Hi,
I have a phone - LG K4 dual sim - which has broken USB port. I asked my friend to charge its battery outside phone, so I could transfer my data from it. I put charged battery in it, then I normally turned this phone.
To my disappointment, phone booted to download mode and shown screen "Firmware update. Do not unplug the USB cable". It wasn't plugged. After waiting some time watching status bar at 0%, I turned the phone off.
Now I can't boot it up. Is this phone a hard brick?
Thanks

Hi There,
I had put my phone on charge the other night, everything was fine and it was happily charging away. I wakeup in the morning and see a notification on my phone. I unplug my phone the battery then shows 1% and turns off. I then did the smart thing of removing the battery for 5 seconds, putting it back in, turning it on and it turnt on but with 0%. I then put the phone back on charge.
This is where it gets interesting yet annoying. The phone flashes a red light whilst charging, it then goes to boot up showing the sony ericsson logo and then just turns off and repeats itself. I have had the phone on "charge" for an hour but to no avail of anything working. I am unable to connect via usb as the port to re-flash the phone as when it was repaired for some reason it has never connected via usb again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
hello everyone,i have updated GT-I9205 to 4.4.2 (sprint) stock, the first week was pretty good, at the second week my phone suddenly shut down and wont turn back on the battery was about 35-40%, i tried to connect to wall charger but no sign of life also tried from computer the same again under device menager no device was being added, after a day of trying i was nervous and just keept pressing the power button for about 5 minutes and than it turned on and no problems till yesterday, as usual i have putted the phone to charge when i gone to sleep and when i woke up it was 33% and not charging, when i put the charger it says usb connector connected and wont charge, ive tried to go to download mode and maybe flash with an other stock firmware but wont be recognized, i also tried to wipe data/factory reset but no luck, so i thought it was a hardware failure while trying i've found out that when i am in download mode with usb cable connected and take out the battery the phone stays turned on, than realized that if i connect the usb cable while the phone is of and than go to recovery mode then reboot, when it boots it charges the battery but keeps no notification that its charging just the regular battery icon and if i take out the cable and put it back it says usb connector connected but wont charge , does anyone know what to do with this, is this a hardware issue (i know that if i change the motherboard it will be okay because of firmware) or is this a software issue(what im thinking it is), does anyone how can i change the firmware without odin and without being rooted, or is anyway to root 4.4.2 without odin than install an other firmware or what should i do (instead of killing myself hahahahah).
Sorry for my bad English and if i was not clear please let me know than i will record a video and post it here!
Thanks for your time.
Kind regards from Prishtina DB

Hi all
I'm hoping someone can please help me.
I woke up today to find my G5 (H850, UK) unresponsive and showing a black screen. I had it left it charging over night as usual from about 11% battery. After removing the battery, replacing and powering on I was brought to a screen saying 'welcome to fastboot mode for bootloader unlock' and powering off/removing the battery won't allow me to get past it.
Trying to initiate a hard reset only gives me the fastboot menu and my pc, while making the usb connected/disconnected sound, doesn't seem to recognise it being plugged in.
I have never attempted to root/modify the phone or even download anything from outside the Play store.
Can anyone help or is my phone bricked? I have no idea what to do here.
Thank you
Did you get this problem fixed?
Did you manage to find a solution for this problem as I now have this exact same problem
Hi guys! Yesterday I tried to turn on my old S6 Edge. After the device turned on, I was being told that the old phone number is used on another phone, and I had to choose between "Close" and "Turn off phone" and I turned off phone by mistake. Then it just started acting weird: bootloop, then only led was on...and after a while turned off. Recovery mode, download mode, etc, nothing is working. When I plug it in with the charger, it does not turn on, but when I place it on wireless pad, the pad led is turning on, sign that is charging the device. Any ideas what should I do? Thank you in advance.

Plug in the phone using a good wall charger and data cable and let it being charged overnight
Hello. Yesterday at midnight i was on my computer and i had my phone next to me charging (to the wall plug) i double taped the screen to check the time and after some seconds the phone crashed, usually when my battery is below 10%-20% it can do the same thing because i haven't ever changed battery, so it's 4 years old with many charge cycles in it, but it was 100%. When my device crashed after it's first attempt to boot crashed again, the second attempt was extremely long (probably about 2 minutes), it booted to the lock screen but then it crashed again after 5-10 seconds when the phone was on the lock screen, after the crash it booted into the "Fastboot Mode" with the message "Welcome to Fastboot Mode for bootloader unlock" at the latest line of how to exit fastboot by typing a command "fastboot reboot" to exit. I was almost sure that i needed some kind of software to perform that and i decided to remove the battery instead. After re-attaching the battery i holded the power button and nothing, my phone doesn't even show the LG logo anymore. At first i thought that the battery was probably dead so i decided to connect it to the wall plug again to verify that (you can connect the lg g5 to the charger without battery and it will show a battery warning icon, but it wouldn't boot.) but the phone showed no life. I'm starting to think that i damaged it somehow by pulling out the battery. Stressed out i decided that it's dead and i called it a day. The next day, after i woke up i picked up my phone and i realized that it wasn't as cold as it should be for a dead device, i felt the screen being slightly warm, and decided to connect it to my pc. After i connected it to my pc, it showed some kind of life by playing the win10 device connect sound and i saw it in the device list as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM6)"
And here is where i need help from the community.
Is there anything that i can try?
Is it somehow bricked?
Is it time to buy another phone? If yes how can i retrieve the 2-Step Factor Authentication from (Google (all connected here), Steam, Microsoft etc.)
Is it worth spend money on repairs? (Mostly for the 2FA and Contacts)
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hello I wanted to ask you because we use the same phone
my device is strangely wiggling in games pubg even at low settings and overall it is but the stranger
When I plug the phone into the charger while playing the game, the performance increases for about 40 45 seconds.
