Hi ,
I was trying to install certain application, but I couldn't because of my android version, so then I rooted my device and I edited configuration file (system/build.prop) with system variables such as API version, android version, name of device etc. First I changed only my android version from 4.3 to 5.1 and I rebooted my tablet and my system was fine, but my application still doesn't open. Then I thought that API version could cause the program to start, so I changed it from 18 to 24, I rebooted tablet and every Google Service was crashing with message "Unfortunately, Google XXX services has stopped"
I was trying to open configuration file again, but it's impossible, because of error messages.
I did force restore android system, but it doesn't restore system configuration files
And I installed app with gives access for editing system files again (i got apk file by usb), but I can't open it.
My tablet: Huawei Mediapad t1 8.0
Thank you for help

Hey Guys,
I am currently trying to modify Instagram.apk using adb transfer to my Android Galaxy S4 i505. The program is Apk_manager and I am on mac os x 10.8.5
My problem is that, after i upload the Instagram.apk, I receive the error
"Incompatible Device. Unfortanatley this device doesnt seem to meet minimum camera requirements. For more infomation please visit http: (space) //bit.ly/igdevices"
I have tried multiple Instagram.apk files of the latest version (5.05) and they say the same.
I have found that if I compile as non-system app and sign with batch file the app will run and work perfectly, however if I want to modify the app I am certain it needs to be compiled as system app.
I then say "yes" to transfer additional files and hit remove resources.arsc and hit enter. Then I press 9 to abd push and file into:
system/app/Instagram.apk
It installs but every time comes up with the error message mentioned above:
(Incompatible Device. Unfortanatley this device doesnt seem to meet minimum camera requirements. For more infomation please visit http: (space)//bit.ly/igdevices[/url])
I know that my device is supported by the app version.
Please help!!!!
Sorry bit of a noob.
Hello,
I recently installed my headunit for my ford focus (seicane: 8-core 1.5GHz T8 A7 CPU, 2Gb RAM, 1024*600, 10.2 inch)
It came with some default apps on it that cant be removed, one of wich is bootanimation, i downloaded the bootanimations app to download some others but it cant replace the bootanimation or get the newly downloaded bootanimations to show up in the bootanimation app, after alot of digging off and on the web i came to the conclusion that my problem is that i don't have acces to the root folder (view only, no write rights). Also in ES file explorer i cant set root permissions.
These are restrictions i do not want to work with, i have tried kingo root apk but that didnt work, the app just crashed and nothing happend when i pressed one click root.
Can anyone help me here on how to be able to overcome all these restrictions set by the manufacturer?
The system also tells me the app to view downloads is disabled (when downloading from google drive), yet when i download a file from chromebrowser i can view it using ES file explorer in the downloads folder.
I made several pics but i can't post external links yet due to new account..
I'll PM them if you need to see them
My headunit runs android version 8.1.0 (oreo),
MCU version: T8.3.19-3-80-043101-180525
System version: V9.3.1_20180518.095309_ACX13
Kind regards
I have an Android music player that’s wanting to update the firmware. It’s an Astell and Kern SP1000 running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, API 23, build MMB29T.
There is no disable updates in the settings. The update is for the players firmware. I don’t believe it’s updating the whole Android OS. I could be wrong.
After firmware 1.16 I am no longer able to install apps Astell and Kern haven’t authorized. So I wouldn’t be able to install a file explorer or other streaming apps I persanly like using. If I knew they were planing on controlling the app so much I’d still be useing a phone with a DAC.
I currently have root by using the King root. I’m able to edit system files. I edited the host file blocking the update server. Yet the player has already downloaded an update and I can’t locate the file to delete it.
I’m constantly receiving the update notice about 10 times a day. The notification isn’t a normal notification. It’s a full screen overlay.
1. I would like to disable updates by altering some system file.
2. Also disable the notification.
3. Locate the FW file and delete it.
Thank you for the help.
Dears,
i've successfully managed to modify with Android Studio library "libtool-checker.so" that is currently used by my Bank App to detect root on devices.
If root is detected , app will not start.
This library is an open source project well known as RootBeer and i'm a little worried about my Bank is using an opensource project (without any mod) to ensure my safety and security
The question is:
My device is on Lollipop 5.0.1 Arm7 processor. Bank App data are stored into:
1 - /data/app/com.bank/base.apk
2- /data/app/com.bank/lib/libtool-checker.so
i'm manually overwriting file 2 with my version and everything works fine.
However after each device reboot, lib file is restored with the original version (extracted from base.apk). I cannot modify lib inside base.apk file because if i change APK signature the app will be installed but will not run (server side check i suppose).
How i can permanently fix this issue?
Thank you very much for your answer.
FransisFor.
Hack signature
You can hack signature first, after you can lib check exchange if you can send hacked files me,please
I have a limited access to the internet so the following question is important to what i can do with android studio.
I had android studio setup and it downloaded a mass of files but it worked and i could build and even deploy a release version. A week later i now get and error saying that it could not download aap2-windows.jar. i then created a blank project and it now says it cannot find transform-api.jar. if this worked before i would assume it should work again. Am i missing a setting or a directory specification where these files are downloaded to or are you destined to keep downloading files every time you create a new project?
