Open Flashtool and click on the bootloader unlock icon. Switch off your phone. Put your phone in flashmode. Select Z3 from the list of devices in device selector.
Then flashtool will show you a Bootloader unlock wizard pop up window. Click unlock to begin unlocking process.
Check Flashtool log to confirm status of bootloader. :good:

[Q] [b] Unlock bootloader... Please help me

Hi all,
I rooted my LG L9 P760 (screen) with JB 4.1.2 and now I want to unlock bootloader, I tryed to unlock from Root Toolkit (markolino631's method) and from android terminal emulator (screen) but the phone still rebbot normally... First time I tryed, I didn't wait 30 minutes from the boot (in this post: plus.google.com/115049428938715274412/posts/CUu6YE3C6C2 Ricardo Cerqueira says: "...let it stay on for at least 30 continuous minutes. This is important!. If you skip this step, you may end up with a permanently locked device.") Any solution to unlock bootloader?
Thanks and sorry for my bad english, i'm italian
Try flashing the stock jellybean kdz again then wait the 30 minutes and pass the command...
-Sent From Cyanogen Moded P769
Ok, I try when I go home...
You might lock it permanently. Try installing with kdz then this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2221102

Make sure its connected to wifi/internet, wait 30-60mins..

How to re-lock bootloader?

I have some problems with the screen.so i want to send my phone to LG to repair it.
But i have a rooted lg optimus l9 p760 and i have unlocked bootloader!
Can someone help me to relock it?
You can't atm. But you can try send your phone anyway. I know that in case of Sony they sometimes didn't care about it, maybe you will be lucky with LG.

Yes , but it's not working!
You can't lock it again. It is written in unlocking bootloader Thread. You can send it to LG but you may be charged for repair if they will refuse to do it for free because of guarantee rules.

Debranding tablet z SO-03e (docomo)

Now that the tablet z is launching worldwide, what would be the chances of being able to debrand the docomo version of the TZ?
I'm just wondering as I'm not sure how good docomo is at releasing updates.
First we need the SGP321 Firmware.
At the moment there is only the docomo FW available and the WiFi only version.
Maybe someone with a SGP321 device could provide it....

Strange, I got mine from a dealer here in Hong Kong who never mentioned about any unlock and my local sim works in it fine, also xperiax10.awesome said a friend helped him buy his one from japan directly from docomo and didn't have to unlock it either.
some sites do seem to be offered sim unlock but it's rather pricy:

Really? What locks in the simlock then?
I was reading that the boot loader doesn't contain the sim lock so I assumed it was firmware based.

Yes, SIM-Lock is not dependent on Firmware
This is why you can flash different FW Versions to mobiles/tablets without any problems.
As from my knowledge the SIM-Lock is like a DRM-Key which is stored in the TA (TrimArea).
If you want to unlock your device you have to write the correct unlock code in the dialer, after this with an algorythm the DRM-Key is generated and stored in the TA.
To avoid any problems with SIM-Lock the Flashtool never flashes the simlock.ta file which is in some FTF Files.
The file is skipped

interesting.
If the key is stored in the TA and you unlock your bootloader the TA partition is removed on unlocking of bootloader, people are recommending to backup the TA partition to retain BRAVIA 2..so once you have the backup you could remove the any signs on the sim lock and once you restore it should be unlocked? hah
that's just my thinking....

I think here is an answer from a developer the best solution
You are right in theory, but I think when you remove the signs on the sim-lock the TA is not signed correctly anymore and it will not work. But this is just my thinking...
So for a correct answer we need a real DEV like DooMLooRD or Bin4ry or ....

Yes, Worldgsmcodes.com sent me the unlock code for my SO-03E in 72 hours.
Don't choose Xperia tablet z, choose tablet S, then the support will contact you to give them the IMEI of your XTZ and then they will send you the unlock code.
Works perfectly.
The Unlocking bootloader service sent me a code to unlock the bootloader, ( my XTZ says : Bootloader unlock allowed : No ), i tried this :
In the cmd windows type in fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version
If a value is returned (it will return 0.5), it means the phone is correctly connected
Type in fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY and replace KEY with the key which u received earlier.
You're device should now be bootloader unlocked
it's not working....

I mean, what's the advantage of your method to the official one on the Xperia webpage?
PS: I marked your other threads for deletion.

Sent from my Sony Xperia XZ1 using XDA Labs
Hello, I'm wondering if someone can answer a slightly n00b question?
I have not unlocked my bootloader since it could be unlocked without messing with DRM and since then I have been relying on methods that can be done with a locked bootloader. I now have an unlockable bootloader and at the point with not being happy with unrooted restrictions.
I am wondering about unlocking and wanted to know all the cons of unlocking these days? With the DRM fix do we actually keep everything?
How about widevine and pictures is all that the same as before?
I have searched but many people say different things and everything is conflicting. Some people say that widevine drops to L3
Thanks in advance
I have a G8342, and in the service menu it says "bootloader unlock allowed: Yes", but in developer settings the "OEM Unlocking" option is greyed out.
Can I do anything about that?
*edit* never mind, I figured it out. It needed to have an internet connection to enable the option, so I enabled wifi. I don't know why they're related.

When I run the ADB command ( fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock [unlock code] ) it says "waiting for device." The only screen I see on the bootloader is black with a blue notification LED. The process doesn't work because it never stops waiting. Any solution?
To be fair, I haven't waited in the menu for more than a few minutes. I'll update this message after I've left it for a while.

An Xperia XZ1 Compact. adb devices, adb bootloader all worked. The device is recognized when powered on using such commands.
I tried the fixes for "waiting for device" like USB 2.0, using the official ADB software, and installing the right drivers, and I still run into the same error.

Can't unlock the bootloader.

Hello XDA.
Im trying to unlock the bootloader of my pocophone f1 but i can't
Im using the mi unlock tool to try and unlock it.
I have watched multiple tutorials and did everything but the unlock button on the mi unlock tool stays greyed out and i cant press it. it says "not connected to the phone" even though i have already installed the drivers, enabled oem unlocking in developer options and also enabled sync find my device.
What do i do ?
have you booted your poco in fastboot mode while trying to recognize it with mi unlock?
Same thing happened with me. Try on another computer or use windows 10.

But now when i press unlock it says Couldn't unlock After 71 hours of trying to unlock the device
Have you try with mi unlocker 2.3xx (use version 3.3xx with failed)?
I've got same problem before, then use version 2.3 and bootloader unlock running good at first attempt.

Yeah, that is the normal time frame... you have to initiate the unlock to start the timer for 72 hours (3 days). That is the time frame the Xioami requires before you can unlock the bootloader. Be thankful, because it used to be 1460 hours (2 months), but after requests, Xioami has lowered it to 3 days. Now that your timer has started, you just have to wait for 3 days. My 72 hours finally finished today, so I just finished unlocking and rooting my phone a few hours ago. It seems like forever, but be patient.
btw... the error message was lost in translation... it says "Couldn't unlock after [hours] of trying to unlock the device" but it is just a bad translation... It is telling you that it can not unlock the bootloader for another 71 hours in your case.
