Look up their Patch rom. You dont build it from source like you do other devices. I would start by learning Linux.

Hi, i am just curious, when the Redmi 3 sources will be released. 'Couse it seems like Xiaomi has been released Mi 4s kernel source (which it's newer than Redmi 3).
For additional, can somebody provide us how to compile custom rom & kernel like Resurrection Remix for Redmi 3, please.
Thanks in advance.

But they didn't release Redmi Note 2/3 either.
We wait..
We know that Resurrection Remix Rom is one of the best custom OS and for me it's the very best.
Please, let's share for build, tutorial video or guide.
That will be awesome.
It wiil be great if anyone wants to share the source of DT2W feature for Redmi 3.
What are required for changing the charging current? Example, Redmi 3 has 2A, and would be increased to 2,4A.
I think we need MM device tree and there is not AFAIK
For all i know we don't have any kind of released sources yet

Check the Cyanogenmod bringup. There are sources for lollipop, I think.
I want to build a kernel for Xiaomi Redmi 4A. But Xiaomi doesn't release the kernel source. It is an MSM8917 chipset device. Can anyone help me to build the kernel for this device?
Not without source. This is the reason developers and sites like xda condem and avoid this oem.
Is any devs. Working to port project treble to our Redmi note 3..??
as one developer had ported it for Redmi note 4..!
Yeah ! it's very good idea but... Mmh.. treble project works normally with constructor who gives drivers updates ? Who will give them ?
But after all, i don't see the final goal because, there will only lineage OS ://
Hi, guys! I'm new at this stuff. Can you please help me to understand where I am going wrong. I want to build Android 12 from AOSP source code for Android 12 following the instructions here https://source.android.com/setup/build/downloading and separately build the kernel from here: https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/mojito-r-oss.
After that, via TWRP install the AOSP image first and then the kernel image. And then GApps. Will it be enough for the device to work properly, what am I missing?
