TeamHorizon's XenonHD rom builds for Sony Xperia SP (huashan)

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is based on LineageOS 15.1 with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".​

According to Android documentary and huashan device tree, there's only boot classpath and system server jars pre-optimized
BTW, soon it will become XenonHD 9.0 and seems like SP gonna get it first

It's LOS kernel without any modifications, you can change it on your own

Root?
I installed TWRP 3.2.3 to the FOTA partition, then installed the XenonHD ROM (version 180914-Official), opengapps 8.1, the Lineage addonsu-15.1 zip, and the android_lowram_enabler zip. I had to boot up about six times before the setup wizard and other apps got tired of repeatedly stopping, but eventually it booted up successfully. So far I am very pleased with XenonHD – it is fast, responsive and stable. Thanks again.
Just one problem, though – root is not working! I have set the 'apps and ADB' setting under Developer options, but Root Checker Pro complains that there is no Superuser app installed (although it does find the binary files). Kernel Adiutor also checks for root but doesn't find it. I thought a Superuser app was no longer required in Lineage if the su addon is installed? Please advise me what to do.

seems that you have to install some app that will manage the root access for apps. I don't know how it is handled with addonsu to be honest as I use magisk
btw: first public XenonHD 9.0 build has been already uploaded to our server

Thank you, that gives me a couple of things to try. I had assumed that as Xenon is based on Lineage it would use the same method for getting root, i.e. the Lineage addonsu.

What is the file "md5sum"? Must be flashed with rom?
