Hey brother really great rom so far it runs really fast and smooth! Just one question, i love the always on option and I checked it in the havoc settings as well as ambient display and I dont see always on working? Is there something else I need to do to get it working? Thanks again for a great rom!
Nevermind got it working
Too many options - sticking on this one
I never thought I would say this but there are too many build options for this device. I have a few favorites, including Havoc, RR, CRDroid, and MSM Xtended but find myself trying others, only to find either nothing new or include issues addressed long back in ROMs I favor. I don't know why folks feel the need to build the same code, and maybe change colors or the boot logo but I wish more bright minds would focus on a few of the good options, already in play. Another pet peeve, while I am whining, are release note/comments that say "fixed stuff, and things I forgot". i know, I know, beggars can't be choosers, but where is the pride, man!
Great job with the Havoc option! Excellent (complete in my mind) options, and super stability. I think that RR has a few more tweaks but the additions are not interesting enough to ignore some of the minor issue I have found.
I wish that some bored tech nerds would take the time to build a table that lists all features/options on each posted ROM and checks off those that actually work or bring value to the overall experience. I would do this (I am a nerd) but don't have the time.
Sorry for the soapbox but loving this ROM!
Yeah I agree, I dont know why this rom is not more popular,,,it literally has more options, the best battery life, and the fastest one out of all of them and believe me I have tried them all. There is a option for fingerprint swipe for notifications just hope that gets implemented in a future update that would be so sweet!

Only thing that i didn't like is android p look i wish i can have oreo look like old havoc builds.
I was like that at first but, then I ran this for a day or so and really liked the new P changes. It will be coming so might as well adopt it now. I like the side volume indicators and the my Substratum themes run fine on them which I thought there would be problems with the new layout. If they find a way to add swipe for notification then I will be really glad I didnt hold on to my Pixel phone. That is the only feature that I really liked on it.

Oh okay cool,,,no worries just saw the option there and thought it was possible. Also, I think the lockscreen settings with regard to text weather sizing resets after a reboot. I will do more testing to make sure.

This ROM is very good, beautiful, light and fast.
I just had two problems (which prevent me from being in it now):
1 settings> screen does not open (settings force close)
2 could not put root (neither by magisk, nor addonsu, nor supersu) was in infinite looping.
And sorry for the English (google translator).
Okay, just finished installing it, everything seems to be working for the moment.
Feels fast and neat. I just hope the battery life is good too
Thx for your work dev, much appreciated.

Can't wait to try so much customization!
Looking good.
I've been searching for a stable ROM to switch from stock. Looks like this is the one.
Thank you for your time and development of this ROM!
One question tho. Can you explain more about the "HardCore kernel" and can I flash ElementalX kernel instead?

Hardcore Kernel: Thread Link, best explained here.
I only use kernels built inline with my ROMs, so I don't know if EX (or any other) will work or not. That you'll have to try at your own risk to find out.
This 6p is my only phone, so I will go on the safe rout.
Thanks again
Thanks ??

Ok, thanks. And that reminds me (I can't believe I forgot!) Don't use the reboot QS tile to reboot recovery, it will force a Factory Reset and you'll lose your data if you don't turn the phone off in time. Crap, can't believe I forgot to post that!!

Better wait little more to download this ROM.. Maybe you forgot something else...
But next release I will jump on the boat :good:
Thx for your time you put into this and thx for sharing
Thanks for your job...
One question, could you add the mod to turn on the flashlight with long press on the power button ??
Thank you.
Would it be possible to add a way to disable the battery saver color change and the camera gesture vibration?
Thanks for the great looking ROM.

IKR! That's the only major issue, I've had this ROM installed on my 6P for the last 5 days. I'm going to run the risk today and try to get a log on the reset thing, may end up just pulling the tile.

That feature should be implemented in the future, I've already brought it up to the FireHound ROM team.

I would just disable the QS tile in case someone mash it by accident. Also what adjustment did you do on the stock camera? For future updates, can we dirty flash or will that update be done via the essentials app?

Thx.. Then I will wait for your news in this regard... Btw rom is downloading anyway...3 little questions :
1. Is unlink ring and notification tones included?
2. Is long press power for torch present?
3. I believe caffeine and partial screenshot are available?

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not, I say again: DO NOT!, use the QS tile to reboot recovery, it will force a Factory Reset, rebooting system works fine, but recovery is still derped.

Screw'd was created to be a more optimized and speedy ROM for Nexus & Pixel devices. We combine the best features with a slimmed down base to give you one of the fastest, feature-filled ROMs available. Screw’d is updated, compiled, and tested daily to ensure that we use the latest, stable code base straight from AOSP (Android Open Source Project). This means that we stay up-to-date with Google’s security patches and features, and we’ll never add code that isn’t required. We also post ALL of our source code so you can see all of the changes we make, and even compile Screw’d yourself. Although Screw’d was originally created for Nexus devices in mind, it is possible to port our ROM to work with other devices. As proof, we have ported Screw’d to non-Nexus devices such as the OnePlus 5.

Great build... Thanks a lot dev... For bringing another rom for potter.. Spending your precious time on working for the development of rom.
This ROM is looking & running really nice so far, have just installed & setup but with no issues at all. You should mention the KCAL support in default kernel, and I also greatly prefer the stock/square-or-default-shape icons. Never thought I'd be this glad to get screw'd!
Very nice ROM still didn't find any issues working very well thanks dev
awesome job on putting omniswitch into this; afaik, this is the only rom other than omni that has it!
has anyone tested microg on this? also, my nano or higher on the gapps?

I'm using the micro 20180423 gapps with no issues, but don't use microg. Where is omni switch? I don't see any icon and can't find it in the custom settings. I'm using Lawnchair launcher though, so if it's part of the Pixel launcher that would explain why I can't.
Anybody having BT calling issues? I haven't flashed yet but want to try this out but that is important to me. If anybody tries please give feedback. Thanks in advance

I haven't flashed yet, so I'm not sure... I just noticed it listed under "Recents" in the info section... perhaps it's in Screw'd's custom settings?

No, omniswitch is not there yet but it may be planned to add in the future, maybe OP can say. I haven't compared everything else on the features list but believe most of it is available in the current version.

Yeah, just flashed and can confirm omniswitch is nowhere... irritating because that's the reason I flashed. Looks like it's back to Omni...
Can't receive or make calls!!!
I'm retired & mainly use my land line but noticed today that incoming cell calls weren't ringing but going straight to voicemail, then when trying to call vm the call immediately ends, and trying a couple other outbound calls the same thing happens. Restored my Validus backup and all calling is working fine with the same exact setup. It may be something just affecting me or a bad install, but are others able to make/receive calls ok?
EDIT: Problem solved by resetting preferred network type to Global, had changed it to LTE.

I have seen this issue with the ROM, as well. I clean flashed and mobile network was not working (att). I restarted and the network came back. You may want to try that. Once working, it seems to be stable.

Had the exact same issue as you, was traveling at the time and my data just crapped out. Couldn't reconnect even after reboot, only changing roms fixed the issue. US unlocked 64GB variant and cricket wireless.

I found the problem which was self-inflicted - under preferred network type I had changed it from Global to LTE (usually there is a different short 3-choice list there where I always select LTE) thinking it was set incorrectly, so after reselecting Global my cell calling works fine. Actually my cellular data was working well despite that wrong setting yesterday while I was out, but I didn't use it for very long.

Not here - made no cellular setting changes. After first boot, radio icon was empty and calls/texts were not possible. WiFi was fine. I cold booted phone and all is well, since.

first of all Thnx for you and and your time for making Rom for us....What about battery performance in this rom????
I m on now small ui 18.1version ...its battery backup is amazing compare other rom...All roms are fantestic...but in this rom Battery backup is very very good

Great ROM - thank you
Found only one little bug: In Havoc-Settings - System toggle isn´t working
Very good ROM gcam is working very well the only ROM I find not to have dark video recording. The only thing I found is that carrier label not displaying even though it is enable.
I can't find focus fix switcher.
In the curtain there is no button in the settings.
Good to lots of customisation thank for that,
But after including gapps lacks laggines mainly on
Apps minimisation while switching one app to another app ,
And need more performance. But ram management excellent
Which one is better, Aosp Extended or Havoc OS?

I love them both but haven't tried the recent aex 5.4 but Im liking this one more because of a bad experience with playstore not showing GTA games and other apps when I search them, since this is new based of latest lineage it show everything as it should and has a bit more customizations.

Can't confirm because under havoc settings theres a tab that says "system" but when i try to open it just takes me back to regular system setting. Might be because im using f2fs idk or just a bug.

Thank you very much for another rom
Don't know how much time it's supposed to take to boot, but it's been 30 min and i'm still at boot animation. Don't think it's looping either because i can see some dropped frames from time to time.

*confirmed*
that worked, if stuck on initial boot just restart your phone and it will work! thanks.
what version of google camera is included.
I'm just happy to see a new rom to try out. Instead of asking which version of apps the dev included, why not ask something sensible like, "What is the Square Root of a Round Object?" Now, THATs a decent question. Thanks @AnierinB
Nice rom! Rom itself is really good smooth and i'm liking the fact you got the android p inspired theme going on nice thought to put that in. Just got one question though how come when you boot up the phone the loading animation goes from buttery a smooth animation to super laggy. I've noticed when you restart the phone you have to restart the phone AGAIN to get into the phone not a huge deal but it would be worth fixing in the next update. Overall this rom is really good! Keep it up Dev
Thank you to the developers for this great rom, i have a question: Does anyone know how to install magisk? Or is not necessary?

You don't need magisk to use this rom. If you want it just flash the magisk zip from twrp. You can download magisk from it's respected xda thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Thanks for your reply, I have flashed it from twrp but I have no root access. And the root selection in developers is grayed out

I hope there's no volume issue with this ROM and phone call details are automatically updated?
Speakers works, but only the bottom one. Everything is fine, running smooth

Super smooth..
The only issue I've seen so far is with the phone list not updating automatically after series of outing and incoming calls unless I navigate to call history.

Probably I may have missed a setting or something.
PS: I realized that when I exit the phone app and open it again, that's when the phone call list gets updated ...

welcome bro ☺
After testing some 10 roms, I like this one, really stable and smooth, with many tweaks
I have to question, is it possible to add shortcuts in lockscreen, and is it possible to have messages notifications in "always on" mode, the same screen when your screen is almost off ?
Thanks as always for your effort amir
