So, if somehow the clock is only showing "boot" word and you want 24 hours instead of 12h, here is a easy fix
1. download the FD628_Demo.zip from attachments (a shout-out to Kam_58 from 4pda for the modded file)
2. unzip it and copy to usb/sd card
3. install Root Explorer if you don't have it
4. go to Preferences and choose "Legacy long click menu" and go back
5. go to system\bin folder long click the FD628_Demo file and choose Delete, it will popup a Warning, press Yes then again confirm the delete
5. now copy the new FD628_Demo file from usb/sd card to system\bin folder
6. long click the FD628_Demo file and choose Permissions, and set it to 0755 and press OK

7. long press again on FD628_Demo file and choose Change SE context then choose Enter context manually and write
Code:
u:object_r:FD628_Demo_exec:s0
8. Press OK and exit Root Browser, now reboot and enjoy
i tested this on my T95Z Plus and it's working
sadly it did not work in poison rom, in my original rom there is no FD628_Demo file so im ? lost
you tried on a t95z plus or a s912 device?

i always dug ASCII art, but i have to admit i never really made any. the only ascii i ever really used were spinners for DOS apps i wrote, so i thought i'd bring some of that back and to/for the Atrix.
(i might be alone in liking them though. lol)
i'll add more as i get them completed. i've started ~3 of them, so we'll see how they pan out.
figured it would be easier to keep them in one thread.
help or suggestions, just holler.

please note that i have ONLY tested this on my AT&T Atrix running GB 2.3.4 (4.5.9.1).
Changes:
Thanks! Very unusually! All works perfectly well!
I'm a big fan of Miui's note app and voice recorder app, they have stunning UI's which is not available for any other app in the market.
What would be the easiest way to port these?
Putting them in system/app with correct permissions doesn't seem to be the fix here
edit: for anyone looking for some other apps from MIUI someone has ported a few, which I don't need, but may benefit others. I haven't tested them
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1425553
OK, putting them in the system/app directory with the appropriate permissions should work... Unless they just aren't compatible with ICS Passion... I don't know... But try these methods:
Method 1:
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
1.) Download the attached .apk's and put them on your phone
2.) Open Root Explorer and hit the "Mount R/W" button. It should say "Mounted as r/w" to the right of the button
3.) Using Root Explorer to push the .apk's to system/app
4.) Make sure that the permissions look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
5.) Click Ok
6.) Reboot device
7.) Test the apps
Method 2:
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
1.) Download the attached .apk's and put them on your phone
2.) Just try to install them as is
But just to see, you should go download those ported apps you put a link to and see if they work for you.
Tried first method, didn't work.
Will download the ported apps later on and then try them.
thanks for trying to help
how can i port mms.apk from MIUI to any other rom?

(Help!) Annoying notification: "The system..." (The link to new thread in this post)
Note: English isn't my primary language and I'm only 14
The update thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/help-annoying-notification-damaged-t3669238
Here is the problem:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see, I had successfully add all of the Google Apps into the "non GApps" system.img (MediaTek rom), but after I booted up my phone, the annoying notification shown up. But this doesn't happend to the original rom
So this is what I did
1. I download the rom from NeedRom
2. I download the Google Apps from https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347821182
3. I unpack the system.img using this tool from the forum
4. I delete all of the "china parts" from the rom
5. I copy the GApps from step 2 to the system unpacked folder from step 3
6. I repack the system with the same tool from step 3 and apply the rom into the phone using SP Flash Tool
Finally the phone came up with the alert notification
BUT there is a small detail that I notice while I was playing around the Auto Tool v3
( This is the part when I unpack - repack - unpack the file :3 )
Is there anything that I can do to remove the annoying alert? Even if I have to apply the rom again.
P/s: this is the file_contexts I pulled out from the boot.img if someone wil going to unpack the system.img
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1RTsnBzcaa5UGNwSE1SRi1LRXc/view
The alert also shown up when I rooted my device and only when I unroot it (I use KingRoot)
Thanks to everyone is going to help me
