It's a known issue with MIUI. The Poco team said they're talking to the Android Auto team about resolving it. You can see the latest in the weekly updates they issue.

Honor 7 PLK-UL00 Recent apps not showing.

I am using latest EMUI version 4.0 in Honor 7 (PLK-UL00C675B351). It's recently used apps button when touched, is not showing anything, rather it turns my wallpaper black for a second and then restores. I have recorded my screen to show the exact problem being faced by me (thanks to new screen recording feature given in EMUI 4.0). I am not able to provide the link to the screen recording due to being a new member in xda.
Due to this I am unable to switch between apps and also not able to stop the unwanted apps that keep on running. Please tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

Did you try a factory reset after backing up your apps and data using hisuite app?
You can restore the backup later and check if the problem still persists?

Have a factory reset and check as said in previous post.

I have a faced this problem too. I solved it by uninstalling the latest installed apps one by one. In my case seven adclear was probably causing this issue. You can try it too. Uninstalling is less pain than an entire reset.

Hi, I had tried each and everything for it. From factory reset to manual updating to existing EMUI version. Nothing solved that problem.
Few days back I was lying on my bed, exploring some unknown features. I came through the 'Floating Dock'. This thing actually solved my issue. This floating icon on home screen has a button which clears all apps consuming power and takes the phone to optimal level. After using it, my recent app widget issue is not creating that problem. I am happy now. Thanks for your help too.
Floating Dock helped me

BTW, the problem is temporarily solved by using floating dock. Lets see what happens after some days.

Anyone know what /system/bin/pm-service is?

According to top in terminal, pm-service is consistently using 30% CPU.
Anyone got any ideas what this service is, and if it's something I can disable or fix?
Or, any recommendations on potential fixes?

It should be a Power Management Service. Google it shows that LG phones have this program. On my phone, Smartisan M1L, there is no such process.
Hmm interesting, I'm running the experimental LineageOS version on my Xiaomi Mi Mix.
Do you think it could be dangerous to disable?

After further digging I discovered it's the "Peripheral Manager Service", I also found in Logcat that I have errors going constantly related to my fingerprint scanner.
Could these be related?
People talk in the thread for my ROM also about the NFC chip causing issues, so they disabled that completely by removing the /system/vendor/app and /system/lib files related to it.
I wonder if I can do the same for fingerprint?

Google Feed - Blank

Hi,
My Google Feed is blank unless I go into settings and come back out without changing anything. I've flicked between Feed Enabled and Feed Disabled but still nothing.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue on a BLA-L29 129 firmware?
Thank you.
did you try to delete the data of "google" app in the settings?
it happened to me and this resolved it

So far so good, thank you
I have tried deleting the data and restarting but I still have a blank page. The only way I can get it to work is by opening the google app in the play store....it is very strange
When you are on the google Now Site (blank) then give the command "ok google" - what happened then? In my case - then the results appear. This was the issue with the firmware BLA-L29 C432 129. BLA L29 C432 131 it startet with normal working. And finaly with BLA-L29 C432 137 first weeks same issue. No content on the site till "ok google" and since 2 Weeks everything is working well. I don't change anything in settings - one day doesnt work without ok google - next day works like expected.
the issue has returned for me. I am on BLA-L29 C432 129.
uninstall the update - it's happening on various devices - i removed the update after experiencing the issues and voila all working again

I have auto updates turned off permanently, but I selected update all by mistake, which caused the issue, at first thought it was something else, so went through clearing the data and cache.

Having the same issue here-tried following the steps to clear the data but to no avail. Yet another Huawei app problem. My BBC news widget fails to update constantly too.
Same problem here, when you open your feed click on the search bar and then on any free soave on the screen. It should come back for a bit. Very annoying

Problem with HUAWEI device
Hi, I recently changed from a P20 PRO to a Mate 20 PRO, I used to check my google feed every now and then and I loved it, never had a issue, but since I made the change the feed is blank and in the options or configuration part the letters of the options are gray. I restarted the phone, installed older versions of google, etc. Some help please!

Problem while scrolling in some apps

I'm using 9.6.22 build, some apps have this issue when we try to scroll. The previous items overlap in the list and look like what's there in the bottom. Like playstore, phone, WhatsApp... I've only noticed it happening in these places. I'll attaching screens, but better you guys see it for yourself by trying. Incase you guys are not facing any issue on the same build, tell it in this thread.
You didn't mention you 'issue' in specific.

Me too, tried scrolling in different ways in playstore and phone but no such issues are present.
I can confirm. Happening to me. In pixel experience and arrow GSI images as well. I think it's a app optimisation problem. With the rounded edges and everything our device has a very weird resolution.
Can someone confirm this is not a hardware problem. ....?

I cannot confirm it (as I'm still hoping it's solvable) but I think that scrolling at the sides issue and touch problems don't happen in TWRP recovery. I may be wrong but when I scrolled through files in TWRP it seemed perfectly fine.
I started noticing this after I updated the phone, before that it was perfectly fine. Can people confirm this in the previous build 9.6.14? If so then we might have a big problem
Guess update was not good. That's why they chose to rollback. I changed to miui 10, and now everything is fine again. So it's not a hardware issue.
Confirmed, I had the same issue on my Xiaomi Mi 8 on a gsi.
Try using 9.6.14 build, or update to the recent miui 10, it's a software bug, not a hardware problem. That's probably why they rolled back the recent update.

Question Android Auto

Has anyone managed to get Android Auto working? I've tried all sorts of USB cables, including the one that came with the phone. I also have an Android Auto Wireless dongle and that doesn't work either.
I am hoping I don't have any issue when my arrives. Did you get it to work at all for any amount of time?
I use Android Auto all the time, that would be a deal breaker for me!
i was not able to use android auto…
For Android Auto, any solution ? I use Eyeride 2 with my moto and i need it work !!!
Android Auto doesn't seem to be working. I even turned on the USB File Sharing/Android Auto option in the developer menu. When I connect to my car, It says "Communication error 22 - Android Auto didnt come pre-installed with this operating system". Looks like we'll need to wait for the global rom.

I dont mean to ask a silly question such as this but any chance there is an AA APK that can be installed to see if that works???

I was able to install the AA app from the Playstore without the need to sideload. No harm in trying a side load, I have very little hope though.

So just an update to my post. Side loading android auto doesn't work either. Instead of throwing an Error 22, the phone just doesn't get recognized by my car.

I tried the same thinig and got the same result. If I side loaded too old a version, it forced me to upgrade. I've read a bit about this being an issue that was introduced into Chinese roms with Android 11, and some of the posts seemed to indicate it is a Android Auto development team problem; so it might be solved if/when the Find N gets upgraded to Android 12 as some of the other Oppo phones seem to be already on Android 12.
The one plus car app doesnt work with m'y Android head unit
