) then it boots correctly.
I got this error when it boots in google:
Device is not certified by Google.

Setup a full backup before tryin' to install this.
I wiped everything else than storage, then i installed your ZIP trough recovery. I did not flash SuperSU or Magisk after flashing the ZIP, i am using twrp3.1.1-0 and i had the Pexorom installed before.
Did i bootloop my phone because i didn't install a proper SU (don't think so, but i am unsure)? Tried your 10.14/.15/.18 build on my F5121. Even tried a few F5122 builds, but the bootloop isn't evadeable.

Thanking you for this awesome ROM.
Rocking crdroid back to f1
Awesome project, new product but has alot custom Rom
**Reserved**
Boots up.
CR droid boot animation is sick! Loved it.
Of course as title says it's in alpha "testing" so constant system UI crashes upto the point where the screen completely goes black.
One thing I liked about this build was the resolution looks good UI and stuff (got all this just by looking the pre Google setup screen) All the other ROMs I tested has bad resolution and the screen is just not satisfying but not in this rom!
Waiting for stable build. Like.

GAPPS: I used MindTheGapps, which I found linked in the LOS thread.
First time installing crDroid to your Pixel XL, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM then TWRP and reboot back to TWRP.
8) Flash GApps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same.
***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
Don't expect any support if you:

1. The LTE is not fast as on stock.
Some networking issue a very subtle(sample, when I defined in Calls VOIP account that used for years and on the evice 5 minuts ago, have got issue with connectivity as result was inability to register on providers network and no use of phone; the sme on stock , again, after 15 minuts, a volia! all works).
2. When device is connected by USB cable with Winows computer with fully installed android /google / adb / fastboot etc tools, the connection interrupted by 5-7 seconds, paused, automatically started connected again fr 10-20 seconds and so on.
shame there is no newer crdroid for pixel xl...

Thank for your work! Can it be rooted with Magisk?
What advantage does it offer over miui 12?
Is this stable rom?
I'm new in custom rom, i'm using gsi bt that is not good so much!!
I play pubg!! So i need a gaming rom & Karnel.
wow finally a proper custom rom that's not GSI for our device!
thank you so much, i will try this later when i have free time.
cheers!
Advice from me: (if this modification is your)
Remove Gapps and users will he choose if they want it because it's important to have users more ram on your custom rom than original xiaomi miui rom.

I would, actually, so that I could get an idea of what your ROM offers. Instead you link to some Telegram group. If I install Telegram, create an account there and join your channel can I find out? Why not tell us here, or on your website? All your website tells me is that you aim to revolutionize the AOSP experience; big words, what do they even mean? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but your post genuinely confuses me. I'm interested to know what Descendant is, and why I should pick it over e.g. dotOS or PixelExperience, but even your website doesn't really tell me anything. Or is it the screenshots, do they show off what's unique about Descendant? As I've never used stock Android 12 before, I'm afraid I can't tell; it all looks different from Android 11 anyway.

The screenshots tells you what are the goodies of Descendant
I need to flash vendor_boot file first? Or I can skip that and start by flashing recovery?
I'm on PE 12 right now so I assume than I need to flash stock MIUI first. Version 12.5.7.0 eu or different?
Nice to have a dedicated rom! Anyone have some initial experience with the battery backup?

it will be nice if they build it inside or maybe a aroma installer that will ask you if you want it or stock.
the best rom I've used

Same as any ROM.
Do the necessary wipes and flash the ROM.
No wipes are needed between updates from Descendant itself, unless specified.

is 12 or 13 Miui base mandatory?? And is a vanilla build available?? Thanks

Any AOSP recovery should do the job, secondly root is not officially supported but works just fine

Would you care to expand? I tried flashing your recovery via fastboot and my phone (renoir) entered a bootloop until it was put in download/fastboot mode using the power+vol down combination. Then I went back to xiaomi.eu (miui 13)
If I use the recovery from, say, pixel experience or dot os roms, will I be able to flash your rom using adb sideload?
Or what is the right process??
