Hello, I would like to "update" the emojis of my tablet Asus ZenPad 7.0 Z370C Android Lollipop 5.0.2. I know this is possible with root but I will want to know if there is any way that I need to root my tablet. I have FlipFont on my tablet and I saw that I could change the appearance of emojis through this.
Advices?
Thx for your help

The files that you need to modify to change emojis are system file , so you require root to modify them.
But some OEMs make apps with some that can modify this without root ( like Samsung etc).
Flip Font is the app for Samsung devices , but I don't think it will work on others devices. But you can always give it a try.
My advice is to root your device with magisk and install the magisk module called EmojiOne, this will update your emojis to Android Oreo

Hi, have to push this topic, I am having the same problem (Note 4).
Anyone having a solution?
With Android 6 Google filled the system partition. You will have to make room. Please follow the rules before posting. This has been talked about everywhere for the past year.
Hi everyone,
I had rooted my devices since my Galaxy S2. And I always wanted to be rooted for... you know... kind of stuff.
Well, today, I had take back my XPERIA Z3, and wanted to have a "real" Stock ROM, even without TWRP and root. DAMN, that's difficult to have haha.
I want this because of some game which required SafetyNet ****.
And now, I just want one thing, change my old Android Emoji to the new one, or the EMOJIONE project.
So, I just wanted to know if it's possible via some computer software (like ADB maybe?) to change some file without root. (aka emoji here).
Thanks a lot,
Edit: Or if you also have a method to have the new Google Emoji, I also accept that

Sorry but deep down you already knew the answer to your question even before you asked it.
Yes I knew, but only with my own knowledge.
Maybe there is a new method or something else.

Why no one replay
don't search i'm tired from searching & trying with my bootloopning f600l
i learned 2 things 1 never buy lg phone without 1 million people confirm it will not bootloop
2 never update to latest android os if you don't guarantee root access
No unlock bootloader, no root since MM. It's not the end of the world but life could be better with it, say enable AptX on this phone. If something you'd like to achieve feel free to share, in case there is a rootless workaround that comes close.

you talkied about APTX what is it that .. and show me the solution
so as i see here .;there is no root for this phone now or any soon future
Nope, don't feel too bad, there's nothing much you can do these days with root unless custom ROM is your thing or you're on stock ROM closed to AOSP , which not including LG UX. Trust me, I have rooted device which is Asus Zenfone 3. My banking app won't open due to security risk of being rooted. You can try virtual xposed with at least few usable mods, but LG V10 getting warm due to Virtual Xposed running in the background, so I gave it up.

Obviously I want that sick galaxy skin for fortnite. I know there is a way to make your device show up as something different but does that require root? It doesn't have to be permanent, just active while I turn on fortnite.
You can spoof your phone but it does require root
How do I spoof my hauwei p20 pro to an s9 or note 9 I have twrp magisk and installed

That probably won't work as you won't have access to the Galaxy Apps store
Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
ofc there is a way to do it and it's quite easy but I'm not going to tell you because it's a literal 30 second google search away, you didn't need to create a thread
I might a lot of hate for bunping this but i need answers.

Just did this and installed the fortnite installer but it said device not supported
Fortnite for Android is built in ARM64 (armV8) code however NoxPlayer or any other emulator runs on armeabi-v7a (armV7) architecture so it is incompatible.
In order to spoof the device to make it look like something else you have to root the device and edit the build.prop file.
It is also true that you can find this using a Google Search. I would suggest those who have rooted and wish to spoof a device do some reading on what they need to do. It isn't that hard but to find what lines that need to be edited (and with what to use for the edit) in the build.prop will depend on what you want to spoof the device as.
There isn't any other way to make this happen without having rooted the phone. In the case of Snapdraon Galaxy S9+ owners there is no root method so you can't spoof your phone to be another. For Exynos Galaxy S9+ users follow the tutorials on the forum.
Keep in mind that if your wanting to spoof the device just for a skin you also have the risk of tripping the knox counter and all the related consequences.
to my understanding the skin was only available to preorders anyways
Does anybody have a good experience changing font using ifont or zfont on unrooted stock? We all know we can't rely on smart world since most of available fonts look cheap and stupid. On the other hand, I really try to avoid bootloop due to customization. So, waiting for your feedback on this, thanks.
Try Zfont
.. it's actually the best and doesn't cause any bootloops, it's been updated so I don't think you even need to reboot your device when a new font comes. It works in unrooted and rooted devices.
It only support Samsung ,Huawei ,oppo ,vivo xiaomi and realme devices.,..so if your phone isn't among the list then I guess you have to root your phone like I did .
