Made a tutorial since I upgraded from global Rom to Philippines room. That's the closest that is now for India.
Hope it helps.
Video is bit long since didn't have much time to properly edit out the pieces. Please ignore that.

What's important to emphasize is the "PHL" KDZ is also the exact same KDZ that will released for India. It's just India users can get it now. Even in "About Phone" it says 20B IND. Many people have proven that.
They just have to download and install it.
Been available online for 3 weeks now. No need to wait any longer.

there's a thread on Google now. we need to deodex our rom for it.
T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 P769?
We really need a concise thread with links to what works on T-mobile P769.
But what's a P769BK? I mean I did buy mine off some guy from craigslist and did meet him at Burger King, that count?
Rooting was slight maze with a few steps outta place or missing tiny details.
Do we have an easier bootloader unlock, other than looking in the mirror and doing the hokey pokey?

BK is the T-mobile version of the L9.
And no I don't think there is an easier way to unlock the bootloader besides the 'hokey pokey' one
Whenever we do get the JB update though, we might have more options.
The P769 P769bk and P769bkgo are all the same phone they are wind mobile t-Mobile and T-Mobile prepaid respectively.

videos would help
I would like to try and unlock my bootloader on my p769. I've unrooted and rerooted my phone twice now so I'm use to flashing the kdz files. I think it would be easier if someone made a video showing how the mirrored image and "wonky" touchscreen actually look. Plus seeing a video with someone showing the steps would be very beneficial. The forums are great though. Lots of information here.
Sorry if I had time I'd make a video for you. Its really not super hard dealing with the inverted touch it just takes a while to figure out where you're touching vs where it registers. If you touch on the left it registers on the right side etc. And it is inverted vertically as well but not in exactly the same way the threshold isn't perfectly center.
Some guy in another thread said he heard from a reliable source we're getting JB update April 24th. I don't know how reliable his info is. Also the Mexican P768 just got the jb update minus the code to unlock the boot loader. If T-Mobile did the same thing it would not surprise me at all.
So in summation wait or don't wait

Welcome back my pal. After long time. :fingers-crossed:expecting something nice for L9 from you.
Hi Guys,
Seems there WAS (is) another update for the europe market....for a V790 !!!
It is on the same link where B09 was namely Spain, HongKong etc....
Think they are messing things up pretty BAD !
It's all over ZTE support.
Really weird...
EDIT : and now it's gone ! They have read my thread
EDIT2 : one thing has changed though : they have changed all the support for europe to B09. Before you could find a B09,B08,B05...spread all over the place. Now this have been updated...
EDIT3 : And now the AXON7 open market leads you to the AXON7 mini :cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:
Let's be honest : if ZTE wants to update their site, let's do this offline and put the site online if you're done....man....
Yes, they are updating the site, it will be fixed, there are some updates coming soon.

did ZTE germany actually come back to you after you sent them your application?
So I ran into this site while looking for AoSP roms. Can someone confirm if this is legit? I'm pretty sure there is no official release from Sony yet.

It's a big scam, for clue if you follow the download link it ask for completing an offer. You can do it but finally you will have nothing, just malwares and viruses on your computer
This kind of scam is very popular on the web.

Thought so. Thanks for confirming.
If you look at the comments on the bottom of that page you may notice something strange. Pay attention to all of the profile pictures of those people lol most of them are professional portraits in business attire. Not really the target audience of people who root and modify their phones.

When Pie is officially released you won't have to ask. It won't be a secret.
You can install the beta right now if you wish. There's at least three different threads going, to tell you how.
Sent via open market LG US998 V30/V30+
Hahaha. I'm guessing that a no then. Yes ive seen the threads but still i don't want to risk it. Thanks chazz.

The beta is already out (unofficially) and you can already try it, there are instructions in other threads. So I guess it is not very far from official release.
I'd rather wait, the most exciting part of update is the waiting. Once you get it and find out there is no major upgrade, not to mention few features from previous version are probably gone, it'll lose its charm pretty quickly.
LG is testing the beta pie firmware for LG V20 F800L in South Korea.

Thank God! Finally a reason to keep using my v20!!! This is a great news? Thanks!?
Now that is a big surprise when they did announce not that long ago that support for the G5 and V20 had ended.
I'm chalking this up to me emailing LG last week asking about android updates.
You're welcome fellow V20 users.

In the pursuance of providing LG mobile users the most updated software and features, releasing Android Updates to different LG devices that will be compatible to the software will definitely be taken into consideration, *****.
However, this update would still be discussed by LG, Google Android, and the network carrier as we work system-to-system with them to update the software.
