Hi everyone !
I have a little problem with substratum and andromeda. In fact I used it on my Oneplus 5T but recently I wanted to update my apps and phone. So I tried to connect to substratum but I can't anymore. I enabled debugging on my phone, I connected it with my windows computer and started andromeda, but it doesnt work. So I uninstalled all my overlays with offline mode, I deleted and redownloaded andromeda and substratum. But it still doesn't work.
I'm on windows 8, my Oneplus 5t is on Android Oreo 8.1.0 and oxygenOS 5.1.4.
Thank you for your help !

On my computer I click on start Andromeda, I press a Key, a black pop up appears on which is written "daemon started succesfully" and then I have different errors : https://imgur.com/Oc2nPed
And on my phone, the connection status is "disconnected" and red.
I am on the classic Oneplus Rom (Android 8.1.0 and Oxygen OS 5.1.5). And my computer is on Windows 8. And I downloaded Andomeda here https://forum.xda-developers.com/app...notes-t3668682 (Windows batch script).

Hello,
When I plug mk888 (android tv box) or Milestone 2 to my computer looking for drivers. Not so alone it is pointing. Installs however, there is code 10 Under windows 8 turned off checking the compatibility of the controller. I still have the same problem. I downloaded the drivers rockusb and the computer does not want to "accept". The same thing I have with drivers for motorola. The strange thing is that on another computer with Windows Vista I have the same problem.
I checked the original cable motorola and samsung.
Connected it without the debug mode (SD mode) and it worked.
But when I turn these modes I can not get it to install the drivers: (
I do not know what's going on.
Milestone has CyanogenMod 9
MK888 is an android 4.2.2
My computer has Windows 8 x64 with all updates
Win 8?

Thank you for the quick reply.
I found a similar movie before. I did it, but Dalen does not work. It shows that supposedly has recorded but did not work, and shows error code 10
The devices manager I have this:
Class for rockusb devices:
Rockusb Devices (with a black exclamation mark).
Similarly for motorola adb.
any news ideas ?

Hi,
Need to know if someone has connected the phone with "Motorolla Device Manager" through USB? If so how?
From past two days I have been trying mine to connect, however, it only connects to the windows and I see the files etc. but not to the MDM.
I tried un-installing, re-installing, re-booting but nothing seems to be working for windows 8.1 64 bit.
I have googled and searched on the Motrolla site with no luck.
I have unrooted Moto-E XT 1022 4.4.2.

The MDM is still not working. When it's installed at the last step the installation says that the MDM icon would appear. It never does. Manually starting the MDM, starts the software updater which also errors out at the end. See attached screenshots.
After some work around on enabling the USB Debugging and then turning on the MTP, I do get a Media device on windows. In the drivers I could see the Motorola ADB Interface and my XT1022 as a portable device. See attached screenshot.
Strangely, when both the MTP and PTP are unslected then with only the USB debugging on, the device is not recognised as the windows doesn't find the drivers. See Attached screenshot.
Probably, the problem is with the MDM and it's drivers which are Motorola specific.
Another question I am wondering about is what functions does MDM provides, apart from software update?
Use this.. Uninstall Motorola device manager, reboot.. Then install it..

Also please search the forum before posting.. I found this on frequently asked questions thread in q&a section.. Hope it helps[emoji106]

Still the MDM is not working.
These seem to be older versions of the driver. The problem seems to be specifically with the MDM and it's specific drivers as I am successfully able to connect to my Moto E for Tethering & use it as mobile hotspot.
Can any one point me to the functionality of MDM?
Same question

Motorola has released Motorola Device Manager V2.5.4. This has solved the driver related issues I've had on Win 8.1.
Uninstall the older version before installing the newer version.
Edit: Download Motorola Device Manager from https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481
I installed 2.5.4

Sorry, I am still suffering this problem
Same problem here..
anyone got a solution?
I am using Windows 8.1 64bit. Mdm is working fine for me
Sam problem here with Windows 8.1 64-bit Motorola device manager 2.5.4
On the same computer I was able to run virtual machine with Windows 7 32-bit and it worked correctly. So it is nothing wrong with the hardware on either end. just Windows 8.1 driver issue.
Hi everyone, i've got some problem with my phone.
Phone : HTC One Mini 2
Rom : NostromoPop 2.4.0 updated from 2.3.0 (in this thread => https://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/orig-development/rom-nostromopop-0-1-2-15-1-15-t3004418)
Android 5.1.1 Cyanogen 12.1 Unofficial
Rooted, Obviously.
Xposed framwork v87
I think this problem is more global than this rom or the phone. That's why I did not specify my phone or the rom in the title.
Recently, i can't acces to my phone on my PC, it's invisible. In the device manager, the MTP Device send me an error code 10 (the device cannot start). it worked fine 2 weeks ago.
Until then, the problem seems banal but ...
After trying several methods found on the net to solve this kind of problem (reinstall driver, edit registry, many reboots, ...), the mtp always don't work.
I try on other usb, on other pc, with other cable, same.
I try with 2 Windows 7 64bits and 1 Windows 10 64bits. On windows 7 they do the same thing. I connect the phone, it appear on device manager with no problem, but won't appear in "My PC" and after 1 min~, It show me the error code 10. And on windows 10, anything is good on device manager but the phone don't appear in "My PC" either.
Change MTP to PTP gray the menu but nothing more append.
But ADB work, Network sharing to USB work, And MTP on TWRP work.
I think the problem is in android but I don't want to reinitialize my phone right away. (Unless i have no choice)
My phone restarted alone during a ride with the gps. Maybe a causal link.
I am looking for ideas or solutions for this issue.
Thank you in advance
PS : Sorry for my bad english, I speak fluently the google translate.
No response ... At least I try
So a little bit of background , I was using pitchblackrecovery on my poco f1 and crDroid as my daily driver but then I wanted to flash the oofgang Oneplus 7 port rom. So I flashed their TWRP and everything else but the rom wasn't stable (you had to flash system, vendor etc etc separately) as it wasn't working that well so I switched to arrow os 11.0 + d8g kernel now the phone is also not booting neither the recovery. So I thought of going in fastboot method but my linux machine keeps saying "<waiting for any device>" this was a problem while I was trying to unlock the bootloader also but it was miraculously fixed. I am using linux as my main driver and can't switch to windows as its just to much hassle . Any help would be very much appreciated.

Use usb 2.0 ports. If any friend has a Windows PC try that. I don't know much about linux on pc. Does it need any drivers like windows to interact with external devices ? On windows you can also try miflash.

As it apparently turns out I was using a bad cable. Anyways thanks for your help.
So guys I have a problem..
I decided to make a change on my Mi Pad 2 from MIUI to Windows 10 and AOSP 5.1 dual boot. I successfully install the dual boot and both Windows and AOSP works perfectly fine without any problem, I can even switched between OS without any problem.
Even though the AOSP came with it is only Lollipop 5.1, I don't really mind about that, but the Windows version is 1511. Update has been stopped for Windows 10 version 1511 and A LOT of Windows app won't install on this device as there are security reasons with early version of Windows, so I decided to manually updating Windows and now I'm currently on version 20H2.
First problem, Wi-Fi not working, had some trouble but I already fix that. Now I can download any apps from the Windows Store and also have Wi-Fi connectivity.
Next problem, the update probably messed up the partition, the boot to Android cmd prompt is not working anymore. Which means I could not boot into Android anymore. Every time I turn on the device it directly went into Windows 10. Even when I press the boot to Android it will restart the device then reboots back into Windows 10. Does anyone have the same problem and perhaps have a solution?
I have been searching for solutions but to no avail. So, how to boot to Android?
Извините, хотел у вас спросить как вам удалось обновить виндовс, подскажите пожалуйста.
