According to the official post all oppo phone shares the same flashing method which’s indicated here: https://bbs.coloros.com/thread-69458-1-1.html
But since currently only Chinese version firmware is available so flashing between regions is still a myth....
Hi, my friends, what's going on? Has anyone been able to actually install the international version with all languages in the Chinese version PAFM00 ?? I'm turning up the internet and nothing. My color is in version 5.2.1 and I would like to know if you already have a secure provision for this update.
I tried to flash the A. 28
official ver but did'nt work ot stopped in t he middle of the process, and then it says update failed. I did it with this method did'nt work.

Never try any of that unless you have teh cash to buy a new phone or take it back to oppo to fix.
There are posts here about trying to flash different roms that mess things up.

If you read the forum, you will that one person has done what you said.
He now has to send the find X back to oppo.
Also he can't flash his original firmware.

You can use the msm tool. If you have a login and password.
Loads already posted on this topic.
Most are waiting for the 15th to see if they are lucky enough to unlock the bootloader.

Problem is "No one HAS the password"..... hopefully someone can grab the script, as the Chinese Rom is [email protected] in general is very poor, which makes the find X very difficult to use as a daily.
I love the Find X, but it desperately needs a stock rom, or even OxygenOS would be nice yes I know that can't be posted, but anything stock would make the Find X an absolute joy....:good:
I just took delivery of my R.O.G though so I can patiently wait to see if anything does happen.....
how to flash ozip ?
@Uometydev
1) Are we able to download the full RUU firmware from Oppo ?
2) Are we able to flash Oppo firmware through fastboot oem method ?
Will wait for your reply soon

Phone was unlocked but Chinese models don't have FRP Lock so I couldn't turn it off. The FRP lock appeared when the Chinese oeminfo was replaced with the European one and suddenly also the bootloader was locked again.
But I have a feeling that I forgot to turn on USB debugging when flashing using that guide on forum...
Anyway maybe DC Phoenix is my last option before sending it to Huawei to reflash OS. Apparently that tool can flash over locked bootloader and FRP.
Does anybody know how it works and if there is a free alternative?

Did you select the correct oeminfo for your firmware? STF-L09C10 is the Russian one and STF-L09C432 is the European one.
Also, did you remember to boot into recovery (volume up + power button) and select the option to clear your data after the rebrand?
You might still be able to boot into recovery and try a reset, but I'm not sure if that will help.

I selected the C432. And I remembered to wipe out the internal storage and data after the rebrand. I honestly don't know what went wrong (besides not having USB debugging turned on).
I also tried to boot into recovery but only the first message appears. In the end I think there is no recovery at all (or is corrupted)...
But it's funny how those security features meant to protect the phone in the end make it harder to recover.
Try to reflash Boot.IMG , Recovery.IMG via ADB in Fastboot mode and SYSTEm.IMG in TWRP.. (On your own risk)... maybe it will work....

Hello xdadevelopers,
I recently bought myself the Poco F1 and tried to follow LTT's guide on how to make the Poco F1 like a Pixel, but I accidentally wiped everything (by going into additional settings and clicking every box). I can still access TWRP, but can't seem to install the custom rom (errors).
Is there anything I can do to continue with the process of making my phone like a pixel? I'm still a major novice in this so if possible, please use layman terms.
Thanks a lot,
Sirsitu
Hi,
I recently did the same but on purpose. This was advised in the Syberia OS ROM installation instructions. https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/development/rom-syberia-project-t3862622
You might want to try that(format data, install newest vendor+firmware etc) and then try to install a custom ROM.

If you're stuck you can back to stock with fastboot rom
Boot to fastboot and launch Xiaomi Flash on your pc.

The best thing that you can do is flash the latest fastboot stock ROM available. It'll reset the phone to as if it was new and also lock the bootloader. But you can unlock it back without the waiting time this time.

That't not fastboot flashable file, genius. You are trying to flash the full ROM file. Download the fastboot file which comes in .tgz format. Extract it twice and you will get the main file. Once you extract the file, you would see the file name has a lot of "underscore" (_) marks See the attached screenshot). Moreover, you didn't mention what errors are you getting on TWRP while trying to flash the custom ROM. When creating a thread, try to include as much information possible, i you want someone to understand your problem and help you accordingly. Or else, you are just adding up thread counts.

LOL! All stock fastboot ROMs are compatible on MiFlash tool. It doesn't matter which version it is as long as it is fastboot flashable and you know how to extract and place it in the correct place.

Yeah but from what I can see on this is just a normal firmware and has to be updated thru twrp or settings.
But that older version has a fastboot version to flash idk though.

Also, stock recovery's link on the same posts. it can solve pretty much every issues! i figured it out on my own so i would really appreciate it if someone gives me credit before using it somewhere else. This forum is pretty much dead, people are keep questionaing, there is no one to solve their problem too. I am done with oppos and realmes, i am gonna exchange it soon and gonna get rid of this dead forum and dead development. Cioo.
why do no one fking helps me here? ban me! what a stupid forum!

I literally spended whole day trying to fix. Just flash a stock recovery. If you already have it. Go to this official page - https://www.realme.com/in/support/software-update
Download '' ozip " file. Put it in your sdcard/ internal storage. Boot into stock recovery that you installed using fastboot command or volume down key whatever works. select language, click on install , choose " ozip" file downloaded from official website just let it complete installing. you are done. ? just tell me if you dont have stock recovery. i will upload it on gdrive.
Here is the colorOS recovery a.k.a Stock recovery - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B8iurEwmlQ80b5dAn7aapNoAdsMBToiW/view?usp=sharing
Flash it with fastboot command - fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
download ozip file from the official website put it on your sdcard.
Boot into recovery volume down + power
select language
select install from storage
locate ozip file
click on install
PS - the link i provided above, it will only give ozip format as it is official page oppo uses ozip format so you dont have to worry about installing wrong one, just be careful of which device's file you are downloading, make sure its only your device. it can solve any issues that you are facing in miracle thunder box.
Remember, ColorOS recovery will only detect '' ozip " Format
I had redmi 4x santoni which i exchanged with realme, now if you look at redmi 4x you will see their developers and makers have reached stable pie with literally zero bugs and look at this forum, still on oreo, TWRP is full of bugs too. There is no assurance that we will get fking update of coloros pie too on our realme 1 its time that we should move on and grab differernt device which has active development going on atleast! I have decided already. enough of suffering.

I'm having the very same problem right now. I tried to root the device and everything worked well so far, but neither Wifi nor Bluetooth is getting activated. Changing to the other boot slot ended up in a boot loop back to fastboot.
@sadatkabir50 Where did you get the stock rom from or what was your approach to root the device?

Same problem. Everything working fine just Wi-Fi,camera,Bluetooth not working.
Which method did you use to root your device?
I'm following @halloweenm925's advice and downloaded the firmware for the EU version of the CPH2465 with a second device. How would you move forward if you had this file?
this boot img can boot ur phone but wifi and everything not working..
So I got the stock rom but neither the Wifi nor the Bluetooth is coming up. I'm kind of desperate right now. Can anybody support?

inbox me bro.. just now i fixed the problem
Solved the problem. Here is how I did it.
1) On a second Android phone, download the Oxygen Updater App
2) Open the app, set it to advanced settings, chose the device with the semi-bricked status, download the full zip
3) the zip file will be downloaded to sdcard's user root => transfer the zip file to your semi-bricked device
4) on your semi-bricked device, go to settings>updates, click on the top right three-point-menue and chose "local installation"
5) select the zip file and do the update
After the unpacking and verification is finished, reboot the phone and things should be back to normal.
If you want, you can now give the rooting a second try. There are a lot of tutorials, I used this one since I had the stock full rom:
Root OnePlus Nord CE 5G using Magisk [No TWRP Required]
Do you own a OnePlus Nord CE 5G android smartphone? If yes, today, we will share with you how you can Root OnePlus Nord CE 5G with the help of the Magisk
magiskapp.com
The full stock rom which is downloaded as described above needs to be extracted with the help of a script: as described here:
[LINUX][GUIDE] ROM Payload Image Dump
Now we have dumpers for Win/Mac/Linux! Great!
forum.xda-developers.com
So the steps to root the device would be
1) download the full rom as described above
2) extract the boot.img with the help of aforementioned python script
3) follow the steps as described in the tutorial linked above
I think what caused the initial issue on my side was that I simply was not on the same OS version on the device as the boot.img which I extracted from the full zip which is totally my own fault because almost every tutorial mentions it explicitly that you have to have the latest update on your to-be-rooted device AND make sure that you have the same ROM available to root your device.
Questions welcome!
