Fixes both NFC/Hotspot on Phh v105 base roms only.
So far confirmed to be working on New Benzo and New Arrow treble roms. Test it on other treble roms and let me and @raystef66 know how it goes.

On OneDotOne Descendant rom this fix don't work for me. It makes NFC visible in menu but it constanly switch off if enabled.

Rom needs to be based off of Phh v105. So it should work if dev updates to this. Hopefully this fix continues to work on future updates from Phh, or better yet he fixes it in the base.

Small question - Do you have an axon7??
If you flashed this on a Moto Z then please learn xda
HotSpot does work on the Axon 7 with Phh´s v105 by default.
You just have to switch to 2.4 Ghz in the HotSpot settings, since the Axon 7 doesnt support 5 Ghz HotSpot which was set by default.

On some ROMs true, but the mod should set it at 2.4 GHz by default for some users that don't know to switch it. Also had devs and users from other device communities saying phh v105 base roms didn't have hotspot working at all until they flashed my fix. Aka somewhat universal.

The NFC lib config files I modified will tell you it interacts with P2P Protocols through transport drivers. It could interact through hw tunneling to GPS to Bluetooth. One slight little bump with file placement or script modifications could mess with the file structure and synchronization. When I was modifying the transport drivers I even managed to mess up nfc and Bluetooth at the same time lol. Got fixed though before I put it out.
Does that explain it for you a little? It's all about on some system structures interaction and making the file structure as small as possible. May benefit in some areas and may not in others.

For that my friend your easiest solution would be 'app settings' application. Although there's a catch you must have xposed framework installed for the application to work. Once you get it all done just change the dpi of any app to 480 or anything you want really. Xposed framework also brings many other possibilities for customization and it's a win win situation

find the app that you want in 360 dpi inside APP SETTINGS app, then open it and then it will give you first option of "DPI" and the value given will be 0, change it to 360.
Save it and reboot the phone.

This might sound weird but just give it a shot. Try changing WeatherDaemon2014_LMR.apk in system/app to 480dpi. Let me know if it works. Also if that doesn't work try can try chaning the dpi of your system ui.

Please don't install full version of GAPPS!

I can use google keyboard, but when I go into the settings, it won't allow me to. I chose stock for opengapps android 7.1.

I decided to put out some early builds of LineageOs.
My builds might have some unmerged commits or other modification not related to LineageOs.
I plan to do weekly builds until Lineage starts to roll out the official builds, so Nexus 5 users are able to have the biscuit earlier.
I did not encountered any bugs, everything works so it's safe to flash.
No need to wipe the device when you flash a new build just wipe cache/dalvik and flash the zip.
I plan to do nightlies (daily build) until Lineage start to roll out the official builds so Nexus 5 users are able to have the biscuit earlier.

It's a very early stage for LineageOs , they started from where they left off in CM14.1, that's why it looks exactly the same for now

I made an overlay and a magisk module for mi8se, to be used for the havoc gsi made by @Technical, see https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...0-havoc-os-t3914038/post79177060#post79177060. This build works really well, I really recommend it.
The overlay for mi8se I propose is updated with the latest values extracted from latest xiaomi.eu dev (9.3.28), in attachment. It is also intended to be used with at least the 9.3.28 vendor. The settings for automatic brightness is a bit different, in particular minimum brigthness which is a bit less low.
I also made a magisk module which:
- puts the mi8se overlay in /vendor/overlay
- puts havoc bootanimation in /system/media
- solves the boot warning (This device...) and a problem in phh's rw-system.sh which causes several problems (for AOD in particular) due to incorrect ro.build.fingerprint and ro.vendor.build.fingerprint values
- solves the bluetooth audio incall problem, by umounting the empty directory of /vendor/etc/audio performed in phh's rw-system.sh script
- puts the two libs camera.qcom.so and com.qti.chi.override.so /system/vendor/lib/hw so that GCam works perfectly (for me, MGC_6.1.021.MI8_V2e.zip), see related topic https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8-se/themes/fullyworking-google-camera-xiaomi-mi-8-t3877714

Yes, it's now my daily driver and I'm very very happy with it (battery-friendly, many customizations, ...). And it works really well with my magisk module which solves some small glitches as I explained (and two big needs for me: bluetooth audio incalls and AOD).
The only problem I still have is that app fingerprint authentication is deactivated at each reboot. I have to add or remove a fingerprint to make it work again. In previous in havoc builds it was also randomly deactivated during uptime, it appears now to only happen at boot (still have to be confirmed).

Well, in fact, I *suppose* EIS works because the "Video stabilization" in settings can be set to true. But does it really work? I cannot certify.
Btw, I just repacked the libs found in https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8-se/themes/google-camera-fix-mi8se-android-9-t3868993 with my other modifications, so you can use this existing magisk module.
Nope, in gcam you can set stabilization to "on" but it really doesn't work. Try to make video, then disable module and make same video in stock camera app. You will see the difference

I have problems with WiFi on Pie. WiFi is connected but sometimes it is inactive. It looks like some kind of deep sleep of WiFi. After couple of seconds it works again. Anyone have problems with WiFi? I know that LG is informed about that strange behaviour on Pie.

I didn't? maybe it's the ROM you are using. I did this on a liquid remix pie ROM on an older phone that was stolen from me long ago.
On my new h932 I flashed havoc 2.9 over a flashable stock Oreo and wifi seemed to work but I have the flashable modem on my sd card just in case

Ah I understand. In fact, the problem is on stock Pie, with custom rom there's no problem
