most of the time the 2 buttons of the contact and the calendar doesnt power it on when im pressing on them while the o2 is off
does anybody had this problemm - maybe it is because some software that i installed ?

My contacts and calendar keys do not power it on either. Also, if you press one of those, it seems to lock out the power button for a few seconds. If you press them multiple times, it may take a while before it will power on. Mine always responds instantly to the power button as long as I have not pressed one of the others.
options
There are options, under security settings I think.
I have mine selected. It only allows the XDA to be switched on by pressing the power button. Doesn't always seem successful though..
I quite often sit on mine, so the key-lock feature is absolutely essential...

Assign power button to wake up screen only

Our LG P500 can wake up screen with any key. It inconvenient for me when I just press any key: home, back, search, menu, the screen auto turn on.
So, are there any way to assign only power button for wake up?
when your phone is locked and you press any key, the screen only lights up for a few seconds. Even if you accidentally press home or search, nothing will happen until you unlock it? There's no reason to have a dedicated button just for waking up the screen.
It's a good idea to save more battery. But no solutions as of now.
Thanks, I'll try to find other solution
MIne turns off sometimes by itself

Capacitive buttons v. Hardware buttons v. On screen buttons

I would like to get all y'all on XDA's opinions on buttons on your phone. My personal preference is on screen for their flexibility, customizability, and context-sensitivity. What do y'all think?
On Screen buttons are great on tablets and phones, it gives a clean look. But sometimes I accidently pressed the back button when typing which is kinda annoying and you have no choice but to press the lock screen to wake the screen. I prefer a physical home button and capacitive back keys (cuz you press a lot) for phones and On Screen buttons for tablet since orientation doesn't matter.

Reluctant power button

Might be hardware problem, not sure. In that case, mine is moto g5 (on lineage 14.1)
Occasionally when the phone sleeps and I press power button nothing happens. Requires pressing it 4-5 times to wake it up.
In other cases, again sometimes, when it is awake and I want to blacken/lock the screen, again pressing power button once does not do anything. Long press invokes the restart-poweroff-whatever menu. I need to really struggle to persuade it to go asleep.
Found some similar complaints from older times with other phones, but no clear explanations.
Does anybody have experience of dealing with this problem?

Home button doesn't always work (Mate 10)

Hi! I got the Mate 10 (non-pro) I'm testing and it seems like pressing the on screen home button takes several presses to go back to home screen. I tried this with setting up the front fingerprint reader as the home button instead of the on-screen buttons and same thing, so it's not screen sensitivity or the fingerprint button. Both behaves the same (bad) way. It's super annoying, as the taptic feedback buzzing under my finger and the phone still didn't exit the app I'm trying to get out, sometimes I have to press 3 times to exit apps or just get to the home screen.
Anyone else has this issue? It's the ALP-L29 version.
This only started to happen after a recent update. Dont' ask me which version of firmware, I'm not using that phone at the moment but the phone was much better a month ago.
