[PROBLEM] Fortnite Root Verification, Magisk doesn't hide it - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

You guys have found any way to bypass this root verification on Fortnite? Even if we remove TWRP and flash a stock rom it doesn't work. Uninstalling Magisk doesn't work either.

Hmmm,
What if we remove root from our device?

Audio Mod Issues Honor 8

I have installed Custom recovery and rooted my phone to install Viper4android . But After installing viper it's not working in my phone. Turning on viper doesn't change sound quality or anything in my phone. So alternatively I tried using dolby atmos app but that app force closes itself. Plz help if any knows a walkaround for this issue.
Ty in advance.
Do you checked your root status ?
if it wasn't root ,just use the Magisk to root and in magisk modules , install viper and dolby magisk modules and restart your device ,this will works.
In root checker app its shown that the phone is rooted.
I havnt installed magisk yet. Should i install it and try?
Can u please share instructions to install magisk.. Ty.
Check your Selinux mode. It must be permissive

Safetynet bypassed on Lineage os 15.1 !!!!

I just noticed that my kenzo bypasses safetynet on lineage os 15.1 20180323 build by lokmansiu. I can install Netflix from playstore, run super Mario run and pokemon go without any problems, also tested on safetynet test app. But I cant understand how is this possible provided I didnt even install magisk.
though I have not rooted the rom,
my bootloader is locked(used edl mode to flash twrp and then the rom)
can anyone plz tell if this is even normal??

No root = no problem.
You only fail SafetyNet if you use SuperSU to root your phone or forget to use Magisk Hide when rooting using Magisk.
SafetyNet also fails if you use Xposed Framework

But i always use custom ROMs without root and still the safetynet test still always failed
The only difference between this and previous scenario is that my bootloader is locked and the selinux in this ROM is hopefully enforcing...are they the reason?
how did you install twrp in edl mode with bootloader locked?

Follow the instruction from this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xExKvog5RP4
Tip: You can install twrp version of your choice. Just download twrp of your choice and rename it to recovery.img and place it in TWRP_ZCX/images folder (delete existing recovery.img file inside the image folder).
This method doesnot unlock the bootloader.

I don't know why but it didn't work for me. Still uncertified.
I recommend you flash Magisk to enable root access. Then use it with its "hide detection" feature (it is the default setting). It will mask your root access and unlocked bootloader from SafetyNet detection. Have a try.

Because selinux is finally set as enforcing. Probably next updates of other roms will be enforcing too

Because new build comes with selinux = enforcing
That means you are good to go
If that is permissive then you'll get error in bypassing safety net without magisk.
May I ask if use this method and later on want to revert back to a completely stock Miui ROM how do I do that on my kenzo device. Do I just use the mi flash tool and flash the original stock ROM back?

Problem after update Magisk

Hello,
yesterday I got a notification to update Magisk to v.21.3. I did it directly with Magisk Manager.
Since then I'm having problems with some apps and I notice that a new version of Magisk was release just to fix this problem.
When I try to install the v.21.4 with the Magisk Manager there is an option unchecked but I do not know if I have to check it or no.
Keep AVB 2.0/dm-verity
I do not know what is this. When I update to v.23.1 I did not have that option, was direct but now when I want to update to 21.4 from Magisk Manager I have this option and I do not know what to do.
Thanks
I assume nobody answered you because you could have just googled it.
Disable DM-Verity or Android Verified Boot without TWRP
In this tutorial, we will show you the steps to disable DM-Verity or Android Verified Boot (AVB) without using TWRP Recovery.

I just unlocked bootloader and stayed on miui with no root and Google says device not certified. What to do?

How can I bypass this?
I would recommend to flash a custom ROM and flash Magisk, then enable Magisk's hide feature to pass SafetyNet certification again.
Not sure if Magisk can also be flashed on top of stock MIUI, maybe some expert can answer this.
