I want to root my Nexus 9 but I still want to be able to RMA it if there is a problem. (it is still locked and unrooted)
If I unroot and OEM lock the device with Nexus Toolkit what is the message in the bootloader? Will the Device State be Locked or Relocked ( or some other message besides Locked).
it will be all fine mate, just type in fastboot after backing up device, fastboot oem lock or just lock it using the toolkit

for flashing some android os how need bootloader to be unlocked,we need cheek oem unlock on developpers settings,but the problem the phone stuck on logo,so any chance to unlock boot
1- any way to unlock boot with 'oem unlock' uncheked
2- flash android os without unlock boot
I need help, I would like to know how to unlock the Honor 9 FRP because I did the reset and forgot to call OEM repair and now it does not let install anything, do not blink. I need to unlock the FRP because the Bootloader is already unlocked.

Hi XDA,
I wanted to post the sollution I figured out where the fastboot is not unlocking the OEM. For some reason, sometimes fastboot is stuck in a loop. The workaround I found is to first lock the OEM with fastboot and then unlock it.
fastboot oem lock
fastboot oem unlock
This solved my loop.
Basically I have this old pixel lying around and wanted to see if I can get this up and running.Its got its bootloader locked and OEM is off too.After some workarounds its visible in fastboot devices now but looks like I'd need to enable OEM first to unlock the bootloader so I was wondering if there's a way to considering it has no OS and recovery mode is inaccessible as well.
