Does huawei's stance still stick?
are they sticking to a non-unlockable bootloader?
how is this legal...
No unlock anymore for any Huawei device.

This has been reported to succesfully provide bootloader codes within hours of request.
Need to pay ober 50$ for unlocking bootloader?!
I've asked this on the non pro version of the forum, no answer yet however.
How is a 3rd party service like that possible?
Did they find a way to reverse engineer the process of generating the unlock codes ?
Maybe... never Huawei again.
damn, I wanted to root my device just to migrate from my dead nexus 6p.
I'm on a Huawei Nexus 6P right now and if it wasn't for my bootloader being unlocked, I wouldn't have been able to work around the Bootloop of Death. The Mate 20 Pro looks great, but not being able to unlock the bootloader is a showstopper.
If someone uses this service with a Mate 20 Pro and unlocks, please post!

I'm pretty sure the person providing the service works for either Huawei or a third-party authorized repair center. Either way, they have access to Huawei's proprietary service software, which is capable of providing you with pretty much every code you could ever need.
That said, I don't understand how they stay in service though, as all it would take would be for Huawei to "buy" an unlock code from them, check their logs for who requested a code for that IMEI and shut their operation down.
u cant unlock the 20 Pros if its not a chinese version...
is it somehow possible to unlock the OEM button in the developer section?
i hoped for it with the update to 9.0.0.153, but still no success.
thx,
You can unlock the Bootloader via funky Huawei, .171 allows this in the dev options, then you pay $50 for the code. There you have it bootloader unlocked.
I'm on the OTA official .171 update and it has OEM Unlock available in Developer options.

Hi, are you on a Chinese M20 Pro or some other model? Was the OEM unlock feature available before the 17 1 upgrade or it has been blocked out before?

Hi there
I'm sorry man, we simply can't, it's a security measurement from Huawei. Unless you use Funky Huawei which it might work but I never tried it since it's paid.
Cheers,

It's quite sad yeah
I was only able to get a code because I bought a phone right on the release date and some months later they don't give them anymore :/
When we buy a phone we have multiple things to search first
Well if you can still get a refund, I would XD

I can't that's the sad part
Same for me,,you must downgrade the version of your phone,,,i downloaded the stock rom from this site https://androidhost.ru/search.html,,,i had download 135 C432 Version and follow this steps
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77706448&postcount=14
For me i used the forcable method,,and flash my phone with dload method,,,,and it's working for me,,,bootloader unlocker with HCU
I think I know why Huawei blocked/stopped the bootloader unlocking services
1. They want to make their devices not able to install official Android
2. They don't want customer to install custom ROM on their devices
3. They don't want customer to install GApps onto their banned devices
Yea, it will effect every huawei device now, I am sad
Me too
I will never buy any ****y huawei
Lost my data
after charge and reboot it did factory reset by self
Chinese variants of EMUI 9 have lots of problems with Google play service,
Google play store Isn't working, .
As a non-chinese there is no use of a smartphone without Google play Service,
So i need to install custom global Rom in my Honor8X(JSN-AL00a),
How to do it?
Bootloader unlocked? Rooted?
If yes, you can rebrand to other regions.
But my device is JSN-AL00a,
Debranding possibl?

No its not possible. Because there is no method to unlock the bootloader. Nobody can sell you the code anymore. I have the same problem. We're stuck. The only solution is to change to a different phone.
Use hcu-client to unlock bootloader.i have 8x max I unlocked by paying 4 euros

Correct, these sites no longer have a solution to unlock Honor 8X. I have personally inquired from all of them. I am willing to pay but nobody at the moment has a workaround.

First of all I'm hating myself for procrastinating this when I could have done it months ago, **** me
Second of all, why is that? They had support for many months, why withdraw it now?
The title says it all. There has been some pressures applied on phone makers to convolute and obfuscate the bootloader unlock that was earlier a breeze. Most Chinese phonemakers nowadays (Xiaomi, ZTE, Nubia Huawei etc) have prevented bootloader from being unlocked on their devices. Is this true for Oppo / Realme too?

This phone was launched on 29th April about only 2 weeks ago. Its only available in India and Indonesia for now. Realme is launching this in Malaysia, France and more countries soon. As the availability widens, development here will too. Give it few weeks.

Bcoz oppo/realme don't use the conventional fastboot mode. The only way to access it is via realme testpoint/bootloader unlock tool
Refer to realme 2 Pro forums, the answers are there

Has anyone tried unlocking their bootloader using the realme deep testing apk? Does this void your warranty, since imei is transmitted to realme/Oppo? Anyone tried it yet? Any alternate exploits available....it seems like ages since I unlocked my Oppo Find 7S.

No, it's the first step after you need the unlock bootloader code and Honor don't give it.
Actually nobody can unlock an honor 10...
Who says that ? I got my bootloader unlocked by an Estonian guy which I paid 10$ to do so. He is/was an Hauwei employee and dumped bootloader codes of any phone which was produced to this day (late 2019). Besides of this service, there is an on chip soldering guide for reading and flashing hardware based, most of it can be found under the radar. Personally I would recommend this guy, but I can't find his website atm, maybe googling it will be easier.
Peace and gl

Dead simple unlock, fastboot flashing unlock. No drama or extra steps required.
