I flashed Resurrection Remixv6.2 for my Redmi Note 4(mido) SD 625.
Now IRCTC app is not working. It is saying your is rooted. Please unroot.
I have not given root permission.
Is it because the bootloader is unlocked or because of the custom ROM?
Note: Google Pay(Tez) and ICICI internet banking apps are working.

How do I root note 2 prime? I installed the stable rom of xiaomi.eu, the miui 7, and I installed after the flash of the rom the supersu via the TWRP. Sadly, it doesn't work(binary thing is missing...)
Any idea?
Maybe install a developer rom? It has got integrated root

If you open the Security app, go to Permissions > Root access, you should see a list of apps which have requested root access and you can grant it one by one. No SuperSU binary required.
Running xiaomi.eu 5.10.16 on Redmi Note 2 Prime.
I'm running the xiaomi.eu dev ROM (5.11.26 right now) and it's pre-rooted.
The root permission manager is in the Security app.
It seems that it a common knowledge the Dev ROM is pre-rooted, yet for some reason when I flash the latest Beta Dev Rom, the Root access has been removed.
Download and flash supersu 2.52
Hi, I just unlocked my bootloader. I am on MIUI 7.3.6.0 on Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon. Bootloader was unlocked officially.
I am completely new to Android scene (my first Android), so I have no idea what works how.
Where can I find an updating rooting guide to my phone with latest MIUI? Each step by step.
Also would be much more awesome if someone here who is experienced could guide me through the whole rooting process on Skype chat.
Please, thank you!

Backup you data by miui inbuild. Flashed a miui 7 cn dev rom. Goto security > root permision then you it will offer you to root the phone. Once rooted, used flashify to flash alka twrp: http://en.miui.com/thread-282773-1-1.html?mobile=2. By using alka twrp you can flashed any official rom and flashed superSU.zip once completed you new rom will be rooted by superSU. Else you can referred to flasher toolkit: http://en.miui.com/thread-296053-1-1.html. I personally used official cn dev rom, alka twrp, rooted by superSU and xposed v85(xposed-v85-sdk22-arm64-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-20160609.zip). If you preferred multi languages the used alka twrp to flash latest global dev rom and superSU in on go. Done and enjoying.

Hi,
I use custom ROM 6.01 on Note 3.
I found some older tools to hide root, but they don't work with Marshmallow.
Anyone an idea?
Greetings jani
Hi! I've a xiaomi redmi note 4 and it's rooted, but i let the default ROM (MIUI) on it. When i install a system update, than i lose my root access. My question is that, Can i update my rooted MIUI phone somehow, without losing root access?
Hi everyone. Am new to redmi note 9s. But was previously using a redmi note 5 pro. I used revolution is ROM as it didn't have root enabled and my banking apps worked without issues. Can anyone confirm if any ROMs have root disabled or can be disabled for the note 9s as I don't think revolution has a rom or is still developing them...
The majority of ROMs don't have root enabled.
thats good, i didnt realise, so banking apps should mostly work on majority of roms?
Yes.
