Does this mean my phone is modified? Is this the reason why I still haven't got any software or security updates? My phone is huawei mate 10 lite.

I want to update phone to android 10 but huawei doesn't support this phone for EMUI 10 and wanted to install a custom rom

Hi Guys I need your help in downgrading my Mate 10 Pro BLA-L29 from EMUI 9.1 to EMUI 8. I bought the device from middle east but I am using device now in India. Reason for downgrade is I am not able to use VOLTE services on any of Indian networks on EMUI 9 AND 10, whereas it was working fine on EMUI 8.
I can downgrade from 10 to 9 Via Hisuite but there is no further option to rollback to Emui 8 via Hisuite. I tried downloading stock firmware for Emui 8.0 and tried via recovery mode but installation failed for downgrade.
I need your help guys as many are experts here.

I'm curious if it will be based on Android 10 or 11. EMUI 11 on P40 is based on Android 10, on Mate 40 it's based on Android 11.

Man thats not what u said. U said on mate 40 emui is based on android 11 and its not, its based on android 10 and android 11 is on the way for huawei devices.

That was my question, my curiosity: is Android 11 coming for P30 Pro (and other Huawei devices) or only for Mate 40? Doesn't matter if it's already on Mate 40 or not, it is coming for sure. For the P30 Pro, let's hope.

Still nothing but there is a list of over 40 huawei and honor phones that will get harmony os, according to HC, among which is p30 pro. There were some rumors that beta testing for harmony os will start in mid December but i have no idea when it starts for p30 pro.

I don't advice you, keep on EMUI 10 itz more stable and faster on Mate 10 and 10 pro.
there are alot of lags and issues on EMUI 12 on Huawei Mate 10 & 10 Pro.
