Thanks for who tested the app for me on OnePlus 6, I have given promo codes for the pro version.
I'd like one, if that's possible
Looks sick, i didn't know I needed this in my life, and I can free up even more status bar space now, but is there some way to not have the bar so thick?
EDIT: oh I just saw, the pro version has this feature, does it also, maybe, have the alternative to not use the standard pixel wall?

I don't have an extra phone at hand until noon, I shall post a picture then, but the battery is perfectly centered around the notch, there is an extra milimeter or two of batterybar rendered under the notch

Thanks alot, I do have this alternative solution meanwhile, whilst the edges are roughly 1-1.5 mm, this is the bottom part with the cutout exactly where the notch ends
EDIT: this is the wrong edit, I cannot replace it with labs app so next post I guess

Correct one, other one had a tad too little of a cutout, where the arrow points is a little wave that splits into a ">", the notch ends at the exact same height of that wave before it splits, for some kind of reference

Yes, the thickness can be altered in the pro version. The next update will also make it optionally even smaller.

Nice I didn't know about all of those apps
This must be for the international version because it mentions editing video. I also don't think I've seen all of the exact same buttons pop up on some of the screens this shows.
It probably is. They mention one handed keyboard, but if you go into your settings, that option isn't there on the AT&T version
Most of them can be added...thus the reason for this thread.
Planning on updating with apks as I find them

any left handed tips on that page. im tired of the inaccuracy of the left hand aspect. the s-pen is made for right handed people plain and simple. and that sucks. we need a calibration app of some kind.
but i can not check the facebook page as i do not have a facebook account.

yes but it does not do a flippin thing.....lol
put it simply...when i write with my right hand on either setting the line is right under the tip of the pen. when i write with the left hand on either setting the line is always about 4-5 pixels to the left pretty much under the pen and not the tip. which makes writing and drawing a guessing game once you stop the first line.
try it out, i know it makes no difference with right handers.......but you would think they could have at least gotten the left hand setting correct. and move the line accordingly...lol
just my main nit pick of the s-pen. but i still use it regularly.....i just hate that i have to adjust instead of being able to adjust IT<<

Here here, me too!
Just wanted to share this with everyone. Nice alternative to Nova Launcher, there's the option to hide apps w/o paying for the app (for now). There are a few hiccups here and there, but generally I must say it is considerably smoother than Nova overall. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1452663
Is the link to the thread, I take no credit for this app, just sharing. Enjoy!

I had seen this one before but for some reason never downloaded it. Don't know what was holding me back. Hmm. Oh well. Thanks for the recommendation. Gonna play around with it for a while and see if it can take down Nova as my launcher of choice.
The appdrawer is considerably smoother than nova, as well as the home screen. There are some nice featues on this launcher for sure, and the hide apps. I already bought nova before I saw the update, but oh well $4 is just $4 . There is some lag in the widgets section with some transitions, but I'm sure the dev will fix it eventually.

I was just about to edit my post and say that the scrolling is noticeably smoother. I'm diggin this one. Plus the Apex Menu is a nice touch since I have Swipe Down to show that menu. I can then change my wallpaper or add a widget from there. Don't know why, but long pressing to add a widget annoys me lol and I never really use the in-drawer widget selector as much as I thought I would. I paid for Nova, too, but don't really mind since I did it more to help the dev out.
Again, thanks for the rec! This is nice
EDIT: Oh, and the infinite scroll in the app drawer...biiiiig bonus for me.
I really am digging the double tap to bring up the menu. But I can confirm it's just the software, friends Gnex also has the same lag that I do.
This launcher is really nice. I think it might take down Nova after all. It has what I need on the phone. Gonna keep an eye on that thread and might start using it on my Prime soon, too.

Yeah I already took down Nova and uninstalled. Hopefully it'll be smoother in the future, but the homescreens and the app drawer with no lag, with all the features Apex = win. I'm pretty stoked for the new Prime that's coming out, thinking about picking it up.

EDIT: Also, if GPS isn't a concern for you, I would purchase a Prime now. The next one will just have the GPS fix and a better resolution screen, but it would be hard to tell the upgrade in screen on a screen this small. I don't use GPS on my Prime, so this thing is perfect for me.

Yeah, my wifi was never an issue for me, but my GPS will only work if I'm standing still. I just don't use it anyway, so it's no concern to me and the $100 extra isn't enough to make me want the slightly better screen. I think that one is supposed to be out late this year. Then again, that's what ASUS said about this Prime and it took almost 4 months for me to get mine. Hopefully they learned their lesson and you can actually get it when you order it.

Apex Launcher is sweet. I had to change my minimum scrolling time from zero to like 7 to get it scroll quickly though.
On a side note. Does anyone know if Anddoes will fix Fancy Widgets to fit our Rezound screens correctly? The flip clock doesn't size correctly on our devices.

Not too sure if they resized the widgets. But yeah If ind that if the timer is at 0 the desktop seems kinda laggy. I wonder the fps of both launchers on the home screen when it comes to scrolling through screens. ICS claims it has it up to 60.. but it seems like it's 30 fps, that or my eyes are just too picky . Hopefully the developer will address the issues w/ homescreen smoothness.
Hey guys,
SwiftKey seems to be somewhat proactive about the "features" they pursue. There are two features that would make SwiftKey killer, don't troll me with "stock keyboard", IMO it's terrible and an afterthought:
Number Row (toggleable?): http://support.swiftkey.net/forums/...uggestions/2220958-number-row-optional-5-row-
Condensed keyboard (for one-handed operation,): http://support.swiftkey.net/forums/...ensed-mode-for-one-handed-operation-slide-all
Hit the links and submit your votes!
ncamsre evolution
The one-handed operation is the only thing keeping me from using Swiftkey on my Note 2. Hopefully they add it in!
I voted, thanks! :good:
Number row keeps me on stock. If they added that, man, I would rock that keyboard.
I wish the predictions were better. It's tiring having to be accurate all the time...

Once I actually went into the Samsung keyboard settings and turned on the predictive text, I am mostly happy with the results. Happy enough to live without SwiftKey for now at least.
both of these features are needed on this phone
I love SK3. It's great. A number row would be awesome but if you shorten the press duration it's pretty easy to get at numbers and characters.

You must use your phone in portrait mode mainly. I use this more as a media device than a phone so mine stays in landscape and I barely have enough room with the current setup, but as long as it's an optional setting I don't care.

I dont really understand how that is supposed to work though.
I ordered and received the Space Shield case today. Quality is okay from a case perspective, but the quality of the art on the back is done really well.
The live wallpaper and general setup of the case is done through an app called Live Case that's hosted by Google Marketing in the Play Store (not where the rest of Google's apps are hosted). There doesn't appear to be any other way to get the live wallpaper without it (yet).
I haven't seen the wallpaper during the day, but so far the night mode is pretty neat. The most flexibility you can get out of the button is to have it open an app for you, which I've assigned to a custom App Factory app from Tasker.
I'll probably use it for a few days and then go back to one of my other cases. I'm not a Skrillex fan either, I just thought the idea was cool.
Why doesn't Google actually sell cases that protect your phone? I don't understand that.

Locked screen launching is a negative.
