I'm using havoc os pie . Everything works well . But I'm missing the option of changing the icon pack in default pixel launcher. I have tried rootless pixel launcher, ruthless pixel launcher , pie dp1 launcher ,. They have the icon pack option but the recents style is changing to Oreo style (I think from pie onwards, recents style is included in launcher). I wonder is there any launcher with pie recent style and more customization like rootless launcher ...
If anyone who have the link please share.

I'm using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X(Snapdragon) and I'm currently on the MIUi 9 Global 7.10.19 Beta.
The bootloader is unlocked but the phone is not rooted.
I really like how the new pixel phone's interface looks.
What's the most convenient way to get the same look (home screen+app drawer+settings+app icons+notification badges+status bar UI) on my phone?
Do i need to switch to a specific Custom ROM? Or can i achieve this with the Nova launcher Pro?
any advise would be highly appreciated
You cannot change status bar and settings with MIUI, only theme it. (change colors)
To achieve Pixel look you definitely need custom ROM.
For example LineageOS + Lawnchair launcher. ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.deletescape.lawnchair.plah )
There is also Pixel 2 launcher, but it doesn't support custom icon packs so idk if you will like it.

Nova launcher can help you with home screen+app drawer+icons+notification badges (use latest beta its better ).
Settings and system status bar require some good theme . I have used miui hardly for 4 days so cannot say which theme would be better but there is a theme capable of getting you aosp status bar icons
For notification style and quick settings use material notification shade (just use your brain to get it work properly)

Hi all,i try to run modded pixel launcher or nova launcher to replace the stock poco launcher on miui 10 beta. The custom are run fine but the icon are super ugly and old school, it doesn't follow the icon in previous poco launcher.i go into theme app and apply new themes but nothing has change on custom launcher. i believe miui 9.6 will face the same problem too.
anyone can tell how to solve this?

There's no solution for this use third party icons from playstore to replace them. I've seen this problem in every redmi series it looks like miui icons are limited to system launcher only.
Use a miui icon pack in Nova Launcher and enable resizing icons to match material guidelines, you should be fine.
I faced the same issue...I installed "Lawnchair" launcher,..and yeah the icons look ugly as hell..

Hello together,
I've installed AOSP extended on my poco but I've noticed if I don't have as default launcher the launcher that comes with the ROM and use the pixel launcher I don't have the app drawer available at the recents screen.
Does anybody now if I can use the pixel launcher and have the app drawer in the recents screen? Do I have to install the pixel launcher as system app? The pixel launcher has been installed via the de open gapps.

Wow. This looks amazing.
My best customization without any launcher
I've reduced the icon size by Extra Small (XS):
Settings->Home screen->Customise layout
Reducing the text size looks minimal:
Settings->Display->Text size (your Wish)
Finally reducing the display size will make a huge impact:
Settings->Additional settings->Accessibility->Display size (Your Wish)
Here's mine
Lawnchair V2 from play store (because gesture works)
Crayon icons (also check gradion you may like that too)
Also with miui store themes
Nova launcher+flight icon pack and wallpaper from freshwalls app (they have some good poco x2 wallpaper for notch app is developed by tech burner team from youtube).
