Thought I'd share the latest GMAIL4.2 app
Which I found on xda couple of new features
Pinch to zoom swipe to archive
To install remove/delete existing gmail from system/ apps
Replace with this one set permission 0644 reboot
Sorry guys due to some reasons with android police they have been asked by Google to remove
The gmail4.2 apk from there site so I have removed this .

I thought about it, but seeing this app is signed by Google with a different key it will be problematic for people wanting to update Gmail via Play Store...
BTW I WILL include the new Play Store in gExperience!

I have Optimus L9 p765 and it did not not came Quick translate app from LG installed in it.
So i have extracted this app from ROM made for other versions of P765. Works perfectly as it deodexed.

Hello
I have the LG E975 and apply the rom Pac 4.3.
I lost also this two aplications, that I really used a lot
I download this two files an try to install, but when I run the Diodic it cames the error "file no correct visit http://www.diodic.com for suport"
When I run the quick translator app it opens the camera and fastly close it and appears "Mobile phone model not correct"
Can you help me to fix this ?

This app is the only reason I'm still on stock rom. I use it pretty often to translate Russian to Estonian.
I have successfully installed both apk's however the Dict when I select the free dictionary and download completes then the app crashes.
I am on LG G2 and Cloudy 2.2.
No-one?
This sort of app "google settings" (the green icon in the picture I attached) got downloaded on my phone while browsing this site "movie2k" I think is called and now I can't remove it anyone knows any info about this. Ty in advance.

Perhaps you should ask in the movie2k forums since that type of site is excluded from discussion on XDA.

No, I'm glad you did.
Now everyone who reads this thread knows to steer clear of that site. I certainly wouldn't want anyone installing apps in the background and messing around with my Google settings.

That's interesting.
I've had Google+ installed on multiple ROM's and have never seen that app. And I didn't know that installing one app could automatically install other app(s).

I just flashed my phone i got the same icon on my Galaxy S2. I guess it's a new android thing.
Looks like this might explain it.

Don't you know one apk can add two or more icons for different things? Like camera.apk in sense ROMs adds both camera and camcorder , like just gallery.apk adds gallery+camera on few jellybean. It could have been similar thing with Google+ though its not.
EDIT : I see you edited it yourself.

An icon is one thing, but it was referenced in one of the posts above as a Google+ settings app. It doesn't appear to be that but instead an icon that gives access to the settings in Google Play Services 3.0.
I just cleared data for the "Google Play services" app and now I have the icon in my app drawer.

Thanks for that, I actually have never done that before.
Could someone who has V60 share the system apps please ? Like Pocket Brieffing, Pocket Adviser, Calendar, LG Health, etc. i would be so gratefull for help.
My V60 does not have Pocket briefing, Pocket advisor, and the calendar app is just google calendar

can you make a full backup of the system apps, make a zip and send me? This app can help play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.usage.appbackup , enable it to show the system files please, if not bother you, thank you
At least for the Verizon variant there are only the Google versions of the old system apps. It's really annoying and someone should be taken out and beaten for that. I had to download a file manager and use Nine's calendar because there is only the Google calendar included (and I refuse to use that).
