hi, have some difficulties to flash twrp.img
i try fastboot flash recovery recovery.img but i get this error

Hi there,
was wondering did you put the recovery file into the installation folder of ADB
yes, thats not the the problem, i manage to root my phone but cant to write TWRP, i get the same msg tried many toolkits and results is the same...
Since Oreo: Partition names have changed and "recovery" changed to "recovery_ramdisk".
Try:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk twrp.img

1. I tried to flash it with the SPFlashTool and with the scatter & recovery files. But the problem is that it loads the old stock recovery. While I got the green check that download is ok.
2. I tried to do this with ADB, but it seems like that this does not work either, I'm getting the error:

Used the SPFlashTool tool with an original OS & scatter file, and pointed the recovery to my own recovery file, and used the option 'format all + download'
I did a wipe with twrp and there was nothing left on my phone...
Then i searched on the web and flashed the boot.img recovery.img and some other things but it says:
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes
sending 'recovery' (32096 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.715s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished. total time: 0.724s
Phone is unlocked..
When i try the update.app and boot into the installer it goes to twrp

You need to make this command :
fastboot flash ramdisk "patched_ramdisk.img"
Until yours [emoji846]
failed to install twrp

where did i get this file? did i need to rename the twrp.img to patched_ramdisk.img.

i renamed twrp.img to patched_ramdisk.img then thake cmd and typed like this;;;

some weeks ago i read on forum that miui10.0.3 or 4 has some fastboot errors,
for example if you have flashed miui10.0.3 or 10.0.4 and then try to write recovery it will give error in fastboot
i would suggest flash miui10.0.1 or earlier via miuiflasher fastboot rom and then try!
