My prism 2 phone boots to blue screen. Can't get to fastboot. Can't get to boot loader mode. Only can get to pink screen. Before this I had bootloader unlocked and my phone was rooted and debugging was on. I attempted to use swapped 2 phone rebooted fine next time I rebooted it went to blue screen. And I have clockworkmod recovery.II. Could really use some help if it's out there. Thanks anyone

My partitions for boot were erased accidentally. Cannot fastboot nor adb. Frustrating, this is my only way to communicate with family and loved ones. I had a pretty robust development of the Stock ROM, but chose to flash these ROMs, and ended up erasing boot partitions in the process. Is there any fix for this and how do I reintegrate the file system? Terrible. I guess we're SOL.
I think my phone is dead. I dropped it, when I picked it up. The screen was off. it won't turn on, but when I plug it in, goes through boot loop over and over. I can get to boot menu to boot recovery, but when I tell it to boot into recovery it goes back into bootloop. I booted into fastboot and tried to boot to recovery using fastboot boot recovery.img, but it goes into bootloop. fastboot getvar all returns with nothing.
I am thinking I have damaged the internal storage when I dropped it... Any suggestions?
Sold phone.
I have sold my broken phone for parts and upgraded to a Nexus 6, so I will be leaving this forum and moving on to another. Thanks everybody who has helped me with my PFX.
I am having an issue. Updated kindle fire 6 hd 4th gen to 5.0, downgraded to 4.5.3. Installed king root, rooted device, installed flashify, flashed openrecovery-twrp-2.8.6.0-ariel.img, rebooted. Now I am stuck rebooting . If plugged into a computer loads to the amazon logo, shuts down, loads to the logo repeat.
I have tried to fast boot by correcting drivers in device manager for the mtp whatever and constantly spamming the fast boot string.
I have used adb to see if a device ever loads and it doesn't.
Windows makes the sound that a new device is connected for about 15 seconds then will make the noise that a device has been disconnected as the fire reboots. I want to say it is a soft brick since it attempts to load and is communicating with windows to some degree. I have searched for two days and tried KFFA and an assortment of other tools. Any thoughts or assistance is greatly appreciated. It was only 60 bucks so not really worth sending it in to someone for repair. Also since it was brand new amazon is sending a replacement so this thing is now simply a toy to learn on.
When it can't get past the Amazon logo, there is no hope. OS 4.5.3 should be able to boot TWRP after OS 5.0. Where did you get the 5.0 file? Is it possible you got updated at some point?

You probably Flashified TWRP into your boot partition (instead of recovery). Since TWRP not signed, it will not boot. You can probably get into 4.5.3 recovery by pressing Pwr + Vol+ during boot, but that's not going to do you much good. Anyway, if Amazon can get you a replacement, go for it!

When I say 5.0 I am talking generic. I updated it to that version in order to downgrade the OS.

Yeah I tried that. I get reboot or erase everything and restart. Neither works.
I had bricked my 3rd gen HDX but was able to get a new Motherboard/Daughterboard combo off Ebay. Got them successfully installed. When i boot it shows a grey kindle fire logo for a few seconds then shows a white screen with diagnostics on it. Cant do anything but hold the power button to reboot. I do have ADB and can reboot into recovery. My windows machine sees the kindle as an MTP usb device. I dont want to proceed without proper guidance. I just want to get it working and stop messing with it. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
My mate from work, gave me his missus Kindle Fire HD 6 PW98VM, as device couldn't be charged so... I've replaced the battery turn on and here we goo... constant boot loop, Kindle turn on Amazon logo showing up for about 10s then screen is off and turn on again with Amazon logo. To go into recovery mode by pressing in the same time Volume Up+power and release when Amazon logo will show up, don't give any result (or maybe im doing it wrong). IS there any way to fix it by recovery mode or something to reset it do factory settings or install stock firmware. NO i don't know on what software version was running.
Any help or advice will be great.
