crdroid or pixel experience.
PE is what you get from the pixel phones, speed and battery life, but with less customizations and 100% battery charge. where as crdroid, has customizations, and 98% battery from my own experience.

Never had battery issues with crDroid, my battery charges up to 100% normally
Android Ice Cold Project so a good rom, VoLTE no working, that's the only bug I found.
It has to be Liquid Remix or Bootleggers, other roms like CR, havoc, dot and many others have a bug that cannot be resolved which is long press back button to force close app, LR and Bootleggers are the ones that have this feature working. Both of these roms are very fluid and more or less bug free.

Hey everyone! Which ROM you are using on your le max 2 for daily usage and why?
Latest AOSIP. Why: Oreo, everything works like a charm, it's fast and has a decent battery life (3-4hrs SOT, AccuBattery says the current battery capacity is 2750mAh)
Latest LineageOS, because it's simply most stable
EUI stock...'til now, marvelous
I have tried several roms and my favorite so far is AOSiP, its stable, fast and battery-friendly, although sometimes the animations don't feel smooth at all, but not really a problem for me
and also the boot animation is sick

Yes! I do really love sound enhancement of stock. It's really good ROM, everything works very cool. But old security patches and some more issues. But I can use stock ROM anytime for daily usage.

All other custom roms have the same bugs, because all of them are modified LineageOS.
The only difference - they keep adding their own bugs, not existing in Lineage.

But lineage os lags more than aex. Lineage has dynamic color contrast bug. Lineage heats too much. Lineage has YouTube playback bug. And these bugs are not in others. Am I missing something. And are these bugs solved.
I've been using AEX 0417 build for awhile now as it's quite stable, battery friendly, relatively bug free - as a matter of fact, I've not noticed any - and has a number of features I like. I've also checked out Dirty Unicorns 12.X and MSM Extended, both of which are very good, but weren't as battery friendly - this may have changed with the newest builds, though... ?

I don't actually know what do you mean. I'm not experiencing anyh lags or heat. Youtube works fine. I have no idea what is "dynamic contrast bug"?

I tested Carbon for a evening once recently. Besides its gestures, which didn't appeal to me, I found it be a bit bland like Lineage really.
I can get 1%/4hr idle drain with that AEX build I mentioned, but I'm using Helix Engine power manager with it - it's available on the Play Store, by the way... ?
Hi there, I just got a Le Max 2 x820, not for battery but for 820Soc. My Previous device was Redmi 3s, Le max 2 is too good in performance, but I'm stuck with vendor rom and facing frequent Fcs, which ROM has the longest SoT ? I'm planning to change ROM, help me out guys, is it Small EUI or any oreo rom or slim 7 or carbon or pixel experience ..... , which is the longest?
Definitly Small EUI or the Final Release of EUI 6. All Oreo Roms have an idle battery drain problem, at least for me.
Otherwise Nougat Roms are ok. But best is EUI.

in case you are looking for custom rom,
for battery go to AICP or MSM-extended, but in AICP the support for magisk is poor
for looks got to pixel experience but very poor battery
for dolby inside rom go for rr rom 5.8.5 or rr rom by mukul soni
for overall good experience go for lineage but no customization
at the end each rom has some ifs and buts, depending upon your user experience, you have to decide what to do.
cheers................

yes
Stock ROM is best for sot
but in custom ROMs
Marshmallow- RR M
Nougat- slim ROM (but I prefer using mokee or during or RR because of better experience)
Oreo- aicp or aosip
What SOT are you getting? I get 5+ hours with dirty unicorns 8.1, on demand governors with no frequency changes and greenify. I'm using the original battery, which is reported as 3012 mAh by accubattery.
I will write this once more....
SOT it's not something standard and same for every user even with same rom.
It depends mainly on:
Apps installed
Apps and services running in the background.
Social media apps and usage.
Screen brithness
and alot more things that are unique to every user.
So asking about SOT is a question that has no real meaning.
That's why we read so many different opinions and numbers for the same rom.
As a conclusion don't ask and don't compare SOT's... It will be different for every user.
I'm currently using Colt OS, and I am getting 1/2 battery (or SOT) of what I get in MIUI 10.
I play PUBG at smooth-medium graphics so any suggestions for Pie ROM with good performance and battery?

In my opinion, just use Resurrection Remix OS, I know it's oreo. But it literally got no bugs in it. The battery is just great I am using this ROM for now a week I think, great perfomance and battery. I was actually thinking to flash Havoc but people said it has a reanimation bug, so I decided to go for RR instead.
Oreo roms are the best right now, because they have got better. While Pie roms are still under development and has some annoying bugs which can be bad for daily driver.
I use Nitrogen os pie as my daily driver for a while (with agni kernel), no annoying bugs, great performance, amazing battery life (compared to other pie roms). If you can live without heavy customizations (color changing is available after flashing a zip or a magisk module), than this is the best choice in my opinion.

Hi guys,
I'm a new Poco user. I've checked out the forums and saw lots of ROMs, Kernels and even Recovery software. I'm a bit overwhelmed for the first time as I'm liking stock MIUI 10 for now. Can someone enlighten me on which ROM has the most features, what ROM is the most stable, which kernels go best with which?
Stability: BaikalOS, Pixel Experience
Powersave: BaikalOS
Customizability / Extra Features: Resurrection Remix, crDroid, Havoc-OS / POSP
Performance: Nitrogen OS, crDroid
Pixel Like: Havoc-OS, Pixel Experience
These are the ones I know but haven't tested all of them. Tell me if I'm missing any.

Wow thanks. Does BaikalOS have the app cloning feature? How good is the battery life compared to MIUI 10?
best kernels
Sphinx and Franco kernel
Best roms
Lineage and stock
Stock is of course the most stable, but the beta builds always have bugs they always remove settings add settings fix something break something.

It doesn't have the app cloning and battery life is a lot better if you manage the background apps strictly but you still have to install it and test it yourself.

There is no best rom or best kernel, it all comes down to personal preference...
Lineage Pie with Franco kernel.
..and go with pixel experience only if u r into very stock version which I think is overrated given its customization limitations.
I have always hated chinese ROMs or apps, take MIUI for example they have like hundreds of apps injected into core system (miui security, miui contacts, miui dialer, miui messaging, miui this that and what not...)

Hi fellow Flip! Yeah I went with Ambasidii rom based on stock MIUI since I need the cloned app feature for ROM (Slave priest). It's rooted and has derp kernel. Battery life is quite a lot better. I was redownloading all my apps overnight and it only drained about 7% of battery life which is 1% more than full stock on idle without WiFi.
By the way, do you do a battery recalibration once you switch roms? Standby time is fantastic on mine but it seems to drain a little harder while playing ROM compared to stock.

There's no need to recalibrated when switching roms. Recommended calibrating your battery ( each month or every three months )
android phones this days use lithium-ion (Li-ion) or lithium-polymer (Li-po) batteries for Poco F1 . This batteries don’t need to be fully discharged, and come with smart chips that make calibration unnecessary and that's the good thing for us.
Just want to share this method , i do this all the time after switching custom roms.
First, drain your phone’s battery completely. Don’t charge it at any point while it’s draining. Let the phone keep working till it shuts itself off. Once the phone has shut itself off, restart it so it shuts off again. Even though the battery was at 0 percent, it has a few reserves left. Now, while the phone is off, charge it to 100 percent. It’s safe to use quick chargers for this, but make sure you hit 100 percent. Once it’s fully charged, unplug it and boot your phone. Android might not say it’s at 100 percent, and that’s okay. In that case, plug the charger again and let it get to 100 percent. then unplug it. This cycle of full drain and recharging lets the chip calibrate its readings with the battery’s charge cycle.
hope that helps:good:

Oh. I meant nevermind as I had wrongly posted in this thread.
Anyway crDroid offers a ton of customization and yet is very stable. Currently on Q builds (6.4). I have used crDroid for the past 7 months without any notable issue. No random reboots, system hanging or app freezing/crashes. Performance is very good and battery backup is excellent.

At present pretty much any rom based on Android 10 is stable.
Reloaded OS - performance and battery backup is great as it is a CAF rom. It has minimal but useful customization.
Pixel Experience - There are two variants. One is normal (just stock pixel phone) and the other is plus edition which offers some useful customization. Built-in kernel is okay-ish so better flash another kernel.
Pixel Rom - Authentic Pixel Port. Change kernel for better performance.
Arrow OS
Roms with customization overhaul - Evolution X, Crdroid, Aosip Derpfest, Corvus, Havoc OS and many others.
always prefer try every rom but here's some suggesstion for you
pixel experience because it is very stable and no bloatware also lineage os but for now the android 10 version is not that stable so choose your drug.
Ancient os

Fewer customisations don't necessarily mean better experience on other aspects.
This being said, PIXEL EXPERIENCE has the fewest customisations of all. It's stable too.
