Hello guys.At our universty we have Wifi but I cant connect it with 4.2.2.I see other people who on android 4+ has same problem.

hello everyone I have redmi note 2 and I used this device for 6 months . 3 days ago I install Wpa tester application in device after that my device not turning wi-fi and Bluetooth its stuck at open and not turning on ?
Also I install clean miui 8 rom but it still not open
Mobile network Works good.
Anyone knows my problem?

I noticed something with my MAC address .
In stock MIUI rom it's f4-f5-XX-XX-XX-XX, that's okay, wifi works fine either hidden networks
In other roms the MAC address changed to something else 00-0a-XX-XX-XX-XX, with this MAC wifi and hidden networks works fine. (( NOT ALL ROMS, THERE'S ROMS DOESN'T CHANGE THE MAC BY USING MIUI STOCK MAC, SO THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST))
After flash farncokernel the MAC changes to the MIUI one, but hidden networks doesn't work.
Is that's wired ?

Maybe you should report this to the dev of franco kernel. could possibly be a kernel bug.
Hi guys. I have a problem with my mi pad 4. I have a problem with the 5 GHz wifi that is no longer displayed in the networks available with rom pie. let me explain. with the RoM 10 MiU the wifi networks 5 are perfectly detected. I installed the ROM pie (AEX havoc). the 5 GHz wifi appeared good at the beginning. then for some unknown reason I was disconnected from the 5 GHz network. resettlement. network reset ... flash rom pie I can not see any 5 GHz wifi network anymore. I reinstall a rom MIU in 8.1 global wifi is present. the problem is under the rom pie. if you have any solutions please ?

thanks to dev. This is the only Pie ROM that does not have this problem in wifi alone without a SIM card.
Right, because the needed change which I referred to is included in this version.
Changing the "control channel" on the router fixed it for me. I suppose this the workaround. The fix is in that wificountrycode parameter.
My Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 had Miui 12 on it & I recently updated it to Miui 12.5.3. Now the internet speed through Mobile data is quite intermittent. Most of the time it is under 1KB/s. And then it sometimes goes to 12 MB/s randomly. When I connect to wifi, the internet speed is stable but connected through Mobile data using the phone network is unstable. This is so frustrating and I dont know why it's happening.
Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I have to downgrade to Miui 12?

Mine too I have faced internet problem while gaming so I have flashed pixel experience ROM ..Or you can roll back to miui 12

Miui 12.5.3 is the most recent update available to my phone. It says no new updates are available.

Try downloading the update from here and update manually

I have the same problem! But in my case it's Mi 10 Pro with MIUI 12.5.3 which I downloaded 2 days ago to my phone. I thought they will fix stupid UI bugs but they added new bugs...

12.5.4 became available to my phone & I updated to it. The same issue persists
No issues here... MIUI 12.5.4 Global ... my 4G/Wi-Fi speed is almost 120Mbps (15 MB/s)
It should be your signal or carrier

Try using custom kernel like Westcoast, and see if it goes well
Redmi 8 with 12.5.3 with same issue network speed is slow over wifi and cellular no system update anyone found a solution that dosent involve factory reset ? It's for my mom's phone
I'm using a custom ROM so I can't look at the current settings in Miui. Has anyone tried changing the preferred network type (2G, 3G, 4G) in the settings? Settings along these lines may allow the system to do more.
