Hi guys, when I set my unlock pattern, I used one of the dots twice (went around the square, then diagonally through the middle to the second corner again).
Now when I try to log in, it doesnt let me select the corner dot again, it won't select it after I pass through the middle.
What gives? I can access TWRP so I can wipe it and start over but I'd rather not if it can be avoided.
Replying to myself in case someone else has the problem.
I never figured out why exactly, best I can figure is that I wiped the tablet and set a swipe pattern that used to be permissible, but wasn't after I restored through TWRP. Luckily, I had an earlier restore point from July which is before I used a swipe pattern. That successfully got rid of the problem and I only lost a little bit of data.
I'm not sure why restoring the more recent backup didn't change the swipe pattern that was stored, only the parameters, but there you go.

I don't know how to explain it, but for about half of the apps that I installed, Android started showing their "full" name. Instead of just ChompSMS, it shows com.p1.chompsms.ChompSMS.
I'm new to Android, not sure what's happening here. Reinstalling doesn't help and first few times, it does display everything correclty.
Are you actually looking in the Apps menu or holding down the hero screen, accessing that way and then going into a menu in there?
Apps folder is accessed by the up arrow on bottom left of screen.
If you are doing the right way and it's happening I'm afraid i'm not sure, but sure someone can help.

It's the actuals apps menu. You delete the app, reinstall, the name shows fine. You run it once or you reboot the phone, "full" one starts showing. It's doesn't do it for all apps, just a couple (about 5 or so).

A couple days ago, I went into the settings and added the unlock pattern screen to my phone. I was hoping to add this AFTER the slide screen, so when I saw that the slide screen was gone, I decided to remove the unlock pattern screen. Now that I have done that, when my phone tries to boot up, it's still telling me to draw a pattern, even though I went into settings and removed the pattern unlock setting. As a result, when I go to draw a pattern, it doesn't recognize anything and says incorrect pattern. Now I can't access anything in my phone. Does anyone know what I may be able to do to correct this situation?
BTW, I'm using FREEX10 Beta 3.
There is an option to hide the dots, but you still have to draw a pattern - have you tried using you pattern over what might be the invisible dots?
No, I can't even access the settings to change anything regarding the pattern setup at this point. But I did not try that...not sure it would make a difference anyhow? Thanks for the response though!! Anyone have any other ideas? Or will I be forced to restore my 2.1 backup? Don't want to do that quite yet until I know that's my only option.
Well I messed with it some more. Seems like you can draw the pattern, but you just don't see the pattern trail. So apparently, my pattern was still working, I just happened to check off the box with the visible pattern. Stupid me, I feel like an idiot now.
Hello, after trying various mods now I am settle with checkrom RevoHD V.6
1. Since I first updated the phone, I lost the "zoom lock" in browser's vertical scroll. To explain it more, when I double tap the screen, it zooms into the text, but when I scroll down, the zoom is not lock (as when I bought the phone) instead it scrolls down and left or right, so I lose some words from the left or right of the paragraphs. Its not a very big deal but it happens every day.
2. I install a custom modem through KitchenPro, the XXKI4. This modem however does not work properly on my device. How do I revert back to factory modem?
3. Finally is there really a way to have the phone vibrating for calls and not for SMS?
Try reflashing rom (it's no wipe) That could solve your issues.
I haven't used my LG G Watch in awhile.
The last time I used it I put a pattern lock.
Now that I want to use it again, I forgot the pattern lock and cannot unlock the watch.
How can I factory reset my watch if I forgot the patter lock I used?

You should be able to use the small button on the back directly above the charging pins to accomplish this. Try pressing and holding it for 10 seconds or so.
You can also access the bootloader by tapping the bottom right and top left corners of the screen rapidly on the LG screen at boot. Then select recovery mode with the arrows and start it with the circle home button. Swipe up on the Android error screen. Then swipe down to wipe data. Swipe across to start the reset.
Hello team, I am not really sure how to get out of this issue on my S9+...so need your help. I managed and found out a way i could get this larger display of the time displayed on my lock screen. This was done by swiping in sby mode, all the way from top to the bottom till i reach the home button. But now i am not sure to remove this option and get back to my normal screen. I wish i could post a picture to show the exact problem.
