I rooted my phone this morning and flashed xposed on magisk right after. Also flashed the Google sans font module and the cloudfare module. And then I rebooted the device. But it has been stuck on the boot screen for almost an hour.
Does any one know what could have caused this? Any notable fixes?
Not all magisk modules and xposed are compatible. Flash stock firmware
Most probably its the xposed, there is no way right now to use XPOSED on miui based on 8.1 oreo.

Xposed is the culprit.
Here's how you uninstall problematic magisk module from twrp since you're stuck in bootloop
https://magiskroot.net/uninstall-ma..._Module_with_Magisk_Manager_for_Recovery_Mode
Thanks to everybody for their replies. I flashed the stock ROM using MiFlash tool and it worked. Thankfully didn't lose anything important in the process.
There's a list of "reliable" magisk modules for Poco F1? I just installed AnxCam (MIUI Cam Port) and Youtube Vanced and I'm impressed with'em.
If he uninstalled magisk instead as stated in link below, would that work? Isn't it systemless?

I'm on stock s19 indian ROM. XPOSED worked without any problems until i use SuperSU as root manager. I switched to Magisk and now i can't able to install systemless XPOSED. It stuck in booting screen. I tried the normal version with Magisk, got it installed properly, safetynet passed with patch, but modules didn't worked.
So what should i do to have working XPOSED with Magisk?
I tested it and this works:
Bought N950F DS.
Instaled TWRP as in this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73817280&postcount=3
Part 3 - Magisk.
I did not flash custom rom, i wanted to stay on stock. (no system format)
Flashed Magisk 14.5
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/beta-magisk-v13-0-0980cb6-t3618589
Boot into system, configure in Magisk
install xposed (api 25),
finally you will have after few reboots xposed v89.
(Install some modules, but remember to backup in TWRP before every module installation.
For me, some of them caused TouchWiz to not show on start, had to do few reboots (bixby + power + volume down long press).
For example do not install firefdskit.
GravityBox is working fine for me now.
Also Kmod for whatsapp.)
In this state Android Pay wont work.
To get it working there is currently only one option i know:
Install this:
RootSwitch 1-3-3-16
https://www.asus.com/zentalk/tw/for...5MjEyfDVlYzZhYzljfDE1MTM3NDk3NzN8MHwxNzM1NDI=
After installing DO NOT TOUCH TOP ROOT SECTION.
Only use xposed section:
Switch xposed to off, soft reboot, install Android Pay, add card.
Whenever you need to pay in shop you have to do it (turn xposed off), later you can switch on, soft reboot and use modules.
Waiting for better way....but everyone says that Android Pay will never work with xposed so this is currently only option for me since phone without xposed is unusable.
You can also just install Xposed with magisk, and then you can enable/disable the xposed module whenever you need safetynet

No, you disable the Xposed module in magisk. That basically.uninstalls Xposed on next boot. And you can re-enable it.

no, in magisk 14.5 i have few modules installed, but there is no xposed, when i was installing xposed magisk told me to download xpsed apk installer, so xposed is separated, not as uncheckable module.
Hi all?
Can someone confirm that we can be on stock rom while using magisk and twrp?
I mean replace stock recvery by twrp, root with magisk and continue to use stock rom instead of flashing custom rom.
I m on iron man rom (custom) wich is very nice. I want to try the lastest samsug rom (lastest firmware BQKG) with twrp, magisk and xposed?
Do you think it s possible without any issue like popup error windows or other problems?
Thank for your help
What cpu?
Does this work for snapdragon orrr...?

Depends.
Definitely check the Snapdragon root section and check your Bootloader version, how to is described in the SamFail thread.

You could, yes. There's no rule to must have a custom rom in order to use Magisk/ have root. Just be sure to check the "How-To root" thread for simple instructions.

Not sure how that is, but you installed Magisk first and then Xposed with Magisk.
It's by that definition a Module of Magisk, which you can just disable inside Magisk regardless what Xposed's actual status is (ON or OFF).
No need to worry, just toggle it OFF inside Magisk. Your Xposed apps may FC, but that's the tradeoff for being able to use SafetyNet at will.
My phone XZ1 boots fine after installed Magisk Xposed module by rovo89 but caused bootloops after second reboot. I had to uninstall Magisk in order to get it boot again.
My firmware is 47.1.A.12.270 with custom kernel by Ajmal Safi. Xposed and Magisk just updated in this month but I don't want to try install it again. I don't want to re-install all modules from Magisk and re-setup some stuff again
I want to hear if anyone are using or have tried systemless Xposed on XZ1. if so, is it working fine?
Is it possible that sound mods such as V4a, sauron, adm lib cause bootloop?
I uninstalled each of them individually in twrp, but it was still in bootloop.
Was this caused by youtube vanced apk along with microg plugin?

I'm using V4A as well as the youtube vanced modules, none of them caused any bootloops, the only bootloop i did get was probably only when i used the xposed module.
Here's what you should try, Install magisk manager for recovery mode module and delete every other module, then check them one by one, if they cause bootloops. Install a module, reboot, don't install another one. If you do get a bootloop at any instance, go to recovery mode and open up the terminal in advanced and type in : /data/media/mm then just follow on screen instructions and disable the module causing the bootloop.

I have also installed Magisk and Arise Magnum Opus and now i am in bootloop.
I tried to restore my previous backup, but it was not success.
The phone directly boots into FASTBOOT if i flash LOS16 fresh image and if i flash Magisk along with LOS16, it doesn't show any FASTBOOT but stays in bootloop.
The vendor partition have some weird amount of memory looks like 17592186043943MB!
Please help to recover the issue asap.
I installed YouTube vanced from magisk manager and rebooted directly into recovery and then flashed the notification icon enabler from TWRP and was then just bootlooping to TWRP. I uninstalled the notification enabler with the disabler given by the same website but the phone still bootlooped. I uninstalled YouTube vanced from TWRP terminal but the phone still bootlooped. Tried to restore a nandroid backup but in vain.
The only thing that seemed to be working was uninstalling magisk using the official uninstaller and the phone booted to system but I obviously lost root.
Had to flash the ROM through fastboot which formats the phone and then unlock , install TWRP and root again.
So I have finally updated my s9+ (exynos) to android 10 and now I can't get edxposed (yahfa/sandhook) to work. After successfully installing them through either magisk manager or directly from TWRP it now boots to download mode?? However, I can successfully go back to TWRP and remove the modules and boot as normal.
Does anyone have a working version of edxposed installed on their android 10 device or know how to resolve this?
I've had edxposed worked on previous soldier rom but the modules rarely supports android 10. Now I'm on alexander rom, waiitng the modules to keepup. I can't share how, but xposed ing android 10 isn't worth now because of the modules not working. And maybe that's your bootloop cause.

Have you got it working on stock? Fortunately, the modules I use are sparse and they should be working. Though I might have to revert to Pie if I can't get it to work. Can't live without those modules XD
Regarding your mention of the modules causing bootloop, it is not because of them. I think. Edxposed is supporting android Q and the other modules from Magisk is running fine on android Q atm. It's EdXposed that causes the phone to boot to download mode.
Custom Soldier rom
Very strange, because I'm having this issue on LineageOS 17.1 on my S9.
Flashed twrp on g965f with android 10 cant boot on it why?
Tried many versions of twrp
If you have Edxposed Manager try canary release of Edxposed.
Edxposed exynose
I don't know how by I managed to install edxposed on galaxy s9+ G965f and it's working perfectly. I was having problem with boot at first when I installed it as normal as we always do. Then when I boot it enters to Download mode. So I uninstalled Edxposed from twrp recovery and it booted. I stil wanted Xposed on my phone so I kept latest Riru core v21.2 and Riru (YAHFA) v0.4.6.1 and rebooted my phone. Afterwards I installed edxposed manger n rebooted again by this time around it hanged again. Went to recovery and uninstalled Edxposed n rebooted the system. I went to Edxposed manager by it says Xposed is not installed.ok I then installed Xposed MANAGER BY DVD and rebooted agn ...u may wondering why I installed 2 Xposed manager by it did the magic after I rebooted my phone.BOOOM
