Dear Poco F1 users,
I am a hardcore custom rom flasher. I am thinking of buying a poco f1. But do custom Roms support jio volte. I have seen comments on gsi Roms that it do not support volte.
A general question. Do other devices like one plus devices support jio volte in their custom ROMs?
My first rooted device is xiaomi mi3. I love miui. Still... Need answers from current users.
VoLTE works fine on custom ROMs. Only known broken thing in custom ROMs is infrared sensor for face unlocking. Face unlocking works normally in day light though I guess.
Wow. That's great. My current device is samsung s7. All custom Roms for this device have only volte support for data. Voice don't work.
If data and voice call works for volte, jio volte, i will be getting one during big billion ??

I really don't see the reason to have VoLTE enable on our device: this is probably cause I never tried it out, cause I didn't have a reason to do that: the calling quality is already good.
So, my question is for who are using this feature: does it really improve the quality? Is the improvement sensible or is only a "placebo effect"?
Someday I'll surely try it, and I want to arrive to that moment prepared and without fake hopes
I think u are not an Indian.
Redmi note 3 snapdragon version was specially designed for Indian market, the reason why Indians in most of custom ROM want volte is because of Reliance Jio which is a new and the fastest growing telecom company in the world.
The company provides us free 1 GB 4g internet everyday, free voice calls and video calls and subscription to its many entertainment apps.
The problem we face is that the sim works on only volte enabled 4g phones so if volte is not working in ROM we have to download an app which enables us to make calls on non volte supported 4g phones which we don't like.
Plus with volte we get full HD voice which is impressive.
So volte is very important for Indians.
Press the thanks button if u are satisfied.

Hello everybody,
Yesterday I received my Le Pro 3 Elite, and inserted my new SIM, so I noticed I had 3G network, waiting to get 4G LTE as according to the product description, the Leeco Le Pro 3 Elite (X722) has FDD-LTE (including B2 and B4, for Mexico).
My phone never got 4G, then I read the box and the specification sheet and found that everything is in chinese, but there are some things in English, more precisely it doesn't say FDD-LTE anywhere, but TD-LTE.
I bought my phone on Geekbuying and I don't know what to do, as I did my choose between this phone and the Xiaomi Mi5s because of the compatibility of the LTE bands.
My x722 phone if it has 4G LTE
Where are you from? Which LTE bands do you use your phone with?
España 800, 1800, 2600
my x722 works 4g, is from banggood, came with 23s, now is in 26s and still works 4g
My x722 works 4G in Greece, 800,1600,2600. Everythinh is fine. Maybe you need to contact youw provider to activate 4G, some providers need to.

Which band you use? Do you have twrp recovery and rooted phone?
I'm sorry. It's all fine now, I don't know why it couldn't receive 4G the first day, now I'm using it for the second day and it's working on LTE.
Thanks.

Hello, my English is bad, I found two custom ROMs( RR and aicp) with good custom cores, but they have 5 bugs, which I found: headphones do not work, video can not be played, stock app camera do photos 1 or 2 mb., fingerprint works bad, sound when talking loud, almost not regulated. Antutu 160k in this ROMs all another works fine! I'm not a developer, and if there is someone who knows what to do, please correct bugs. Please... Thanks so much!!!

There's few custom ROMs (Genisis 026s, lineage 14.1, lineage 15, AOSP Extended, RR, aicp). Without bugs are only 6.0.1. Roms (genesis and some 020s ported from 028s). All other roms have some bugs. At this moment i using aosp which one have better sound in calls, and louder microphone. RR is perfect rom, but have bugs with microphone during video calls and video recording. I found some fix, but not working correctly. But sound on speakers is excellent...better than on stock rom

If we group of 50-100 people keep flooding their twitter and Facebook handle, then maybe they will take some action. It has to done because our phone is compatible. Redmi note 4 has got it.

All thanks to amog787 sir, we are able to activate Airtel Volte easily on the Kenzo. It only works on Android Oreo,Pie and Q roms though.
I've tested and it works flawlessly! Impressed by this feature!!

Hi guys.
Is there any rom which has Vowifi(wifi calling) for redmi note 3 kenzo or is wifi calling something hardware related and not possible to get on this mobile?
Does wifi calling need to be supported for particular device models by cellular service providers because if that is true then the cellular service providers in my country dont show redmi note 3 in supported devices on their websites and i cant get it or is there a workaround to trick them into thinking this is some other device which is supported?
Thanks in advance.

I was the proud owner of a Kenzo for many years (in the UK) but after I moved home to a very weak mobile signal area I spent many hours searchinfg for a VoWiFi solution without success - so I reluctantly recently sold it :- (
I learned that MIUI never incorporated the necessary code into the firmware (this is not the ROM). And I never could find a developer that had been prepared to modifiy the code to allow VoWiFi. Also note the modification has to be compatible with the networks in your country.
You will see many recent custom Kenzo ROMs with VoWiFi switches - but it will not work without the non existent firmware mod.
Sorry.
I'm running rooted stock 30b (US998), and it's been running solid for years until lately. Now it seems it's starting to lag and slow down to the point of near unusability.
Want to try using a custom ROM to see if that will alleviate the issue, but due to my carrier (MVNO of T-Mo), I need VoLTE. Normally LineageOS is my go-to, but the 19.1 build doesn't support VoLTE and it says it probably never will.
I see other ROMs as well, but if they're all AOSP/LineageOS based, then can I safely assume they won't support VoLTE either? Or are there any custom ROMs out there for the V30 that DO support VoLTE?
VoWiFi would also be nice
Thanks
As far as I've seen, no custom ROM supports VOLTE on this phone. Maybe other phones have it, but not this one. There was a "reward" post for someone finding a way to get it working, but it never happened.
I've heard issues with Pie ROMs on this phone, as the released version wasn't done very well. I might suggest going back to US998 Oreo as this may resolve the issues for you.

Not for custom ROMs. In fact that's why we created this other thread that by 2022 all U.S. owners of V30 would have to go back to stock ROM -- due to 3G bands (CDMA & HSPA going away and VoLTE being necessary for phone calls with carrier numbers. You can ROOT the stock ROM to still modify stuff, but only stock ROM allows VoLTE.
All U.S. V30/V3O+/V30S will need stock firmware, not LOS-based custom ROMs. When?

3G CDMA and HSPA is going away. U.S. users will NEED VoLTE and/or Wi-Fi calling for carrier phone calls. V30 LOS-based ROMs do not have that and will never have that.

I started that thread back in mid-2020 to warn people in plenty of time. AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile (which includes former Sprint) delayed their timelines a little but still the admonition is true. Users in other countries that still have 3G in addition to LTE can use custom ROMs.
The caveat to that is unless you are using a VoIP phone number (which uses data) -- like Google Voice -- and don't need carrier based phone calls. But most people only use carrier calls.
