I tried to flash twrp and now my phone is stuck in a 5 second boot loop.
Fastboot and recovery can't be accessed at all no matter what combination I make. vol+ power, vol- power, both +- power, hold 40 secs 60secs (useless because phone reboots in 5 secs) , all tried. Every 5 seconds it just boot loops. Help me.. I have it for less than a week. Wanted to flash only because the stock rom was giving problems such as landscape and auto random reboots.
I even tried a script which said would wait in adb detect mode, that didn't work. Guess phone rebooted before my pc could detect it. Tried installing intelSOC method as suggested in another thread, the short reboot is tough to get by.
By the way, it's an umidigi china phone.
bump.. pls help!
Hi , let your battery to completely empty , press vol + and plug usb to see if phone goes into Fastboot mode if not try Vol - and plug usb .
Both didn't work. But thanks.

Hello guys , so this is my problem , by mistake i flashed a galaxy y rom on an galaxy ace so now the phone boot up but i cant see anything. the phone boot up normally with the sounds and i can see the icons and the android logo.but i cant do anything.
and i cannot enter on recovery mode nor download mode. I think the boot is messed up . The only solution is a JTAG??
If you don't have the JTAG, no impossible.
Try :
Phone without battery, press Power, Vol+ & Vol-, 30 seconds and reinsert your battery without relasing the combinaison.

It didnt work :/ i tried with all the combinaison and nothing, but the phone still boots up normally and i hear the sound and i can see a the home but cant do anything :/
Press volume up + volume down + power, even if you didn't see anything, plug your phone in your pc and start odin (use 3.07version), it'll find it. Be sure you've installed the driver. Flash a good firmware, if odin fail flash again and normally it will boot.
You're phone is just softbricked, no need a jtag or another stuff.

Try to enter into Download mode by pressing Vol - Home button and Power button at the same time once you feel vibration or you see first logo fast press just Vol + if not , disconnect the battery , press Vol - , Home button and Power button at the same hold like that and plug the battery in and see if the download mode is showing up.
If is OK reflash stock firmware ....
Good Luck
the problem is that when i try to turn it on in any way, doesent matter if its pwr+volume down + home, or just the pwr button it doesent turn on, the only way i can turn it on is by connecting it to the charger and the loop begins...

i have tried this already, i cannot acces download mode or any other mode...
Are your device somehow getting recognised on PC ?
If is recognised try to reboot into download mode or recovery with ADB:
adb reboot download
adb reboot recovery
Or you can try with another battery if not then you should try with sd sdc repair method but you need ATX box
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsyD09IYbxg
Maybe over the internet someone has made for your device , or to ask someone who is expert for creating custom OS boot files to somehow make sd bootable download mode if is possible ....
my pc doesent read that... ur other suggestion with the atx box looks too difficult... so i guess i can sign off the phone :/

First you must to know that all modification on your device below official fabric state can damage your device whatever is Soft Brick or Hard Brick or Hardware issue ....
From start you know you was doing wrong things by choosing A5 2016 instead A5 2017.
Second you can't expect we are magical people primarily I to solve your problem just like that .
You don't need to give up of your phone , there is Service Repair Center send to someone you trust to repair with Micro SD CDC method or to replace new eMMC chip and reflash new OS on your device ...
Next time do little bit more research before doing anything on your own : ) !
yes i know it is my fault, i dont blame you guys about anything, you did what's right, you tried to help me and gave me a solution of the problem wich i apreciate a lot, thank you
Hello!
My phone got stuck in an boot loop out of nowhere.
I let my phone drain it battery the whole day so today I tried holding the volume down and power button after charging it a bit and I got an fast boot and rescue mode option, I pressed it and now its showing me:
FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE
Please Connect Usb Cable
Your Computer and Open Hisuite
Android reboot reason:
AP_S_PMU 80
OCP_LDO28
ocp_ldo28
volumnkey_down_press_process_func
What should I do?

I think you fixed it but for everybody else you should press again Vol down and Power button until it is off.

I think that means u entered bootloader mode because of pressing the power key and the volume down key. But u said it entered bootloader mode automatically.
Hello,
as I wrote in this (now locked) thread, I installed Superior OS and got stuck in bootloop. I get "Galaxy S9+" screen followed by system bootanimation, which repeats itself indefinitely. It doesn't restart by itself, it just boots endlessly.
The problem here is that I can't access recovery or even download mode. I tried to restart (power + volume down) and then quickly press combination to access recovery or download mode. No luck. I couldn't even turn the damn phone off. I just kept restarting.
So I let it drain the battery hoping I could then power the phone on with correct key combination. I tried holding bixby button + volume down while inserting USB. It just started booting up to system with boot animation. I tried holding bixby + volume up, or even power + bixby + volume down. No luck either.
I got correct USB drivers installed, as I flashed the phone with Odin in the past. Odin recognizes phone while it sits on boot animation, but it won't start flashing. ADB or fastboot do not work on bootanimation, as the ROM is freshly installed. I presume it has ADB turned off by default...
I'll be grateful for any ideas and suggestions.
No escape , man. I tried all ( check this rom for galaxy note 9 )
Nice...
I went to service center, they said they can fix it for me. 40 euros for reflash (download mode isn't necessary), 100 euros for complete unbrick. I hope the unbrick isn't necessary and the bootloader is intact. I'll post with update.
I tried to root my phone by magisk.
After flashing a patched boot.img, it's failed to boot into system and I got a message that "the device need factory reset". I clicked yes and everything seems ok,I can boot into system. Then I tried to flash img again. So I boot into bootloader. Unfortunately, this time I got a black screen. The phone doesn't response me anymore.
I tried the software repair in xperia companion but It cannot dected my phone when I hold on volume down and plugged in it. I also tried hold on volume up + power but nothing happened. Hold on power key also no response. The led light always black, only become red when I connect it to my pc.
What should I so now and what's my phone's status? I searched something about 9008 mode and edl but I don't know how to check whether my phone is really turn into that status, my pc cannot dect my phone.
Have the same problem, only with the 5 iii instead. Still looking for a fix.
Try to switch the phone off; then just plug it into your PC without holding the Vol- key. It has happenned a couple of times with me that the phone does not want to boot up, with attempts to get it into FLASH mode by holding the key down throwing more confusion into the mix.
I think there is a low battery protection. Make sure the phone is charged up. Keeps the device from death during a flash.
Red led mean a very low battery. Keep it plugged (not to PC but to power adapter) for 2-3 hours and then try again a force reset.
Never, never try flash or other stuff under 50% battery
Also force restart is keep pressed vol+ and power button (or vol- and power button) till you fell a vibration.
Try this after a good charge

It might require experimenting with service modes and different chargers. I had an early Xperia 1 III that bootlooped while charging after setting up the fingerprint reader. It seems that charging is disabled during booting. It has to finish or enter a service/fault mode.
my phone is having this after doing fastboot --slot=b reboot recovery (which actually I had to do fastboot --set-slot=b and then fastboot reboot recovery). the notification light blinks red. have tried vol up + power, vol down + power, and vol up + down + power for like 30 seconds and nothing

I feel sorry for you brother...such a nice device...OK let's talk what happened, the state now your device is in is called hardbrick and it had a corrupted bootloader or no boot loader, but your device is still alive, in your PC in device manager it lists as Qs USB mode with some number after it like qsusb9008...now this device can only be brought to life with the help of a blankflash file which can flash your boot loader in snapdragon service mode...actually no snapdragon can be hardbricked permanently now you need appropriate blankflash file for your device.. Please don't open the device if some repairmen suggests to do JTAG nothing is necessary all you need is blankflash file which is shared to only Sony testers groups.... Who tests ROMs before release and they hardbrick so they share those files to them.... Please don't loose hope....it takes time but certainly it can be bought back to life... And dont try any flashing utility as there is no functional boot loader on it now and nothing will work...Sony won't provide that for sure and they will say then can only solve by mother board replacement ,don't believe therm your device is perfect it only needs blankflash file as it entered into final safe mode... I ain't regular on XDA if you need any info contact me via my mail [email protected] g ma I'll .com
Have any of you tried this - https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/flash-tool/download-flash-tool/
ok in my case it was the charging IC
