LG KDZ latest firmware download method - LG V30 Questions & Answers

I found a website to download KDZ. I can get the latest KDZ firmware using the mobile phone IMEI. I want to know how it works.

Im looking for an Oreo KDZ for the LG V30 - Model US/ATT H931, but im having a difficult time finding it. Non of the LG collection sites seem to have it.
Can anyone direct me to the right spot? Thank you.

Have you considered converting to US998 via the Frankenstien method? That is how I got Oreo on (what was) my H931.

If converting the phone is the only solution, i might have to do that. I'll look into the Frankenstien method.

AT&T doesn't release full image KDZ and they won't let LG do it. They only send over the air firmware update, and for those OTA updates you have to be an AT&T customer.
Best to Frankenstein convert to carrier unlocked model US998.

No, I was not having your specific issue, but I was unable to update to Oreo on my H931 I was using on another carrier. I see that you received solid advice from Chazz in that other thread. You should be good to go at this point.
