it seems there is 2 point multi touch coming to the Big X10.. I did see heaps of updated Bluetooth drivers in there too.. but that could just be connected with ANT, unless you are a huge fitness freak I don't think its going to be anything exciting..

Yeah, we're due another update over the next few weeks. This was supposed to hit our phones in December but the delay pushed it back a month. Knowing SE, the update we received in November was really android 2.0 and the one we are about to get contains an actual 2.1 rom.
can we root the new update?
i think they may release the boot loader with so that they stop workin on x10's and concentrate on going to be released droid's

Nah.. knowing SE the update we got in December was 2.1 and they are going to roll us back to 1.6 because Rickard thinks that their 1.6 is better than stock 2.1

Wrong again.. this is just 2.1 with ANT support. (no where near as exciting as Dual touch trust me)

J aimerais savoir si le X10 Mini ( que j ai en ma possession ) sera un jour multitouch.
En effet, j ai trouvé quelque information sur internet, mais j aimerais en être sur.
Si j ai bien compris ( et que je suis tombé sur les bonnes informations ), vous ne voulez pas introduire le multitouch sur ce téléphone car cela nuirais a l expérience du " tout avec un doigt".
Je trouve ce genre de propos un bête, car en enlevant cette fonction, vous nuisez vous même a l expérience des utilisateur :
Je m explique, j ai un Ipod Touch, et depuis je suis devenu accro au jeux sur smartphone. Malheureusement, le faite que vous n introduisiez pas le multitouche a votre téléphone rend l expérience du jeu inconfortable ( pour ne pas dire impossible ) !
Avez vous essayé de joué avec un doigt ? Il faut être très fort niveau timing !
Donc j aurais aimé avoir une information précise a ce sujet, et dans le cas de non multitouch, je pense que je changerais tout simplement de téléphone ( d une autre marque bien sur !)
Temps que j y suis, j ai une autre question :
Allez vous autorisé la lecture a distance de la PS3 depuis ce téléphone ?
Cette fonction aussi m intéresse, car je possède une PS3 + le play TV; et le fait de pouvoir mettre des film a enregistré depuis son téléphone ( quand on est pas présent chez soit ), est une fonction très intéressante, je trouve.

Normaly, when you swich for your backup, you change your rom and your kernel, you have a official rom in your phone, the custom recovery in more
Just look in téléphone version what is write for are quiet
Normalement, quand tu reviens sur un backup, tu reinstalle la rom et le kernel d'origine, le recovery en plus
Tu as juste a vérifier la version de ton téléphone pour etre tranquille

Sorry for the MultiPost but I have taken the plunge, I made the backup backup in case of concern, and went back under my enciens kernel here is the result:
- Version android 2.2
- Version kernel 2.6.32.9 @ lg-electronics-if-build120 RD10 # 1
- Build number: FRF91
- Software version: V10a-SEP-25-2010
V10a because ct for ROOT
And especially the LG software for the updates to regain therefore V20e version 2.3.3

DESOLE pour le multipost mais j'ai franchi le pas, j'ai fait le backup sauvegarde en cas de souci, et je suis retourné sous mon enciens kernel voici le resultat :

Hello(I'm french, sorry for my bad English),
A friend gave me the Galaxy S2 because it would not start at all (he stayed on Galaxy S2 GT- I9100G) he did not have the recovery or download, I test everything JIG USB and something with OMAP something like that, it did not work in the end I managed to do it again walk the disassembling and the right back and it works, mystery... Anyway this is not the problem.

I heard about "Galaxy S2 Camera Firmware Update" to update the firmware of the camera app, I try to download an apk because I can not find my happiness on the Samsung Apps, unsuccessfully it live plant launch (the fact of being in JB ? incompatible?). Un ami m'a passé son Galaxy S2 car il ne demarrait plus du tout (il resté sur Galaxy S2 GT-I9100G) il n'avait plus le recovery ni download, j'ai tout tester, JIG USB et un truc avec OMAP je sais plus trop quoi, sa n'avait pas fonctionné, au final j'ai reussi a le refaire parti en le démontant et remontant juste et voila, mystère... Bonjour, je cherche à actualiser mon archos G9 101 turbo (1Gb Ram, 1x1.5Ghz, 8Go).
Sur le site archos, la version s'arrête à la 4.0.28 mais j'ai vu sur votre forum que certains installent des 4.3.1 et même 4.4.2.
Je voudrais savoir quelle version la plus récente fonctionne sur mon archos sans problèmes.
Je suis Français et débutant sur android donc si vous pouvez m’expliquer clairement la procédure d'installation de cette version (si possible en Français car la traduction des thermes technique n'est pas facile).
Le Pc pour l'installation est sous windows 8.1.

Archos website stop at version 4.0.28 but I saw on your forum that some install 4.3.1 and even 4.4.2.
I want to know what the latest version running on my archos without problems.
I am French and newbie on android so if you can explain clearly how to install this version (if possible in French because the French translation of technical baths is not easy).
Pc for installation under Windows 8.1.

Je possède une ARCHOS 80 G9 Turbo et j'ai installé la ROM CyanogenMod 4.3.1 après avoir essayé la 4.4.2. Après quelques essais, je trouve que la 4.3.1 est beaucoup plus stable et puis fuilde. Car en effet, j'ai rencontré quelques bugs et des ralentissements sur la 4.4.2 alors que sur l'autre non elle est juste nickel ! Pour l'installation, tu veux que je t'aide ici même ou bien via Skype ?

For me, the latest version that is running without too many problems is the official (but rooted) version of the stock 4.0.7 firmware.
But this is on a G9 80 Turbo Device with only 0.5Gb RAM
Your device may have less problems than mine on later official ROMs and/or custom ROMs

Hello, I just bought M40, and I was so desappointed by the Wifi (around 28mbs). With the help of support, I have upgraded the firmware : it's a lot better but not really fast (110 mbs).
Do you know if there is a better firmware (n9h1 ?) or drivers ? I have the N6H9 now.

Tu as combien de débit au wifi ? Je ne le trouve pas terrible (28 quand je l'ai reçue, et 110-120 avec N6H9)
OK merci pour l'info. On est loin du Wifi AC quand même... je le leur ai fait remarquer. Mais c'est une bonne tablette sinon. J'espère qu'elle durera.
J'ai fait le test de débit sur N9h1 (via browser) : 20 Mbs.
Quand j'ai réinstallé N6H9 : 25 ! J'étais dégouté. J'ai donc réinstallé une nouvelle fois, et c'est revenu à 110-120.
