Can't seem to locate post w/ 900P baseband downloads anymore - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Is it gone? I found the 9005 version but no sprint 900P. There used to be an entire list of AP, CSC, modems, etc. I had contributed some time ago but I cannot find it any more. I need to try to find the PL1 baseband for a Sprint note 3 I'm bringing back from the dead. I tried to extract from a stock firmware but I cannot seem to find it in there. Or more than likely I'm too rusty to remember how.
Thanks much,
Dave

[STOCK][ODIN][GB][Bell] To revert back to stock for OTA ICS in May (hopefully...)

Good morning!
These are Odin-flashable .tars of the stock Bell system, boot, recovery, and radios and can be used to revert to stock for he upcoming OTA update of Ice Cream Sandwich. I've been using DAGr8's ICS alpha 2 for a while now and have found that some Canadian-specific apps will not install, and although his ROM is excellent, I'd like to try the stock Bell ICS when it comes out.
Files Available
NB: All files are zipped to save space. Please extract the .tar before flashing via Odin.
pda-odin-bell-stock.zip - This .tar contains stock system.img.ext4, stock recovery.img, and stock boot.img and can be used to mostly restore your Note to stock by flashing it via Odin's pda option. However, flashing this .tar via Odin will increase your flash counter so if you're interested in resetting the counter, check out the next file.
pda-odin-bell-stock-system-boot.zip - This .tar contains the stock system.img.ext4 and stock boot.img and can be used to assist in resetting your flash counter using braway's method. Flash it via Odin's pda option. The recovery.img has been removed to preserve CWM if you've already flashed it to your phone. Once your flash counter has been reset, you can then return recovery to stock via this method using just the recovery.img file in the archive here.
phone-odin-bell-stock-radio.zip - This .tar contains the stock Bell modem/radio and is flashed via Odin's phone option. Not working correctly. Working on fix. My apologies.
Bell-Modem-CWM.zip - This .zip is made by pterry30 from the modem/radio files in my .tar and works perfectly. Just flash via Clockworkmod recovery. I'll keep working on a way to get the Odin .tar to work though.
SkyDrive Folder containing all Bell Files - All above Bell files can now be found in this SkyDrive folder. Provider changed since my public DropBox links keep being suspended to due to excessive bandwidth traffic.
The stock Bell kernel can be obtained from this thread thanks to Da_G. Flash via Odin's pda option.
Disclaimer
I am in no way responsible for any damages caused to your Note by anything you flashed. These files are provided as is to help Bell Note owners return to stock after whatever they've done to their phones.
History
These stock files were pulled from two different Bell Notes so we could get everything we were looking for unmodified. marshals pulled the system.img.ext4, boot.img, and radio files from his Note after replacing recovery with CWM. I pulled the recovery.img and flash counter data from my Note after flashing a rooted AT&T kernel. The files were then prepared in an Ubuntu Virualbox into .tar, then checked in Odin for errors by loading them into the program. No errors were reported. These files have not yet been flashed to a Note as I'm still playing with DAGr8's ICS alpha 2 and only have the one device.
Special Thanks
marshals for pulling the system.img.ext4, boot.img, and radios from his Note.
braway for taking my constant questions and providing much needed guidance in my first developer-ish project as well as for the flash counter reset.
Da_G for the stock Bell kernel, instructions on using Odin, and indirectly showing me how to use the Linux terminal.
pterry30 for packaging the stock modem/radio files into a CWM-flashable .zip.
Please post your experiences with these stock Bell files below and if you have any questions, I'll do my best to help. Enjoy!!

The easiest way to do it for me on att note was to just flash the bootloader and flash a GB ROM in ClockWork Recovery

Sounds easy enough, but would that allow us Bell Note owners to get OTA updates from Bell?
Great thread!......Would like to see a thread like this for our Telus i717D Note's !

If you know at least one person with an unmodified Telus Note, I would be more than happy to do the same for you. Two people would be better, but we can get most from one.
I can provide the telus stock recovery, stock modem and stock kernel, all cwm zips

I have a stock rom that is rooted, I am working on removing the root to make a totally stock odin flash, Braway is helping me out with that.
Just PM me a link to these files and I'll see what I can do about making them Odin-flashable. Would love to be able to make it easier for people to revert back to stock if they want. Also, if you need any help with the stock system.img, don't hesitate to ask.
This helps a lot thanks!

I do not know how more people have not said thanks to this!! This is amazing, thank you so much for your contributions. God bless.
Just wondering if the stock Bell radios above are the same ones as in your original thread? I carrier unlocked my phone after I rooted it. Don't know if that might have had any bearing on why I couldn't get the radios to flash with Odin. Everything else flashed back to stock and has been working fine - great work as I said before! And for all I know, I may still have the stock radios already on my Note. I can't say whether anything that I may have flashed in rooting/unrooting it would have replaced them and I'm not sure how to check. Anyone know?
Looking forward to OTA ICS soon, thanks again!
Will we need a 0 flash count, and stock recovery for the OTA update?

So surprised
Its shocking that the stock image of the Telus Galaxy Note isn't anywhere on this site. Kinda has me worried ... Where are all the Canadian developers?

I understand that a thread like this just needs to be done, but I'm having trouble understanding why people would do this?
I mean, if you're switching back then you're obviously rooted and you probably like to use custom roms, why not wait till someone comes out with a solid, stable, better custom version of ics based on the official release?
Unless you're trying to resell or don't trust the rom's security integrity, why not wait?

I did it as a safety net for myself in case I messed something up. Additionally, the ROMs available currently are all based off AT&T software, and I wanted the option to return to Bell stock to get ICS OTA when it is released. I've been using DAGr8's ICS alpha II on my Note for a while now, but today I returned to stock because I was having too many FC's, too much lag, and problems downloading some Canadian specific apps. His ROM was excellent, but based off leaked AT&T code.
I guess I did this for my own benefit and for those who wish to return to stock at any given time. If you don't want or need it, you don't have to use it, but some people are very appreciative to have these files and I am happy to have helped them.

Damn, I just bought my TELUS Note a couple of days ago. First thing I did was root it and restore most of my apps from my Desire Z Titanium backup. I do have a CWM backup right after I rooted it, though. Would that help?

T mobile U.S. Galaxy S stock ROM Odin flashable?

so i got ahead of myself and used The Galaxy S 3 Toolkit, and flashed a cwm.tar without realizing it was carrier specific. so now i'm stuck in black screen limbo until i A: find the stock t mobile rom flashable by Odin(i can still get into download mode and communicate with Odin) or B: find/create a .tar with a compatible boot.img/kernel.
i found https://github.com/sgs3/SGH-T999V_Kernel
i think it was the boot.img that screwed the pooch when i flashed the cwm.tar
i also found http://androidromupdate.com/2012/06/...-4-i9300bole5/
but no U.S. yet
so does anyone know if/where/when the U.S specific Stock ROM will be available. i have 14 days to exchange this thing.
SGH-T999 Source code has been released:
You might find yourself a fix here:
opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=search&searchValue=SGH-T999V
Found via: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/galaxy-s-iii-sgh-i747-and-sgh-t999-source-code-released/
So the source gets you what, exactly?
I've downloaded both V and sans V and they're both just the source. Are you saying the only way to build an Odin recoverable is to compile from source? If that's the case, and I have the sdk installed, how would one do that? I don't even know how to compile for android, let alone get the right compilation for modem/phone/csc.
I'm still scared. It's never coming out.
We need leaked from for Odin PDA stock. There is a .tar to fix it its in the other forum.

Galaxy note 2 889v windmobile roms

I'm not sure if this is where to post this but I can't find another forum related.
So I had the pleasure of bricking my note 2 889v (Canadian variant of the tmobile model). Apparently it was caused from the multiple times I flashed the American modem from which ever custom rom I was trying out, then back to the Canadian wind mobile modem.
I found a guy that could unbrick my phone and after he was done I was back up and running on the stock rom 4.1.1
I really want to get back to a custom rom again cuz they are just better but I am afraid of bricking my phone again. Are there any roms out there that won't effect my modem and just load the rom? I know "myrom" might be a answer but I figure I would get some feedback before proceeding.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

Need help with some phone info

I am currently running a G900A (AT&T branded galaxy S5 with locked bootloader) i am in the process of buying a used S5 but not sure if the bootloader is locked. Here is the phone info that the guy provided to me.
Sm-g900f , g900fxxu1anc9 , 4.4.2
Like i said I'm on AT&T S5 so i am not familiar with the F models and i know T Mobile is the T models but didn't know if anyone knows anything about these phones cause I'm wanting to flash some T Mobile roms. Any info would be much appreciated.
Is it rootable through towel root? Can i use TWRP or CWM with this device. It is carrier unlocked and he is using it on T mobile (gsm) so I'm guessing it will work on AT&T since they uses GSM as well. Thanks for any help.
That's the international version. So should be fine. I'm not sure about lte bands.. U will have to check that info out. The phone should work fine though.
The g900f is probably the most desired s5.. As its not carrier branded.
If I had to choose one I'd get either it or the g900t (T-Mobile)

Ok thanks. I got lucky and found it for $200. The only thing that worries me is that since it's not carrier branded can they report it stolen in any way after i buy it and have the IMEI blacklisted. Normally I'd just meet at the phones carrier store and have everything documented but not sure how to go about it without it being carrier locked.
I'm not sure about that. You can ask for the imei number and check it on swappa.com
If it comes back clean that may alleviate some of your worries

Well i finally found me a G900T. Gonna pick it up around 5 today. Can't wait to see what version is on it so i can get it rooted and find me a good rom to go along with it. Any recommendations?
Muniz stock rooted and debloat a bit if you want stock touchwiz. Or.. If you want more plain android, aosp, try cm12.1 currently in nightly stages but I think its stable enough for daily driver.
Some ppl like twisted Lolipop....

Ok i got the phone, so now onto rooting. Do i need to take it down to 442 to root it can i root straight from 5.0 thanks for the help getting me started
U can root from there.
Find a guide. Make sure you use proper files. (Measure twice cut once)
Do not update to of6 threw normal ota updates or flash the factory of6 firmware as it can't be downgraded I think. If you want to goto the latest which is of6 follow muniz guide
Take your time make no mistakes.
I would recommend installing a custom recovery. Twrp. After that you can easily move back and forth to whatever roms you want, trying different ones.

The sickness did a thread under general where he explains how to root 5.0. It's using chainfire's root method for 4.4.2. Which also works for 5.0. That's the method I used to root my 900T a few days ago. You flash it in odin.

Yea i found it thanks for the info though. I've got it rooted and twrp installed. Downloading lolliozop right now. I've been wanting to try that one. I'll get the sim unlock code tomorrow from T mobile and should be up and running then.
Well i ran lolliozop for a few days but couldn't figure out a lot of the color issues with the black on black and white on white etc. Great looking rom but i just couldn't figure it out. I'm back on TMS 3.0 now and love it. I'm running the KT kernel but still haven't figured out what to change or a good setting for it. Anyone else running this kernel and could give a little advice on how to set it would be greatly appreciated.

S9+ Sprint to Unlocked?

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S9+ that was originally on Sprint, but I unlocked it with them after paying it off and moved to a different carrier (Mint Mobile.) However, it is still full of the sprint bloatware and always prompts for carrier updates that never work. I'm assuming this is because it is trying to get Sprint stuff still?
I was thinking of flashing to the unlocked rom, but I am a bit puzzled with this phone. It seems tricker than other phones I've flashed. I've flashed all my other android phones previously, but I'm nervous and don't want to brick this device by flashing the wrong file! Can someone point me in the right direction, please?
Model: SM-G965U
Software Version: G965USQS3BRK3
Hardware Version: REV1.1
Thanks in advance!!

Mine didn't... We left sprint about 4 months ago and it still has all the sprint bloatware and the splash screen, etc... I can't get it to go away! Sprint confirmed the device is completely unlocked on their end.
I thought it was going to switch firmware automatically with the new SIM but it didn't.

I have seen phones to that. I tried metro PC's and some Sprint stuff stayed on my S8 at the time. Then when I when back to Sprint some metro stuff stayed. I even put a vzw Sim into it and vzw stuff stayed to. Even the unlocked S9 gets the bloadware when you add your Sim. It sucks

You could flash the U1(factory unlocked) firmware ending in 3ARK5. It was recommended to me to use the one with product code XAA, which I guess is purely carrier-free. When you flash it you'll want to use the patched Odin and use CSC rather than HOME_CSC, so that it will fully wipe your phone and set everything all up to work properly according to your sim card.
@YrrchSebor, I couldn't find 3ARK5/XAA. I did find 3ARJ5/XAR here:

I actually flashed over from Verizon over a month ago, and I got a string of OTA updates up to ARJ6, but for some reason I got no update to ARK5, so I just flashed it manually. The main thing is to use a firmware with the same bootloader version, which you have by chosing one with a 3. I will say I couldn't be happier since switching to the unlocked firmware.
Ok, thanks! I'll give it a try this evening since you've already had success with that version.
I have Odin3 v3.12.3. Would you mind sharing the Odin version you used? I want to make sure I don't mess up this device.

Hmm, that Odin might be an official one? You want the one with patcheD in the file name, looks like you can get it in the first post here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572
Reason for this is that official Odin will not flash a firmware that doesn't match up with what is already on the phone, so the patched version ignores that check.
Awesome. I'll download that one, then.
Thanks again for your help!
Sounds good, good luck and keep us posted.
Sorry, one more question to clarify- should I just clash the CSC or would you recommend I do BL, AP, and CP as well?

No problem, you'll wanna do all of them. Definitely AP because I believe that's the system with the apps(or lack of) and everything else. I did all four of them and that way my phone is fully as if it was a U1 out of the box.
Sweet. And I should just leave USERDATA blank right? So it is a complete factory reset?
Yep, you won't find a userdata in that download anyway. Just use CSC instead of HOME_CSC and it should all be good. Back anything up first if you really need it later. after the flash it will boot up and then shut down again so that it can configure everything according to your sim, so make sure and let that happen.
Success! Working better than before now. Thanks for your help.
Arright, glad you got it working, enjoy! One of my favorite things about the unlocked firmware has got to be the free built-in caller ID
