Hello. Some time ago i had a problem with TWRP recovery. I installed LOS 15.1 for my mido, and local storage has showed as 0mb. I have a the newest recovery version. I know there is a special LOS version for mido, but if i install crDroid or ROS, i will have this problem too? (I repaired this, and my phone is Redmi note 4 Snapdragon and Samsung sensor (note 4 without x, ))

Hello everyone!
I flashed TWRP onto my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and I have installed a custom ROM (Resurrection Remix). I had to install a custom firmware (cm 14.1) and after that I was able to successfully flash the RR ROM. The problem is that I want to go install the Global version of official Xiaomi ROM with MIUI (http://en.miui.com/download-309.html), but the recovery always tells me ERROR 7: 'This ROM is for Nikel. You have Mido'.
I believe that this is caused by the cm 14.1 firmware which I had to flash.
I DO NOT have a backup, so I cannot restore anything..
Also, I have maybe a solution: I need a TWRP backup of the original Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 firmware, because I cannot find it anywhere on the Internet.
Any help is appreciated,

Write to google "xiaomi redmi note 4 mtk unbrick" you can find unbrick package which have a rom and sp and all that you need to get factory rom

I am using Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Snapdragon). Whenever I flash a pre rooted oreo based custom rom and try to flash magisk on the rom it ends up with getting an error, named error 1. I flashed using Redwolf TWRP. I have faced this issue with all these types of rom, like Resurrection Remix, AOSP extended, Linage OS 15 etc. Please help me out to get out of this issue.

On my redmi note 4 (mido) i try to install lineage 15.1 official build when i setup my phone on first bootit is everything ok but when i try to boot into recovery mode my internal storage it is showing as 0 mb... what can i do to solve this problem?

Hi there, you need to flash a compatible TWRP build for treble which you can find in the official thread for LOS 15.1 for mido link to thread here. Don't use the ones from TWRP site since those are not compatible with LOS 15.1 for mido. Cheers.
Thanks but when i install magisk v16.0 it reboots continuously on mi logo and it can't boot into lineage

Yes, because Magisk v16.0 is not compatible with LOS 15.1, use Magisk v16.7 instead which you can download from Magisk's github here: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v16.7/Magisk-v16.7.zip

Last time when I installed twrp and rooted phone it was about 2 years ago, for this time miui updated to 11, and I'd like to know which versions of twrp and magisk should I flash?
Maybe there is actual guide for miui 11? I searching for 1h already, all are for Vince, and for miui 10. I don't want do mistakes with versions like 2 years ago when I spend 8h to unbrick and finally root my phone, that's why I asking.
In short: I need a guide to root my redmi note 5 with miui 11. Thanks in advance for help.
