Flash a kernel that has built-in recovery (like elite kernel)
Go to recovery
And flash another rom

I can not find a solution, the same error message comes to me. I've already replaced with a Nokia 7 Plus. But it would be good to start with something.

I had a similar issue with my z2 where i could only get into fastboot mode. Tried flashing firmware. No luck. So suspected a hw issue. Replaced the battery and it worked fine.

Please Could you explain for me? i have the same probleme and i don't have a solution.

I have the answer, same problem, and got into TWRP Recovery:
1. Obviously, ADB, Fastboot, Drivers, flashtool installed (In windows 10 you need to disable driver signature enforcement, which resets after reboot)
2. Download techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/sirius , and Pick Stock kernel Repack ( credits to Dees_Troy https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2772879)
If flashing anything via fastboot fails (too many links, not allowed, no permission etc), unlock bootloader via
Code:
fastboot oem unlock 0x"(code from here https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/unlock-bootloader/)". You can find IMEI in the little latch above micro sd card slot/
3. Flash Via fastboot Kernel Flash DooMLord Method (I flashed stock system first viafastboot from xperifirm, not sure if necessary)
4. Restart phone, press Vol down repeatedly

Fastboot mode with Bootloader Unlock Allow: No
Hi, I don't know, but what I'm going to tell you is a bit strange, I don't know if someone happened to it, it turns out that I have a sony xperia m, model: c1905 and it turns out that the bootloader is locked in: no, but so for stumbling probe in fastboot mode and if you let me in the blue light turns on,It was from vodafone, but it is free, because it does not put any number in what is SIM LOCK, but if it puts an X but not numbers, we are going to be released, but it has surprised me and even more, that it lets me enter fastboot mode With the bootloader unlock allowed: no, then it is to know from there, what should I do,If now, I should unlock it with the code of the bootloader unlocking sony page or I don't know, that's why I ask before doing anything, and then without knowing what I do, load my phone, I would be grateful for this if there is any solution , and if someone else has happened this strange, thanks and regards

[Q] Xperia U won't go in recovery mode

Hello,
I have a Xperia U, and I found a nice ROM for it, MIUI. The problem is, that it needs to be in recovery mode. I tried all the ways to get there, but it keeps failing. I did it with ROM Manager, Quickboot and just via the buttons, but it keeps just booting normally. I know that my bootloader is not unlocked. Is it nessecary that it is unlocked, for it to go in recovery mode?

Usually these roms require unlocked bootloader. But sometimes developers manage making these roms for lock bootloader also
I just found the thread for miui based on locked and unlocked bootloader.

Okay, but now I have another problem... If I want to unlock its bootloader, it needs to be in fastboot mode or something. It will only turn the left led blue. Then I should install drivers. The problem is, that it won't stay in fastboot mode long enough for me to install the drivers. Am I doing something wrong??
Pls help me.

No mate. you are not doing something wrong. You have to be really fast. You can try another method too. Right click on computer and click properties. Open device manager. Now connect your phone on fastboot and when you see your device on device manager screen do the magic and install drivers.
This is the tutorial on how exactly unblock bootloader. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1527159.
Remember that unblocked bootloader means void warranty!

Totally Bricked: S1 Bootloader wrong. No flashmode/no fastboot/no boot only SOMC

Hello guys, today it's a really bad day for me. My M4 is now totally bricked.
Here's why:
I installed CM 12.1 and I will get back to stock, but my phone not enter in flashmode. So I flashed a zip file of stock rom but it not booted. I want to get Flashmode back, and I find a flashable zip that restore flashmode in Sony Xperia M. I flashed it and... bye bye M4. Now the phone only enter in SOMC FLASH DEVICE, Flashtool not flash, but say:
Device connected with USB debugging OFF. For 2011 devices line be sure that you aren't in MTP mode.
Sometimes enter in Unkown device. I have all drivers and I'm using original cable with USB 2.0 port. Now I'm trying to restore with PCC.
I removed the battery connectors for a while, put them back, but nothing changed.
My battery is at 100%.
What should I do?
So flash mode does not work anymore? This may seem inappropriate to say now that your phone is dead but if you have technical experience you could make a guide to opening and repairing the M4 or at least take pictures. But if flash mode or fastboot works try to restore it first
Well... Sorry to hear that :/ but uh..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/help/question-qualcomm-download-mode-k-t3068040
It uses a MSM8939 board same as ours. It's up to you if you want to attempt it but I'm suggesting not to.. Good luck anyway!
Thank you very much! Firstly I will try to send it to the shop where I buyd (sorry my english) and if they don't change the phone I will try this. Really thank you again!
EDIT: Ok, I am following the tutorial, but my M4 show only qhsusb_bulk with no driver. What I have to do?

probably you flashed custom kernel/rom with bootloader unlock=NO , you can try the S1 tool to restore your bootloader but you must have the original one.

you must have qhsusb_dload detected if yes then download this zip extract it and run s1tool, you must copy boot.sin and s1boot from your stock rom, the two files inside the zip are not for your C3, but you can try at your own risk.

Actually I had this problem with my Xperia s. I managed to remove everything but recovery. So here's what I did. Start Sony companion and go to the repair page. When it says plug in and hold down I think it's volume down key. Plug the phone in to the computer. Now it's a waiting game. But if you r lucky the red light should come on after like 10 min or so. If it does wait another ten just so the phone has some battery fueled up. Then plug it out and in again holding the volume key pushed. If this doesn't work just flash cm so you can get in to the phone. Lock the bootloader again and then try Sony companion with cm installed. Oh you don't have to hold volume key the first time
1. Flash boot and system images with TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/development/rom-6-0-1-xperia-m4-aqua-t3423264
2. Turn off your phone
3. If phone enter fastboot and flashmode go to step 1A, if not, go to step 1B
1A. Flash stock rom with selected "APPS_LOG" and "USERDATA"
1B. Go to recovery, and restore this backup: https://app.box.com/s/6okdn3wafe6mh3y4yhfe451nm0hwasah (if again not boot go to step 1C)
1C. Buy M4 Aqua with broken LCD or digitizer, swap mainboard.

M4 (E2303) stuck at Sony Logo - bootloader is not unlockable - Have NO recovery

Hi - have been searching these forums for days now but cant find a solution.
I am OK at flashing etc but am stuck now. Phone is stuck at Sony logo and won't go any further.
Phone is an Xperia M4 (E2303) and the bootloader is locked - have tried unlocking it but get 'Failed - command not allowed' so i'm guessing it is not unlockable!
I can't get into recovery (nothing happens when i try) and cant get into FlashMode either. I plug usb into phone while holding the volume down key. I CAN get into Fastboot mode which seems to work fine and is recognized ok by PC - drivers all installed ok.
Is there a way of flashing an FTF using Fastboot rather than Flashmode? or even installing any recovery. I have 32 and 64-bit Flashtool installed, i have FTF files and i have EMMA.
Can anyone help please? I would be very grateful - many thanks - ian
With bootloader locker you won't be able to flash anything. I had the same problem.
Desperately, my friend thought it was a good idea to put the phone on the refrigerator for a while.
Surprisingly, in the next day, I turned it on and the cold phone booted normaly and then I was able to set OEM unlock authorization on developer settings and unlocked the bootloader with sony unlock key.
Then I tried to flash a twrp, but I'm stuck back on boot loop again, and fridge didn't help this time.
Power OFF phone, then hold together for at least 30 sec in this order "volume down" + "volume up" + "power button". Then release 3 buttons and try to power on phone with power button. This procedure will revert your phone back to default settings.

Hi there,
Same problem as OP here.
I am trying to revive my wife ex-phone, model 2303 which has been forgotten for two years at least.
Stock rom
No root
Bootloader locked
Stuck at Sony Logo when starting up the phone.
Can boot in FastBoot (blue light) and is detected by PC
Can boot in FlashMode (green light) but PC doesn't detect anything. Nothing appears in Peripherals.
Any advices ?
What can be done in FastBoot mode with a locked bootloader ?

Thank your for your advices.
But in Flashmode the phone does not even appear in computer peripherals manager.
In FastBoot, Sony Emma does not detect phone neither.

Flashtool only detects fastboot mode, stuck on Sony logo

Hi there,
my mate gave me his Xperia Z2 asking if I could fix it. He said it's stuck in boot loop. I thought it'd be an easy fix but I am experiencing a problem that I think (I hope I'm wrong) is hardware related.
The phone is indeed stuck on the sony logo and won't go past it. It responds to power+volume up (buzzes 3 times). I can put it into fastboot mode (blue LED, flashtool recognizes the phone in fastboot mode). However, I can't put it into flashmode (LED goes green, but flashtool doesn't recognize it, Windows and Sony Companion doesn't either btw).
Has anyone had this problem before and knows how to fix it or is it indeed a hardware issue?
TIA guys
Cheers
Edit: All the drivers are installed, I have tried two different computers, previous flashings were no prob.

Okay, thanks, will do that. I would have liked to find a way without unlocking the bootloader (wanted so save keys first) but it seems that it's the only way since I can't make it into flash mode. Will give an update after!
Hi there.
Unfortunately I couldn't unlock the bl. I assume, USB debugging isn't enabled. Any ideas?

Just to clarify: I can access fastboot mode fine, it's just flash mode that isn't recognized! Will post an update.

Ah, I see. Well, anyway, I tried to find a way to force the phone into flash mode but nothing worked. Very annoying but I think I'm gonna call it quits.
Thanks for your help anyway, appreciated!
It seems like a firmware issue than a hardware one.
It's either falshtool compatibility issues , a soft-bricked phone or both.
1 - Try using an older version of flashtool like 0.9.18.6 and see if flashmode works.
2 - If you know the current firmware version
you can just flash the stock, signed kernel via fastboot.

Are you sure you have the proper flashtool drivers installed? What's the Windows and Flashtool version? And have you connected any other Xperia device in flashmode mode to the same pc before?
I am saying that it is 90% a driver issue..
-Try disabling Driver signature on Windows 10 or 8 then reinstalling Flashmode AND Xperia Z2 drivers from the folder drivers in the main flashtool folder, then restart the pc..
- Try connecting a different USB cable
- Try connecting to a different USB port..
- And when you want to flash the firmware.. Select flash.. Select the firmware.. Check the wipe options (optional).. Press flash.. And after that when flashtool asks to connect the device in flashmode connect it.. Do not connected it BEFORE pressing flash..
Hope this will help you.. Have a good time..
Bye
