So I downloaded Phoenix OS for my PC cause I been wanting find something that would turn my PC into an Android more or less. When I installed it and restarted the PC I was able to either load Windows 7 or Phoenix and both were working fine. Well all of a sudden, now when I try to load Windows 7 it takes me to this error screen

I installed the Phoenix OS onto my Hard Drive and I think that is where I messed up. Now I am stuck using only the phoenix OS. Can I do anything to fix this. I dont have my Windows CD or Recovery CD and when I hit System Restore F11 or whatever it is it just sits there froze and does nothing. I went into the BIOS and looked and made sure the Internal Drive was set as the main boot and nothing has changed. Is there anything I can do where I can get my Windows back? If I go to my File Manager on the Phoenix OS it shows that all my files are still on the hard drive so what is the issue??? Anyones help that knows how to fix this would be so so so appreciated as I like Phoenix but didnt wanna get rid of my Windows 7 either. I need help getting Windows back up. I read that I was supposed to partition my drive or some ****. I didn't do that so is that the cause and can I do anything at all to fix this or am I screwed using Phoenix OS until I can buy another Windows CD to do a whole new setup
Your image doesn't load for me but Im gonna take a stab in the dark - something sort of similar happened to me with Remix OS / W7 dual-boot machine. Basically you're gonna have to do some research on fixing your Windows bootloader or GRUB since something probably happened where GRUB removed the option to load into Windows or something like that. Basically your Windows is still there installed on your PC but your bootloader isn't showing it as an option.

i m on windows 8 64 bit.
i tried to install fastboot drivers on it.
i followed same procedure as i did earlier on my win7 64bit..
but this time no success..
i hav toggled signature verification.
i think there should be some different driver for win8 (as drivers for win7 are not working)
so is there somebody having working fastboot drivers for windows 8
Try flashtool its proper working wid drivers on win 8 pro
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app
You should have used the search function. But anyway win 8 as a diferent behavior from win 7. So, google for win 8 test mode. And your problems should be gone.
Good luck
tried drivers that come in flashboot folder & run windows in test mode but nothing could get me working .... :crying:

If it goes in to charging it means that the wrong drivers are instaled (+/-). There was a guide about that here in xda since I had to use that guide too for the same problem. Try to search for it. Cause beside that I dont know how to help you
Good luck
You must do advanced restart in win8 and go to Win without digital signature check...

a few days ago i tried installing remixOS on my USB FlashDisk 3.0(Using a normal way), then i run it on my notebook, it work normally at the first.. I can boot normally to like the others..
Then i try to install play store, then i install clash royale because my connection is slow, then i leave my notebook until it was installed.. When i back, my notebook was in sleep mode..
When i try to wake them, its have blank, black screen.. Then i turn it off with pressed the power for a few second (force turning off).. And then, i try to boot the remixOS again, then it was stuck on the boot and have a text like the pict..
I have tried to re-install them with a same way(not format my USB Flashdisk first) then i try to boot it, it was the same..
I search in google, no one was have a problem like this.. anyone can help me ?
Sorry, bad english..
Hi it's caused by the ota update. Is the pendrive active when it gets stuck there(any blinking led)? Does installing to harddrive work?
Sorry, I can't help you much, mine is installed to hdd but my ota fail too, some time after ui print it will say unexpected file in partition and boots into the old version.

I try install on my hdd too.. i have the same problem.. stuck on that again..
On my notebook i just have 3 LED(Capslock, battery, power)
i install on my hdd with this step :
- make a new partition with FAT32 file system
- copying the .iso file to that partition, extracting that
- using EASYBCD make a boot option for the RemixOS(directing the boot path to the iso in the new partition)
- then restart..
with that step i can use it normally, but after i installing Clash of Clans, the error was "ui_print" too..
And now i installing the RemixOS on my new partition with normally(using installer.exe)
hope it went normally forever after..
if the problem is the OTA update, can i disable it ?
It doesn't seem to obey the setting not to update. Hopefully it works for you with remix installer.
Hi,
I cannot still boot to remix os even after fresh install of the newest version (April 12). This is thr same problem i encounter after downloading the OTA previously. Im still stuck at [email protected]
I can successfully boot on remix when the first beta version on my Acer v5-573G 64bit uefi.
Please help what to do to bypass this error. Thanks!

Does your laptop have NVIDIA graphics? If so you can edit menu.lst (or grub.cfg if it's not there, I'm not sure how it would work for an uefi system) in the RemixOS installation folder and add nouveau.modeset=0 at the end of the kernel ... line.

Trying now but i include i915.modeset=1. Im still waiting if it will boot. Not sure how long it normally stuck on this screen.
May i know what does nouveau.modeset and i915.modeset mean and what does it do?
Thanks

When the root prompt shows up, try typing "rmmod nouveau" (without quotes) and press enter. If that doesn't get you to the desktop then the issue is something else. You might want to try adding i915.modeset=1 along with nouveau.modeset=0 too.
Tried to make it work by just putting nouveau.modeset=0 (press 'e' on boot selection). But booting to my windows broke. Good thing i managed to make it work again by editting the windows params and point it to correct bootx64.efi.
It seems that it was overwritten to remix os bootx64.efi for some reason i dont know.

Yeah, I was running Remix OS just fine with my previous Win 10 installation (Win 10 on C partition and Remix on D)... Then I needed to reinstall Win 10 and it seems like the new installation killed a important file (ubnldr.mbr) and now I get the above screen when I try to boot Remix OS from the Windows boot manager...
So my questions are:
Is there a way of fix it WITHOUT reinstall Remix OS, since my previous Remix OS installation is still there on "D" partition untouched?
What is this "ubnldr.mbr" file?
Can I create this ubnldr.mbr file myself, if yes, what are the contents of this file?
Is this the file that points where my Remix OS installation is?
Thanks.....
Windows on C:\? If so then reinstall Windows from fresh. Don't worry about the D:\ until after you reinstall Windows. After reinstall Windows then go to your Remix OS folder and then rename it to Remix OS backup. Reinstall Remix OS and then delete the new Remix OS folder. Rename the Remix OS backup to Remix OS. Pretty easy to do. You won't lose it.

Thanks for the reply...
Yeah, seems doable that way, but I was looking for a solution that doesn't require reinstallation....
But thanks anyway.... :good:
Cheers...
mbr? Uh oh, sounds like part of the master boot record.
You might be able to find it, but I think it's hardware dependent. I don't know Windows well enough to inform you of anything besides that it's the master boot record. Good luck!
If anyone would be willing to help me troubleshoot the cause of these Hypervisor Errors, I would be eternally grateful. I've never asked anyone to help with this kind of ****, so take it easy on me for not knowing the etiquette.
Anyways, I'm running Windows 11 Pro (Ghost Spectre) from a custom bootable with Partition Master and a bunch of tools to save the rig if the ship goes down, which it usually does not, but I keep trying to get this one back in the win column and failing. Basically, I can run/play anything with no issues, Windows Updates are fine, and I get to the point where I feel comfortable trying to install WSA again, even though after 9 or 10 attempts with fresh installs of Windows (Both legit isos from Insider and the custom), it always crashes the same way.
1. I activate SVM in the Bios (MSI 970a-G43 Plus)
2. I remove the very minimal overclock settings I run before saving and exiting bios en route to first boot with WSA installed
3. Windows hits the desktop, I move the mouse maybe an inch or two (sometimes it takes a second for the bad part)
4. The system is locked up like if you ran 500% disk and cpu it just doesn't register any actions
5. BSOD labeled Hypervisor Error
And the kicker for me is that even with Hypervisor Platform off, and Virutalization Platform on instead, I still get the same Hypervisor Error.
Please harass me for any information, I made cookies. Love you guys. Sorry for the format. XD
I have in addition to having Developer Mode enabled in Windows Settings also both the Virtual Machine Platform and the Windows Hypervisor Platform features enabled and rebooted computer afterwards. Resume: WSA perfectly works for me.

Gost Spectre isn't official Windows 11, it's a modded version of stock Windows 11. May be Gost Spectre has left off parts what Windows 11 by default has.
