i got this device from flipkart on 12 sep sale ( indian version)... upon opening flipkart packaging i noticed rough dent on box .. i thought its normal because of transport... the plastic base where device being put is also detached from box.( i can see glue between them)... when i started device i saw an update to version 9.6.14.0..... all poco device shipping already got this version pre installed.. unfortunately i didnt remember what version with it got shipped.. my box packing is August... and most strange thing is there is no microsoft apps and kika keyboard pre installed like everyone... is it possible that i got returned device... someone returned their device and that device is sent to me... is it possible?..... or anyone else in same situation like Microsoft apps and kika keyboard missing upon boot...
At first when I bought phone I also didn't have .14 fw instead I got ,11 one and if I remember I got m$ applications after updating to .14. still you can uninstall them without any problems. But I bought phone when it was available in Poland which was 3.09.18

i didnt got ms app after .14 or .22 update.. actually i dont need them .. i just want to know why my device is different... m i getting returned/refurbished unit?
Do you have any problems with it? I don't think that, but I don't know anything about your reseller

Do a factory reset. Factory reset will install whatever factory apps that came pre-installed. If you see the microsoft apps after factory reset then it is possible that you got a preopened phone.

They updated your phone before it was sent. The ultra is aging device. They came out around the jellybean days. My brand new ultra came with 4.3.
Go into settings then like 3or4 lines down tap "more". You will see from there. I think

Yes that is why back in January mine was on kitkat already
Huawei is stopping users to unlock bootloaders for the devices going to be launched after today.
For the devices which are there, get it in another 2 months, else the same applies to it if you wanted to unlock post 60 days from today.
I don't think there is any point in thinking to buy a device from Huawei in future. They won't believe that this act will actually hamper their market.

Yes it will be valid until you see the message " Your device is unsafe or so" while booting, and that will only appear if you use cmd and the unlock command to unlock bootloader. So no issues in getting it handy.
i really had to read the announcement 4 or 5 times in shock and disbelief lol.
- A phone company has gone from zero to one of the best by 1) open source 2) unlocked bootloader as standard
- Another company with a diminishing reputation is not open source and has seen current massive issues regarding unlocking bootloader requests (root cause = not being unlocked as standard), so this company puts final nail in coffin by permanently removing bootloader unlock, thus creating the complete opposite of what has been globally defined as the sucessful model.

I couldn't access the site on a mobile browser, worked fine on my PC.
Try setting Chrome on your phone to browse the desktop site, or just use a PC.
Hi. I'm using Google Pay for quite long time, but suddenly it stopped working at all. It looks like the app don't recognize I'm holding the phone against a terminal. I'm on 9.0.0.210(C432E10R1P16). NFC is working, I can read nfc tags. In google play device is marked as certificated.
Any ideas what is going on ?
Have you tried a reboot or clearing Google pays cache in the apps area?

Yes, I have done both things. I have also my bank app and with this app nfc is working so its looks like this is only google pay problem.

Safenet passed, all succeed but nfc still not working.
I have the exact same problem - the phone doesn't even recognise the terminal and won't work for Google Pay on bus/underground or on card machines in store. I'm on build 9.0.0.265 not sure that is relevant but I only noticed the fail after the last software update.

If you both have the official updates and not run the hstool, you both should contact google support to check on the gpay status... ... the nfc is working fine, ju t not the gpay.. google should be able to check if its a backend problem

This is really weird because this morning my mate 20 x was working fine on the london underground. But during lunchtime i couldnt tap to buy my lunch and then it wouldnt work on the tube on the way home. Since our problem happened at a similar time could this be a problem with huawei? I get zero reaction when i place it near a terminal.

Mine turned out to be that NFC had managed to turn its self off. I opened up Google pay and it told me it was off, turned it back on and now working again. No idea how it switched off in the first place, its not in my quick settings
There was a Google Play store update for Gpay a few days ago, did yours update? I'm on firmware 210 and Gpay worked Thursday but I have not tried since the app update.

So is it huawei or Google fault... So odd..
So a little update on my end. I restarted my phone many times and toggle nfc a bunch of times and today all i got was a reaction. This was the warning saying hold your phone closer but after that, nothing. I dont understand whats wrong, my phone has zero reaction when placed near a pay terminal and it seems like a physical fault maybe the nfc coil was burnt out or something.
But since me and OP had this happen at nearly the same time makes me think its a software issue. I thought it might be like the old note 5 i had where you can trip knox but i dont know.
I had to buy my mate 20x from hong kong since it wasnt sold in the UK. Not sure if i can even claim warranty here.

Device info hw dosnt provide information about the lcd panel ... Is there any other way to check if is it lg or boe ...

Root access helps to read LCM&Touchscreen's infos.
It was able read it without root acces in my old mate 20 p

Hi Guys. I had opportunity to test out my OP7TPro with Seat android auto connection for a past few days. I have issues with it, not sure why, since 5t worked like a charm with the same settings/permissions. After some time when screen is totally off (Gmaps is running in the background together with android auto) my gsm range just dies. And i cant have it back untill I unblock the phone. I turned off screensaver. Also got rid of the feature which turns off connections, etc., when phone is not used for a while. Still, it didnt helped.
Anyone had similar issues?

Guys, it seems it doesnt happen only when i use android auto. I've noticed that when i have GMaps on, and ill lose gsm connection, it doesnt comes back when im back in range. Factory reset didnt helped, im still having this issue.
Any ideas?
This phone is killing me. Wierd problems all the time. If i wont find the fix, ill just return it and never buy 1+ again.
