Top right corner, there is three dot.. menu button
the application was updated but the function was removed because there were bug sending etc ...
we should have new access to this function as soon as google resolves the bug.
Working fine on my phone, once I updated the app, just force close it, open it again and it should be an option.
for me in belgium is not disponible .

Also, for those not being able to see the new refreshed UI, after installing the update, be sure to clear cache and data after opening the Messages app at least once.
confirmed, after update is need in Settings/Apps/Messages/Storage/ClearStorage, after this is in 3dot menu show new option "Enable dark mode", after use it is immediately switch do dark theme...
I didn't get the update. My message app is stuck in version 3.4.048 (Yehu_RC26_xxdpi.arm64-v8a.phone)
I downloaded the APK from APKmirror and used that, Black is really nice, Just wish Youtube would update as well.

You have to restart as soon as possible after clearing the caches. I was struggling myself but sorted it today.

Still not working for me
Somehow or other I got the second august update automatically. I always reset after an update (no idea if it makes a difference but I rarely have issues with the phones themsleves) and the dark theme was there from the start.

Been running and playing with it all night. After initial install I totally did not get the launcher+ like on the screenshots. It was the basic Eclair w/ drawer (not 3d). I install ADW over it though so now I'm happy. Very interesting Eclair/Sense hybrid. I like how you kept the Sense contacts app. Only problem is that my Facebook/Twitter contacts from the official apps do not sync with the HTC contacts app.
Overall: 8.5/10
Some little quirks need to be worked out...but overall, very clean and snappy rom. Favorite on this device so far.
Any way we could get the froyo flash 10 on the slideroot5r1 and busybox I need busy box to run lvh app to increase volume

I know ppl been asking, but how can we get Swype back or is that even possible? That would make this perfect.
Update: Went into Market and was notified of updates for 3 apps. Tried to update and got FC "The Application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I did try again for the other 2 apps and got the same thing. Also getting an FC when trying to open SetCPU.

Yeah, as far as I can tell. I backed up, wiped, ran the SlideMR1 update, then the other update (V2), and everything looked fine. Booted up just fine. Started putting things back when I like them and checked out the Market looking for swype and that's when I saw the updates. Tried to update and got the FCs. I'm gonna reboot and see if that helps at all.
Edit: Reboot didn't help. Gonna backup and re-flash.

I also started getting FC error from market. This started 'After I Applied Browser Fix' FC appears when I start any download from the market. Rom worked fine befor the browser patch tho because I was able to DL linpak and astro. But now DL anything is a no go lol.

Currently the way I have it so we can Use Flash & the Web browser break browser downloads..
However for me this is play as I never download nothing throough the Phone browser anyways...

From what I know V3 allows you to download/update apps in the market at the expense of not being able to DL things through the browser.

I just downloaded Skyfire and downloaded an imgae, so I guess the answers is you can still DL via other browser options.
Ever since I updated WWF after the TW update, I get an error connecting to the servers and can't play any games. I have tried a forced close and clearing cache. anyone else having problems with this? If so, does anyone have any solutions?

I played last night and everything worked great, even got push notifications for the first time. WWF definitely needs a paid version for android to get rid of those annoying adds.
That and I can receive chat messages but I can't send them.

after doing the update from the market, i was able to send messages. I couldn't do anything without it FC or giving me network error message from the version that was loaded with Touchwiz.
How did you guys get the version from the market to update the TW version? When i go out to the Market "Open" is the only option I get.
when you go into settings>applications what version do you have installed? I am running 3.61
Mine shows up as 3.59. Funny thing is that the Market version says 3.61 but "open" is the only option I get.

Try clearing the cache for your market and see if it will come up
Mine is version 3.59 as well.

That did not work for me.
I removed my stock version and installed it again from the market. I pulled and zip the apk. Extract and install from from your sdcard.
I can't try it right now, but I will check it out later. Thanks for taking the time!

Naked, work was blocking the download. After getting impatient I tried logging into the Android market on my PC and forcing an install on my tablet. It worked like a charm! I am now running 3.61. I am testing it now, but I have yet to get an error.

Sweet, glad you got it working. Good idea on doing the web page market and forcing the upgrade. I'll keep that in mind in the future.
I have seen often programs not able to update properly when they are located /system/app. Since the it was part of the upgrade to TW, they have it located there.
The install from Market worked great for me as well.
Never knew you could do that.

TripleTapper, can you please explain more? Now do you "force install" from the market? It just tells me that my Nook Color is incompatible with the app, and the buttons are greyed out.

I just opened the Market using the browser on my PC. When I do that and search for Words for Friends I click on install. It then gives me an option to install onto my various Android devices by selecting it from a pull down. My Galaxy Tab comes up as Samsung GT-P7510.
Words has been working flawlessly now! : )

It's been a constant problem forever with CM and a few other ROMS. It happened to me yesterday. Solutions range from cycling airplane mode, cycling 4G-3G-4G radio, or a full on reset. It usually takes a full reset for it to work for me.

Hmm, what mine will do is show that i have an MMS message from a sender and then when i open it and go into my text messages there is nothing there and its "gone" for ever. Likewise when i attempt to send it just says "sending". When you say reset what are you referring too? Because I did reboot the phone.

I went to the market and tried to download and reinstall. No go! It downloads but doesn't install. Any suggestions besides using a different App? I've added a photo of what the Play Store says when tring to install. This is my first time posting so be patient if the pic doesn't show. Thanks for your help.

Try going to Settings>Applications>Google Play Store. Then Clear Data/Cache. Then reboot your phone, and try reinstalling ESFE again.
Is ES the only app you've had trouble with? Might need to start fresh on your rom slot. Did you do a fresh install on your rom slot, or just update from 10.1.2? Did you wipe cache/dalvik when you did so?

Looks like you dirty flashed.
Do a full wipe and reflash the ROM again.

Yes there is. Make sure you have updated to the latest ROM (EU is B380)
1 - Backup all your stuff with Huawei native app
2 - Factory reset and let it boot
3 - Setup your google account and nothing more. Also don´t restore any apps yet.
4 - Test incoming calls when screen is off.
5 - Setup Huawei account
7 - Install Skype and it will restore itself call and chat history
8 - Test Skype (I have problems with it but I have 2 additional devices with the same account at the same time that rings at the same time so it might be just me)
9- Install fresh remaining communications apps like Whatsapp. From my experience when you restore from backup they will bug the notifications, so it´s better a fresh install while just restoring the chat history from backup.
10 - Setup maximum priority for communication apps notification
11 - If you feel it´s necessary you can also set those apps not to be closed and be automatically launched at startup.

Ive Just updated My device so now i am on b380 stock Rom unrooted but with twrp.. i Will try it now
I don't have any notification problem with B380 and B190 and I use 2 whatsapp accounts along with Slack, FB and other social media apps.
You are using it wrongly.
In my B351 update, i dont have this notification problem.

It's probably cuz these are third party apps
It's from Play Store.
I also tried with b170 and b360 update. I dont have the notification problem in my Honor 7 Indian Version..
Most notification problems comes from restoring those apps from backup.
If you just install a fresh app after factory reset and then ONLY restore app history (if needed as Skype doesnt need) you shouldnt get any notification problem.
Well phone is new, there is no any backup. I tried factory reset, same problem. I am waiting 14 days for huawei unlock code, i will root phone and then move apps from data/app to system/app, that should solve the problem. I am on EMUI 4.0.1 so that's all with marshmallow, everything else is working ok.

as far as I know this is actually server-side so you have to wait until you are "unlocked" by the server

In the newer Messenger versions, the "Save Photos" option was removed.
Even when installing an older messenger version where had it this option, it is missing.
But with a modified APK, this option has not yet been removed to me.
Maybe it's not fully server-side or ?!

If you uninstall a messenger and then install it again, have you got the new design again?
Whether or not you get the re-design is entirely server-side on Facebooks end. They have stated you won't need to update the app at all, it'll just be enabled for your account in the background and then you will have it.
There's no way to get the re-design through an updated app as of yet. They do roll back some people who get it when they shouldn't.
You just have to wait. It's rolling out in waves.
