help!
My Samsung Chromebook Plus v2 is giving me trouble in beta and now dev only since the last couple of updates. Beta was constantly force closing apps and forcing a restart of Chrome. And now I wanted to try the latest dev mode (Chrome 70!!) and I can't log in. It keeps rebooting, briefly showing the login screen, and then blinking off. I can't stop it. It won't even shut down.
Any help is appreciated. thanks.
EDIT: after about no fewer than 30 bootloops, I finally got the login screen in dev mode. Is this normal? I'm working backwards this time and now going to beta from a powerwashed state from dev. Perhaps I'll be able to use beta this time instead of going from stable to beta. Any knowledge about these issues is welcome!
EDIT 2: UGH! Still cannot use beta mode very easily. When I click in certain apps or in the Play Store, it blinks off and force closes the Chrome browser and asks me if I want to restore its settings. This is very frustrating as I was using beta mode before and I can no longer use it.

I'm unable to install/uninstall or update my apps with google play. Uninstalling Google Play updates doesn't work either. Rebooting doesn't help. Reset my phone to factory defaults once, but after a while the problem cropped up again. Not sure if it has anything to do with some of the apps I've installed.
Another issue that maybe connected to the first one is that when i go into an individual app info, it says computing and nothing happens, no info no matter how long I wait.
Issue #3: The developer options are not accessible. When I press the Developer options, I just get a black screen and after a while it says Settings are not responding.
It's safe to say I really hate this phone's guts. I've had nothing but trouble with it. It's slower than molasses, and I've never installed a lot of apps on it, no cracked apps either, just highly rated free apps and paid apps. It does have a great screen. That's all good I can say about this beta phone. I can't wait to upgrade Note 2.
I'm on the stock rom 4.0.4
Any ideas, other than resetting it yet one more time?
Thanks!
I've been ignoring google updates notification and I have my auto update settings turn-off and yet, google was able to force their update. Very shady. I've been using an old chrome version and the notification keeps popping up to remind me to update chrome but I just ignore it because I don't want to update. Then a few days later, chrome started to auto download their update everytime I restart my phone so I always force close my download manager to stop it. Then this day, chrome suddenly hang up while I was browsing and my phone was unresponsive. Home and volume button doesn't respond so I pressed the on/off button to lock it then screen went off. Then when I press it again to show the lockscreen, no response. So I removed the battery and put it back then turn my phone on. Then chrome started to auto download again and as usual, I force close download manager again before it finish the download. Then a few minutes later, a notification showed and say chrome was succesfully updated. Feels like google have complete control of our phone. .
Heh! Feels like google compromised my phone... Told my phone not to update any app then google steps in and overrides my phone's setting and silently did what they wanna do. Shame on you google! Very shady company. I wonder what else they're doing on my phone without my consent. This should be put on the news to warn people. Stop fooling people that this is an accident because you don't accidentally override other people's gadgets and install whatever you want.
See how many people complaining about google's action.

After few weeks with android Nougat on my Galaxy S7 G930f i started to get angry with facebook crashing cause i use it daily. So i started looking for the reason of the crashing issue. Aand guess what ?
I have figured that the crashing comming from wifi/gps .
Solution is to switch the wifi and gps to OFF if its ON, or to ON if its OFF. And the app will run instantly
Hope i made my self clear on this one

So I'm going to tell you girls/guys the whole story. It's going to be a long one, so bear with me. I just didn't wanted to leave any info.
I've been using MIUI for a long while, in the beginning it was all great. But as I started installing more & more apps, I started having issues/lags while playing games. Then there is MIUI's ram management issue, i.e. If I had to run a heavy game/app, I had to clear out RAM(you know the special feature in MIUI). Other than I had network issues. For ex : Whenever I played PR Legacy Wars(internet intensive game), I suffered from a lot of LAG. And Tekken(officially by Bandai Namco on Play Store) also, Force closed once or twice.
So to fix all this, I decided to go with a Custom ROM, basically because of the RAM Management issue.
First I started using CM 14.1. In the beginning the results were good. Like the internet problem was fixed to 100%, PR ran nearly perfect. Other than that there was no RAM issues. But as I started installing more apps, I started having crashes. First it happened with HQ Trivia, then with C.A.T.S. & PR Legacy Wars.
What happened to each app individually :-
HQ Trivia - Every time I play a live game, the app would crash multiple times given that I tap on ''wait'' and phone keeps on processing the app, when I get the message "App stopped working".
C.A.T.S. - This is neither a graphic nor internet intensive game, but still when I was typing something in group chat, the whole system crashed, the phone rebooted from the Boot Animation not from MI logo.
PR Legacy Wars - This game is a bit graphic intensive & internet intensive for sure. Same like when I was typing something in group chat, the same thing happened as mentioned above. Keep in mind that crash should've happened when there was more load on phone like during a battle.
And some very heavy crashes. Like when I try to switch accounts between guest & usual, the system crashed so hard, that I couldn't use it, Not even the hard buttons, like power button won't even turn the screen on. The vibration motor started spinning and wouldn't stop. I literally have to open the phone and disconnect the battery cable.
So having no choice, I installed NOS N, but I haven't tried the account feature in it, in fear of what happened earlier to CM 14.1, As I was able to recover through that heavy crash 3-4 times, but I guess it was the 5th time, I wasn't able to get into the system and lost all data. Why I feared? Cause I'm having similar issues as in CM 14.1, not all of them but similar.
SO after installing NOS N, these are the issues I'm having :-
HQ Trivia - Same app crashing while playing live games.
Sonic Forces - Whenever I watch an AD, if it's longer than like 5 or 10 seconds, app would crash & restart. If it's small or interactive or even non-interactive, if I keep tapping on the screen, app doesn't crashes, otherwise it does.
Twitter - Kept crashing(first installed through TiBa). Issue fixed after I installed it through Play Store.
YouTube - Force closed once or twice. Sometimes when I'm watching a video, when I press back then tap on Home/Trending etc it shows white blank.
Games - If music is playing in background, whenever I exit the app, at the end, the sound kinda gets laggy/screechy.
It's not been that long since I've been using NOS N. And I didn't do any hard testing especially that account feature. So the whole OS hasn't crashed yet. But still these issues hurt in long term, especially the HQ problem. Also all these apps were first installed through TiBa backup, then I installed them through Play Store, so that there's no compatibility issue.
As this OS has a feature to kill apps by holding back button. If sometimes I have lag in PR Legacy Wars, it get fixed by killing & opening it again.
What do I need from you guys?
To tell me if this a hardware or software related problem. I can create some report or log, so you could help me better. Just tell me how to do it? Meanwhile I'll try installing other OSs.
PS: I may not reply immediately, but I will reply.
As the title suggests, over the past few days Bottom Quick Settings has started crashing when I restart my phone.
If I set the phone up and install BQS and then -NEVER- restart, it works, but if I restart it, after rebooting the Accessibility Service associated with BQS crashes and the app will not load.
I've been using the app for years now, and this is a very very recent issue.
I've factory reset my phone several times and tried alternating ways of setting it up, however as soon as I log into my google account, upon the next restart, BQS crashes.
I've even set Play Store to not auto-update anything before associating my account, but the issue still appears.
Any suggestions folks?
Same issue for me. I installed an earlier version, malfunctioning still occurs.
Anyone can recommend alternative apps?

There are no alternatives, I've been searching since making the post.
It appears that an update to Android has made the app unstable, I've tried everything to fix it, nothing works. I've emailed the developer and raised a bug ticket on their site, but no response yet.
