Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has any insight on how I would get this phone rooted? I've tried just about everything I can think of and haven't found any luck. Has anyone rooted this phone? Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated.

I'm hoping as well, my trusty 3+ year old Nexus 6 just bit the bullet and I switched to this phone. Would love to root and install Lineage on it.

Hello, I'm new to the forum also the world of rooting. I have a ZTE Groove x501_USA_Cricket (Model) That I can't for the life of me find any information on rooting or doing anything on it. So I reached out here, and hopefully to get some help and possibly a guide to do so. Since I'm very new to rooting and don't want to mess up my phone. Advice, and such is really helpful. Hope to hear from some of you pretty soon. Thank you!

I just recently went through the MANY problems that came along with rooting this phone. I was able to successfully root it using the giantpoon method. Just 2 files and the pooter does the work. PM me for the links.
As far as I can tell, there isn't a custom recovery or ROM for it, but I was able to remove some bloatware and improve the overall battery life by altering some minor settings (using ROMToolbox). My issue is that the wifi stopped working and in an effort to undo any potential damage I had done, I tried restoring (NOOB!)... Needless to say; I now have an unrooted x501 with no working wifi. If I choose to get my service turned back on for it, I should be able to reroot (the ministro ii app requires some resource files), then it's just a matter of finding a good backup of the stock ROM so I can do a complete fix.
Hey guys, I am having a little trouble rooting my Samsung Exhibit II 4G. It is running 2.3.6, and I have tried multiple methods. Does anyone know a sureproof way to root? I would greatly appreciate it.

I just got my hands on a stock Kyocera Hydro Life from Metro PCS. I just soft bricked my last one yesterday and am interested in making a recovery.img from this one before I do anything with it. I rooted it using Kingroot and swapped it with SuperSU. I have no real experience in developing but if there is any way I can help with this process I am willing to learn. If anyone has any links or input I would greatly appreciate the guidance.

I have zte max rooted with kingoroot I would like some help with setting this thing up I would like a different rom and would like to completely wipe google out of the phone I'm kinda a newb with the android devices as far as digging into them internally so any help with that I would appreciate it
