Previous one I was using Resurrection Remix, Damn good ROM but RR team not announced N ROM so I've tried nearly all available N ROMs and stick with Nitrogen....

I think I will do the same. I have been following your posts and trust your opinion. It is weekend so I should be able to get it set up for the workweek ahead. Needs to be good as my daily driver. I am a perfectionist! Are you using the build in root and kernel?

I personally changed to supersu and elite kernel, but heard great things about flash kernel so I might switch, I highly recommend the rom

Friend Ready to Get Nitrogen For Your Angler..
ROM and other Mods Links are in 1st page,
But before flashing you've to need Bootloader,Radio and Vendor images..
I suggest you please Flash all images with Fastboot commands...
Make a full Backup of your Whole Angler including Nandroid backup just in case...
And then start flashing. I highly suggest you Don't restore your EFS partition until you need them.
For Android N you've to need for TWRP 3.0.2.2 or Unofficial TWRP 3.0.2.3..

My two cents is to try the inbuilt root and kernel first, if you don't like it, then flash away.
But I believe you need he latest supersu ran as systemless mode for ad away to work, which you need the ad away system less zip. I can host the zip if you need it.

Actually I love RR but I can't prevent myself to flash N ROMs,After trying a lot I stay with Nitrogen, Because I found Nitrogen has a lot of similarities with RR in terms of Customization, And yes I'll definitely Revert back to RR when @varund7726 announced official build that is coming soon, Because official CM 14 experimental build for OP3 has out and we'll get for Angler soon.
So I think Its good to wait for them who only want RR for Angler..[emoji4]

Take that profile you have (hawk tail) and rename it and delete the .txt part. Then drag that file into the elemental x file on your internal SD card (this is where all profiles go)
Open up elemental x manager, hit CPU, turn on the blue toggles for interactive on the first two options, then hit governor options (I believe its the third option down) once the page opens, hit load at the top right, then scroll down and select hawk tail, then hit apply at boot. Then make sure you find touch boost, it may say disabled or enabled already, you can touch the word touch boost and you'll see it change from enabled to disabled or vise versa, then hit the button power button to the right to activate the disabling.
That should do it. You'll see your CPU sitting lower way more often, saving battery.
If my instructions were unclear, I can upload a step by step with pics here if you need

Just realized that I got so wrapped up in telling you how to set the profile that I didn't answer how the profile is.
Its amazing, no lag, phone never gets hot, battery is at 5 hours screen on time on the lower end, sometimes I can get 7

Until now, all stock ROMS are EUI 5.8 based, and this beta for developers are very stable.
Changelog:
- All chinese apps erased.
- Installed Play Store.
- Installed Google Now and Google Voice Search.
- Contacts and Calendar synchronitazion with Google account.
- Change splash to english boot up text.
- Google boot up animation.
- Some tweaks for better perfomance and battery.
I unistall stock browser, please installl from Play Store your favourite browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

There is another DEV version with some of this feature, and multiview, but very unstable. Yesterday I was working on it.
We will wait a little.

Will it work without applying radio update after flashing ROM on x720? Or radio update is must?
I flashed it. It is very smooth and looks nice. Is there a way to turn off the time in the status bar from acting like a power button? I keep pressing it each time I swipe down for notification lol.

I'm on x727 model but I didn't flash modem/radio and cellular worked for me.

Hi, I flashed this rom on my LEX720, it's pretty good so far no issue. You need to flash the update radio as well, if not sim not detect I think.
Fast, good battery life, some enhancements from last Steve rom I think, just been few days using it, thanks you.

Flashing updated radio is not necessary, radio will work without flashing that too.

hi, thank you but it didn't detect my sim card when it boot first time for setup. I flashed radio and it works, everything is working now so it's ok for me no big deal.

Tez application does not work with custom roms anyhow...nothing you can do.

Root your device using magisk latest version .
Check for safety net . It must pass else u cannot use payment apps like tez
Use magisk hide on ur desired app .
(in case even after Flashing magisk things doesn't work then )
I recommend you to wipe System
Flash rom +magisk +other stuff that u use .
Reboot
Remarks : 1) dont use xposed
2) don't use any pirated crap (don't ask why )
3) flash rom +magisk at the same time .NOT AFTER BOOT .
4) flash magisk modules (if any u use ) after first boot .
5) check for playstore certification

Im on Resurrection Remix oreo on Redmi note 4.. but google assistant is not activating..i have google updated app and as well as a beta user, but when i long press home button google app opens..but not assistant page.. i speak 3 times "Ok Google" but then it does not go to next page and stuck there...any help will be much appreciated.

You should go to Settings>Configurations>buttons>hardware keys>homebutton long press action> set it to Google Assistant rather than search assistant

How to set it to google assistant..there is no option in custom application. My main problem is when voice training after 3 successfull step it did not go to next page like "im in".. it stucked on the page.

I have tried clearing data,it did not work. And i had above nano gapps also..dont know what is the problem..why it stucked on that page!!..even now i cant post any picture..strange

For banking apps to work properly without root you should flash Lineage OS official build (Official Oreo will be out soon)
or Carbon (Oreo builds released yesterday).
Install Lineage if you're fine without customizations and stuff and install Carbon if you want some customizations as it supports substratum and have built-in features.
Both Lineage and Carbon provide good security and if you are a user who use Banking Apps a lot, I suggest you to stick with these.

Banking apps didn't find to work in ROMs with SELinux status as Permissive and official Lineage has Enforcing with all builds signed with private keys. So, I didn't face any issues with any banking apps whether its Tez or BHIM or any other.
Never tried banking apps while using root but magisk hide should have the job done.
So, its tested and I'm damn sure that banking apps work in Official Lineage and Carbon (but without root).

It is for both, in the aroma setup you can specifie the version of RN3 that you have
This a Global rom or not?
Can anyone tell me review of this rom?
Actually i found that extra settings by miuipro not works. (I.e. animations,corner radius, and other tweaks)
Is there any brightness fix for this ROM...? Can't change the brightness...

This is china port, dont download waste your 1.7gb data. Lots of bug like lags, poor memory mngt and brightness is totally buggy even manually does not work

1. brightness bug
2. Reading mode bug
3. round corners, hide apps from launcher, LTE to 4G icon
animations bug, smart network module bug
4. Quick ball absent
5. hardly goes into deep sleep with stock kernel
6. Aroma not in English. Replacing with aroma.config gave zip error
7. Few apps are still chinese including browser
FPC finger print working in both app lock and screen lock
double tap to sleep working
magisk and xposed working - have to install seperately
custom fonts app present
3rd party themes working for my theme
so basically settings doesn't saves or reapplies few changes during runtime or forgets on rebooting. May be a smaller bug. i might used it as daily driver.
from where did you get this port? any forum?

Absolutely bad version, useless, bootloop and TWRP touch stops responding. I had to use only OTG mouse to install again Stable ROM.
Edit: Updated, bootloop has been fixed.

Not yet TWRP for Developer ROM... OrangeFox need to be update. Or use OTG mouse in current TWRP.

why is the Developer Rom version 9.12.x behind the Global 11.0.11? What's the difference between them?
Is the camera app on the dev rom better?
