Hello,
I have the Redmi Note 4x and the device is getting worm in one location where the home button is when the screen is on, when it off the temperature returns to normal. Also it began 2 days ago and I didn't experience it before.
All the rest of the screen doesn't heat up at all.
Does it sound right? or is there something I can do?
Thanks

I bought this 3 phones from gearbest, and the three experienced a common problem, screen goes black, but phone is working, the buttons are on, and you can fell vibration navigating betwen menus.
The mediatek went completely black, no responds, but the other 2 shows the problem once, i restart the phones and the screeen was fine, somebody else experienced this kind of problems? Or maybe this guys sold me refurbirshed phones .
Hi.
I was wondering, I recently replaced my LCD and frame in my redmi note 4x.
It's working lovely apart from it won't wake up on double tap now and the home buttons are dim.
Anyone have any thoughts???!
Thanks
Since you are experiencing issues after a hardware change. I would suggest that you start by opening the phone again, check and re-seat all of the connectors. It may just be as simple as a poor connection.

Just seems strange the screen works perfect but won't wake double tapping
Has anyone else faced with the issue of display not working properly in K20 Pro?
I started facing few problems from day 1, though the problems were minor like
.
[Problem 1] When using the phone with dark mode on or with absolute black background with 0-25% brightness the screen didnt respond well to on screen movements. Like when scrolling, the items on the screen produced a blue shadow on black backgrounds.
I thought this was due to Xiaomi's usage of cheap & low quality Super Amoled displays. Im not sure if it is as i thought it is or due to some other reasons.
[Problem 2] after 25-27 days of usage the ambient disolay started to switch of automatically after a few seconds of locking the screen. And when i tries to unlock the screen by fingerprint, te scanner didnt work. I had to push the lock button and then the screen switched on after 4-5 seconds of pressing the button(i was pressing the button only once and not holding it).
I still dont know why did this happen (I'll update soon)
[Problem 3] after 2-3 days of the problem 2 one fine morning my screen went dark.... Like completely blank, although i tried switching on and off multiple times but the screen didnt show a single hope to turn on.
So i took iit to the service centre and found out that there were many people with the same problem. Most of them being the first launch sale buyers(including me).
SERVICE CRNTRE told me that there was instructions from the comoany(Xiaomi) to collect all the Faulty screen K20 Pro's and provide a new sealed box within 1 week. Providing that there are no signs of external damage to the handset. Peoole will have to suubmit the box and its contents with the phone.
So Yaaay! For that but Naaay! For xiaomi for producing soo many faulty handsets out of the factory.
I'm writing this post as there are no posts regarding this issue on the internet and i was shocked when my phone went dark.
i’m facing problem 1 too
but no touch issue or burning for me
mine is China 6/128gb variant
1st batch
Redmi8a (dual) , screen is getting dimmed when phone heats up while exposed to sun , the same issue i experienced in redmi7a which i returned , turns out 8a dual have the same issue. I don't know if this is some kind of protective mechanism to keep the phone from overheating. Brightness comes to normal when device cools down. It bugs me even more because i cannot recall facing the same problem in my earlier redmi 3s.

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my colleague's Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 as can be seen in the attached video.
Couple weeks ago I replaced his cracked LCD display without any problems for a new original LCD unit.
Today he sent me this weird video of the behaviour of his phone - the phone is launching apps and do other crazy stuff without any user's involvement as you can see at the video...
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 - Weird behaviuor
Do you have any idea what could be wrong with that? Did you experience this type of behaviour?
Thank you in advance for your reply!
Martin.
Probably a faulty LCD
He'll have to get a new one
