Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then was later rebased to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. Now we are based on AOSP on Oreo. When i apply the margarita theme im not getting the full translucent black notifications shader thing. My notifications are solid white..

found another problem, the System Ui will crash if i start a song in spotify or start a song in youtube red and close the app and it will just keep crashing until i reboot the phone..

I can confirm the system ui bug. Whenever I start my music player (black player in my case), it instantly throws the system ui into a fit. The phone is rendered useless until a reboot.

Video camera not working
Charging led always green
wattsup video not working
Offline charging works but no symbol of charging, once it goes screen off it won't wake.
No system's music player.
No DT2W feature.
By the way performance of rom is good and smooth

Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. Its a nice ROM in general, but some customisation mentioned in the introduction are not there, for example backlight buttons switch.

As observed in the above post, Face unlock is about to disappear soon from most of the Custom ROMs, sadly.
Why?
- Y'all might be aware of the SenseTime SDK takedown request to LineageOS for using proprietary HALs. Well, in case you dunno, the existing faceunlock implementation uses Lenovo's proprietary implementation reverse-engineered.
- Guess what? The same story happens again... Hence, press F for face unlock guys!(?)
What's next?
- Since the code is precious, there could be patches, or private builds, maybe something out of the box...

Does this rom have 4k 60fps video recording in its preinstalled camera app? And long screenshot featuere?

Custom roms are free to build because all the code is open source. But the sdk used for the faceunlock is lets say copyrighted. You cant just use it. Lenovo made or payed somebody to use it. So they own it and we have no right to use it even if it was reverse engineered. Hope that explains it
