IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Hi all,
This ROM is in a very early development stage, so you can expect a lot of things broken.
Please don't expect to use this ROM as a daily driver.
What is working:
Audio (playback)
Bluetooth
Graphics
Camera - photo, video recording (w/out audio)
Sensors (accelerometer, proximity)
RIL
GPS
Wifi
USB
Video playback (HW/SW)
What is not working:
Audio recording
Sensors (magnetometer, orientation)
Mobile data
Camera
WiFi
System time issues (alarm might not work or start with a delay)
maybe yet something
Download:
AndroidFileHost
* Note: a build installation requires you to use sdcard repartition layout, as the ROM is too huge to fit on non-reparted /system partition.
After a clean installation, 829M of space is occupied on /system partition.
Repartition zip with 1Gb of space on /system
For flashing this zip is required to install chrono kernel
For the repartition details refer to CWM ReParted topic.

I want to check the log to see something prevented the boot.
Go take it in TWRP file manager, it should be in /proc/last_kmsg or last_kmsg2...

Some bugs that i found:
- cannot access app menu by using middle button,
- cannot switch to dark theme,
- internet issues; I can ping other devices in my local network with terminal; ifconfig shows that phone get ip adress on dhcp set on,
- cannot get USB-VBUS to work; in Los 15.1 i can't it get to so maybe i'm doing something wrong,
- backlight not turning on when control buttons are used,
- some graphical glitches - icons are teared.
- camera app disappeared: some kernel modules don't load properly (?).
And pic:

You didn't turn on "USB-VBUS Power" in ChronoKernel Settings. But in this build there is no root access, so we can't enable it.

Try to start rotation second time, it will stop working (as far as I can tell, SensorsBox shows such behavior). Apparently, there were some changes to sensorservice, though, I didn't look at these.
I know about IMEI not showing, to fix we need a libsecril shim lib (which, I believe is not very urgent compared to other issues).

Nice work munjeni, i don't have a xperia go but i saw you and percy_g2 cooperating so i hope that cm10.2 for xperia p will be released asap
You helped a lot in making this booting so thank you
I'm happy for xperia go users and remember to post logcats for him

I will try later this evening. Have class now
Sent from my Xperia™ go using xda app-developers app
How can I help to develop this rom?
I would like to help
Awesome job @munjeni !
You are (one) of the best
I'm sorry but what's the difference between this and the FXP builds? In the FXP thread they're also calling it CM 10.2.
great to see u back in developement 10.2 but i tried to install and get this:
"set_perm: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/cm10_lotus-ota-eng.root.zio
(status 7)
Installation aborted"
EDIT: it has booted !!! i'll test it a bit
Status 7 usually related to updater-script. On cm10.1 also have this problem but the rom is flashed
Edit: did you try to boot it?
Sent from my Xperia™ go
Ok it has booted... maybe this logcat can help developers, it's the only thing that i can do to help.
munjeni keep strong and never give up!
i kind of tried it. pretty smooth. here is list of what works and dont work
WORKING:
- boots!
- wifi
- adb
NOT WORKING
- sim related (data,call)
- sdcard related (camera,file manager)
- bluetooth
- audio
- torch
- mic (not sure because did not test this)
- recovery (vold error)
EDIT: i did accidentally try to boot it with phantom kernel, show up until upgrading android and start up system, then stuck there without adb detecting anything. after tried wipe data got bootloop. haha

hell yeah..finally thank you! i will try it as soon as possible(using cm 12.1 by nick) and did you overclocked the GPU to 700 GHz?
Can you also lower the brightness as much as possible for battery and night? cause it can only be done when ROM is made! Please
I've been waiting for this for so long! Hopefully the J500M variant will be up soon.
Thanks for the hard work!

Great work bro. Looking forward to this project!
FINALLY! I have the 8GB variant, and the latest update disabled my ability to rollback. (it's an irreversible firmware update) I'm just waiting until this thing is usable enough.
If you have an 8GB, it's literally impossible to install anything with all the bloat.

FINALLY! I have the 8GB variant, and the latest update disabled my ability to rollback. (it's an irreversible firmware update) I'm just waiting until this thing is usable enough.

Thank you for this useful comment!
CM13 has the option to format externalSD as internal. Also, users that flash irreversible firmwares will be able to have an AOSP based ROM.
Instead of just waiting for CM13 to be stable, you can contribute to make this work faster. Search and find errors through logcat, discuss them here so we can take a look on them.
This applies to every user out there. That's why XDA is made for, after all!

Nick Verse.

Workarounds & Tips
Avoiding data encryption issues, please backup your current ROM to SDCARD or your PC.
If you are facing decryption issue after flashing this ROM, and previous using the Stock ROM, please make sure you have used "FORMAT DATA" on TWRP and wipe Data/System/Cache.
Don't ask for Secondary Screen supports, AOSP doesn't support this, so maybe we can make it works on Pie with cutout settings? For Oreo: NO.
If you are using Custom Kernel or Mods and causing issues, i will not be supporting this.
Don't ask about Android Pie, it will come when it's ready, this thread is for Oreo.
Temp-Fix for Speaker : PATCH
If you are facing microphone issue while recording videos or audios, please WIPE Cache/Dalvik Cache from TWRP.

Hello, I would gladly love to test this ROM. However i just noticed that the download speed from the server is horrendous... Please check whats wrong, because its downloading from 0-100kb/s. I'm sure the ROM is a blast though

Read the OP#1, Use FORMAT DATA on twrp before flashing this rom, and remember to back up your current rom to sdcard or pc.
Already tried this rom. So far is good, except for the 3 things not working. hope to see your feature update soon. also for the secondary screen, is there a way to solve it? got discuss with another romer, so far he said third party no-sense rom is unlikely to solve the secondary screen, to make it work.
